How to use the selfie stick?

Insert your smartphone into the universal holder. Open the Camera app. Press the 'PRESS' button to take a photo. The button must be connected via the 3.5mm audio cable.

How to extend the stick?

Rotate each segment counterclockwise to unlock, then gently pull to extend. To lock, rotate clockwise until it stops.

Which smartphones are compatible?

The holder accepts smartphones with a width between 5.5 cm and 7.5 cm. It works with most Android and iOS models.

Can I use an action camera?

Yes, the stick has a standard 1/4 inch thread compatible with action cameras like GoPro. Simply screw the camera directly or via an adapter.

The button doesn't work, what should I do?

Make sure the audio cable is properly plugged into your smartphone's headphone jack. If Android 3.0 or lower, an alternative Camera app may be needed. Also check that the volume up key acts as the shutter trigger.

How to clean the stick?

Use a soft dry cloth to wipe the surface. Avoid any chemical or abrasive products that could damage the coating.

Is the stick suitable for outdoor use?

The manual recommends indoor use only (dry rooms). Avoid moisture, rain, and snow to protect the components.

3 Functions

You can use the Selfie Stick from aplic to take even better selfies of yourself and your friends or family. Simply attach your existing device such as smartphone, then connect it to the Selfie Stick by 3.5mm audio jack and taking photos becomes easy.

4 Initial start-up

Place your smartphone in the universal mobile holder then connect it to the Selfie Stick by 3.5mm audio jack. Then open a camera app. Now operate the "PRESS" button to take a photo.

To extend or retract the Selfiestick, you have to rotate several segments. This releases the lock and you are able to pull out the element. To reattach the element again, just turn it back to the starting position.

In addition, you can mount smartphones and digital cameras and also action/sports cams which make the aplic selfie stick particularly versatile. The selfie stick is equipped with a robust 1/4 inch thread for mounting on camera tripods. The mounting port is compatible with all cameras with tripod thread and a standard size of 1/4 inch thread. It can also be used with sports cams such as GoPro, for example. So it is very easy to mount those cams on the monopod due to the easy holding system.

Note: If you are using Google Android 3.0 or higher, the camera function will be correctly assigned. However, if you are using an older operating system, you will need a compatible camera app. To be able to use the Selfie Stick as intended, please make sure that the volume button of your smartphone is assigned with the shutter release of your camera app. If you still cannot take a photo using the volume button on your mobile phone, please download an alternative camera app from the app store and trya again.

5 Safety instructions and liability disclaimer

Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or conversions. Avoid contact with mains voltages. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not certified

for use in the open air; only use it in dry conditions. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep it away from high temperatures. Do not subject the device to sudden changes in temperature or heavy vibration as this might damage electronic components. Examine the device for damage before using it. The unit should not be used if it has received an impact or has been damaged in any other way. Please observe national regulations and restrictions. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the instructions. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally impaired persons. Any repair or alteration to the device not carried out by the original supplier, will invalidate the warranty or guarantee. The product may only be used by persons who have read and understood these instructions. The device specifications may change without any separate prior notice to this effect.
