When using the equipment, a few safety precautions must be observed to avoid injuries and damage. Please read the complete operating instructions and safety regulations with due care. Keep this manual in a safe place, so that the information is available at all times. If you give the equipment to any other person, hand over these operating instructions and safety regulations as well. We cannot accept any liability for damage or accidents which arise due to a failure to follow these instructions and the safety instructions.

- Never put the impact screwdriver to any use other than that intended. Keep pneumatic tools safe from children.
• Always concentrate while you work. Do not work if you are tired. - Use only a quick-release coupling to connect up the air supply.
- It is imperative to use a pressure reducer to set the working pressure.
- Never use oxygen or combustible gases as an energy source.
- Always disconnect the tool from the air supply before carrying out any repairs or maintenance work.
• Use only original replacement parts. - Never allow the tool to run unloaded at full idle speed for any length of time.
- Wear the necessary protective clothing when working with the impact screwdriver.
• Wear ear-muffs and safety gloves! - Compressors and lines reach high temperatures during operation. Avoid contact! Risk of burns!
• Gases or vapours drawn in by the compressor have to be kept free of constituents that
may cause fire or explosions inside the compressor.
- When you disconnect the hose coupling, hold the coupling element in your hand to prevent injury from the whiplashing hose.
- Wear goggles when working with the blow-out gun. Injuries may easily result from foreign bodies and blasted parts.
- Never point the blow-out gun at other persons and never use it to clean clothes that are still being worn.

- Open the packaging and take out the equipment with care.
- Remove the packaging material and any packaging and/or transportation braces (if available).
• Check to see if all items are supplied. - Inspect the equipment and accessories for transport damage.
- If possible, please keep the packaging until the end of the guarantee period.

3. Proper use
The impact screwdriver is a handy pneumatic tool for use in DIY and automotive workshops. It is ideal for fastening and releasing threaded connections on motor vehicles (wheels etc.) and on farming equipment.
The equipment is to be used only for its prescribed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a case of misuse. The user / operator and not the manufacturer will be liable for any damage or injuries of any kind caused as a result of this.
Please note that our equipment has not been designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial applications. Our warranty will be voided if the machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial businesses or for equivalent purposes.

Repairs and maintenance work are to be carried out only by authorized specialist workshops.
Please note!
The power of the tool will be reduced if you use a hose that has too small an inner diameter or which is too long.
Important
- In case of very tight or rusted wheel nuts, use a wheel spider or a torque wrench to loosen the wheel nut.
- Use a hammer screwdriver to fasten the wheel nuts. It is then important to tighten the wheel nuts with a torque wrench in accordance with torque specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Caution!
Residual risks
Even if you use this electric power tool in accordance with instructions, certain residual risks cannot be rules out. The following hazards may arise in connection with the equipment's construction and layout:
- Lung damage if no suitable protective dust mask is used.
- Damage to hearing if no suitable ear protection is used.
- Health damage caused by hand-arm vibrations if the equipment is used over a prolonged period or is not properly guided and maintained.
5. Before starting the equipment
Screw the plug-in nipple included in delivery into the air connection, having first wrapped 2 - 3 layers of sealing tape around the thread. Attach the required drive socket/bit to the square drive mount. Adjust the direction of rotation on the guide lever.
R = reverse/release screw, F = forward/tighten screw. Place the drive socket or bit on the nut or screw head. Press the trigger. The air supply can be adjusted by simultaneously depressing and turning the air regulator. Mark 4 = max. torque, mark 1 = min. torque. The tool is connected to the air supply by means of a fl exible pneumatic hose with a quick-release coupling.
6. Operation
Observance of the following maintenance instructions will ensure that this quality tool gives you years of troublefree service. Regular lubrication is vital for the long-term, reliable operation of your impact screwdriver. Use only special tool oil for this purpose. You can choose from the following options for lubricating the tool:
6.1 By mist oiler
A complete conditioning unit includes a mist oiler and is fitted to the compressor.
6.2 By hand
Each time before you use your impactscrewdriver, feed 3-5 drops of special tool oil into the air connection. If the pneumatic tool has not been used for several days, you must feed 5-10 drops of oil into the air connection before you switch on. Keep your pneumatic tool in dry rooms only.
6.3 Adjustment of resistance at the pivot arm (3)
By turning the adjustment screw (6) the resistance when shifting the bolts (3) can be adjusted.
7. The warranty does not cover:
- Wearing parts
- Damage caused by an unacceptable level of working pressure.
- Damage caused by unconditioned compressed air.
- Damage caused by improper use or unauthorized tampering.
8. Cleaning, maintenance and ordering of spare parts
Danger!
Always pull out the mains power plug before starting any cleaning work.
8.1 Cleaning
- Keep all safety devices, air vents and the motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean cloth or blow it with compressed air at low pressure.
• We recommend that you clean the device immediately each time you have finished

- Clean the equipment regularly with a moist cloth and some soft soap. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents; these could attack the plastic parts of the equipment. Ensure that no water can seep into the device. The ingress of water into an electric tool increases the risk of an electric shock.
8.2 Maintenance
There are no parts inside the equipment which require additional maintenance.

9. Disposal and recycling
The equipment is supplied in packaging to prevent it from being damaged in transit. The raw materials in this packaging can be reused or recycled. The equipment and its accessories are made of various types of material, such as metal and plastic. Never place defective equipment in your household refuse. The equipment should be taken to a suitable collection center for proper disposal. If you do not know the whereabouts of such a collection point, you should ask in your local council offices.
The reprinting or reproduction by any other means, in whole or in part, of documentation and papers accompanying products is permitted only with the express consent of the iSC GmbH.

The guarantee is valid for a period of 24 months starting from the purchase date of the device. Guarantee claims should be submitted before the end of the guarantee period within two weeks of the defect being noticed. No guarantee claims will be accepted after the end of the guarantee period. The original guarantee period remains applicable to the device even if repairs are carried out or parts are replaced. In such cases, the work performed or parts fitted will not result in an extension of the guarantee period, and no new guarantee will become active for the work performed or parts fitted. This also applies if an on-site service is used.

To make a claim under the guarantee, please register the defective device at: www.isc-gmbh.info. Please keep your bill of purchase or other proof of purchase for the new device. Devices that are returned without proof of purchase or without a rating plate shall not be covered by the guarantee, because appropriate identification will not be possible. If the defect is covered by our guarantee, then the item in question will either be repaired immediately and returned to you or we will send you a new replacement.
Of course, we are also happy offer a chargeable repair service for any defects which are not covered by the scope of this guarantee or for units which are no longer covered. To take advantage of this service, please send the device to our service address.
