USING THE COOKTOP
- The cooktop must be placed on a level, flat, stable and dry surface that is resistant to high temperature.
- Turn both thermostat knobs (5) and (6) so that they indicate the smallest dot (*). The two remaining dots (medium and large) indicate that the knob is turned into the activated positions.
- Set both thermostat knobs (5) and (6) to the extreme positions so that they point to OFF. The dots (small, medium and large) warn you that the knobs are turned in the direction of switching on.
- Connect the device to the mains (grounded).
- Turn the respective thermostat knob to one of the positions, from "1" to "5", to begin heating up the food. The respective control lamp indicates that the selected heating plate is heating up. Once the selected temperature is reached, the thermostat switches off the heating plate, which is indicated by the control lamp switching off. The thermostat maintains the temperature selected by the user by switching the heating plate on and off in cycles. The heating elements become very hot
during operation. Do not touch them, because doing so may cause burns. Setting the thermostat to "1", "2" or "3" allows gentle cooking, while setting it to "4" or "5" heats up the food faster.
- After cooking, turn the thermostat knob to the OFF position, unplug the cooktop from the mains and wait until it cools down.
- Do not use any pots that are unstable and may fall over. Use pots with flat bottoms to ensure full contact with the cooking plate and optimal efficiency.
- To ensure long life of the cooktop, do not let any liquids drip onto the cooking plates. Smoke may appear when using the cooktop for the first time - this is a normal phenomenon and will subside in further use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, the cooktop must be unplugged and left to cool down. The ceramic surface must be cleaned with damp cloth and a gentle cleaning agent for ceramic surfaces, and the housing must be cleaned with a damp cloth. Make sure water does not penetrate into the cooktop, because this may damage the cooktop.
NOTE! The cooktop and the power lead must not be submerged in water or other liquids.
