• Do not pull the power cord when pulling the power plug of the upright freezer. Please firmly grasp the plug and pull out it from the socket directly.
  • To ensure safe use, do not damage the power cord or use the power cord when it is damaged or worn.

- The gaps between freezer doors and between doors and freezer body are small, do not place your hands in these areas to prevent squeezing your fingers. Please be gentle when opening the freezer door to avoid articles falling out.

- Do not pick up food or containers with wet hands in the freezing chamber when the freezer is running, especially metal containers in order to avoid frostbite.

- Do not place heavy objects on top of the freezer considering that objects may fall when opening the door, and accidental injuries might be caused.

- Please pull out the plug in case of power failure or cleaning. Do not connect the freezer to power supply within five minutes to prevent damages to the compressor due to successive starts.

ENERGY WARNINGS

1. Upright freezer might not operate consistently when sited for an extended period of time below the cold end of the range of temperatures for which the upright freezer appliance is designed.
2. The fact that effervescent drinks should not be stored in low-temperature compartments or cabinets, and that some products such as water ices should not be consumed too cold.
3. The need to not exceed the storage time recommended by the food manufacturers for any

kind of food and particularly for commercially quick-frozen food in food-upright freezer and frozen-food storage compartments or cabinets.

1. The precautions necessary to prevent an undue rise in the temperature of the frozen food while defrosting the refrigerating appliance, such as wrapping the frozen food in several layers of newspaper.
2. The fact that a rise in temperature of the frozen food during manual defrosting, maintenance or cleaning could shorten the storage life.

DISPOSAL

The upright freezer's refrigerant and cyclopentane foam materials are combustible materials and discarded upright freezers should be isolated from fire sources and can not be burned. Please transfer the upright freezer to qualified professional recycling companies for processing to avoid damages to the environment or other hazards.

Please remove the door of the upright freezer and shelves which shall be properly placed to avoid accidents of children entering and playing in the upright freezer.

2. PROPER USE OF REFRIGERATOR

2.1 PLACEMENT

- Before using the upright freezer, remove all packaging materials including bottom cushions and foam pads and tapes inside the upright freezer, tear off the protective film on the door and the upright freezer body.

• Keep away from heat and avoid direct sunlight. Do not place the upright freezer in moist or watery places to prevent rust or reduction of insulating effect.
• The upright freezer should be placed in a well-ventilated indoor place; the ground shall be flat, and sturdy.

- The top space of the upright freezer shall be greater than 10cm, and the distances from bothsides and backside shall be more than 10cm to facilitate heat dissipation.

Spare enough space for convenient opening of the doors and drawers or statement by the distributor.

NOTE

This freezer needs to be installed independently and cannot be used as a built-in. Otherwise, it will cause problems such as failure to install into the cabinet, the performance and life of the product are reduced. And the manufacturer does not provide basic product warranty.

2.2 ENERGY SAVING TIPS

• The appliance should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from heat producing appliances or heating ducts, and out of the direct sunlight.
• Let hot foods cool down to room temperature before placing it in the appliance. Overloading the appliance forces the compressor to run longer. Foods that freezes too slowly may lose quality, or spoil.
• Be sure to wrap foods properly, and wipe containers dry before placing them in the appliance. This cuts down on frost build-up inside the appliance.
• Appliance storage bins should not be lined with tin foil, wax paper, or paper toweling. Liners interfere with cold air circulation, making the appliance less efficient.
• Organize and label food to reduce door openings and extended searches. Remove as many items as needed at one time, and close the door as soon as possible

2.3 START TO USE

• The upright freezer shall stay for half an hour before connecting power when it is firstly started.
• The upright freezer shall run 2 to 3 hours before loading fresh or frozen foods; the upright freezer shall run for more than 4 hours in summer in advance considering that the ambient temperature is high.

NOTE

This product is not recommended for use with sockets or main switch with the A/GFCI function, otherwise it may cause false tripping.

2.4 LEVELING FEET

a. Turn the feet clockwise to raise the upright freezer;
b. Turn the feet counterclockwise to lower the upright freezer;
c. Adjust the right and left feet based on the procedures above to a horizontal level.

- Remove all food from door shelves. Fix the door by tapes.

- Dismantle hole caps, the upper hinge cover, fitting screws of upper hinge, and remove the upper hinge, please keep the door vertical in whole process for avoiding falling down

- Dismantle the lower hinge assembly and leveling foot;

• Install the lower hinge and levelling foot on lower left side of cabinet and lower right side respectively;

- Put the door on lower hinge vertically, and validate the gas tightness of door gasket, then install the upper hinge by fitting screws and the hinge cover, finally cover the hole caps on upper right side

2.6 NAMES OF COMPONENTS

- The low temperature of upright freezer may keep food fresh for a long time and it is mainly used to store frozen foods and making ice.

It is the most energy efficient to place food in the position shown in the picture above

• The upright freezer is suitable for storage of meat, fish, shrimp, pastries class and other foods not to be consumed in short term.

- Chunks of meat are preferably to be divided into small pieces for easy access. Please be noted food shall be consumed within the shelf time.

- Drain tray is used for receiving water when defrosting. Please empty the water in the drain tray regularly in case the water overflowing into the cabinet.

2.7 FUNCTIONS

MIN. OFF MAX. NORMAL

• The markings on control knob indicate the "MIN, NORMAL, MAX and OFF" for the different temperature level.
• "MIN." is the warmest setting;
• "MAX." is the coldest setting;
• For normal use, please set the control knob to "NORMAL" position.

Recommended gear: "NORMAL".

3. MAINTENANCE OF REFRIGERATOR

3.1 OVERALL CLEANING

• Dust behind the freezer and on the floor must be cleaned to improve the cooling effect and energy saving.
• Check the door gasket regularly to make sure there is no debris. Clean the door gasket with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water or diluted detergent.
• The interior of the freezer should be cleaned regularly to avoid odors.
• Please turn off the power before cleaning the interior, remove all foods, drinks, shelves, drawers, etc.
• Use a soft cloth or sponge to clean the inside of the freezer, with two tablespoons of baking soda and a quart of warm water. Then rinse with water and wipe clean. After cleaning, open the door and let it dry naturally before turning on the power.
• For areas that are difficult to clean inside the freezer (such as narrow places, gaps or corners), we recommend to wipe them regularly with a soft rag, soft brush, etc. and when necessary, with some tools (such as thin sticks) to ensure no contaminants or bacterial accumulation in these areas.
• Do not use soap, detergent, scrub powder, spray cleaner, etc., as these may cause odors inside the freezer or contaminat food.

- Clean the door tray, shelves and drawers with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water or diluted detergent. Dry with a soft cloth or dry naturally.

- Wipe the outer surface of the freezer with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water, detergent, etc., and then wipe dry.

- Do not use hard brushes, scouring pads, wire brushes, abrasives (such as toothpaste), organic solvents (such as alcohol, acetone, banana oil, etc.), boiling water, acid or alkaline items, which may damage the fridge surface and interior. Boiling water and organic solvents such as benzene may deform or damage plastic parts..

- Do not rinse directly with water or other liquids during cleaning to avoid short circuit or affect electrical insulation after immersion.

Please unplug the freezer for defrost and cleaning.

3.2 DEFROSTING

- Upright freezer shall be manually defrosted.

Disconnect the plug from the wall socket, open the door and remove all the food to a cool place. It is recommended to remove the frost by a plastic scraper, or let the temperature rise naturally until the frost melts. Then wipe away the remaining ice and water, and plug in socket for switching on the freezer.

• Power failure: In case of power failure, even if it is in summer, foods inside the appliance can be kept for several hours; during the power failure, the times of door opening shall be reduced, and no more fresh food shall be put into the appliance.
• Long-time nonuse: The appliance shall be unplugged and then cleaned; then the doors are left open to prevent odor.
• Moving: Before the refrigerator is moved, take all objects inside out, fix the glass partitions, vegetable holder, freezing chamber drawers and etc. with tape, and tighten the leveling feet; close the doors and seal them with tape. During moving, the appliance shall not be laid upside down or horizontally, or be vibrated; the inclination during movement shall be no more than 45°.

IMPORTANT:

The appliance shall run continuously once it is started. Generally, the operation of the appliance shall not be interrupted; otherwise the service life may be impaired

3.4 STOP USING

• Foods can be preserved for a couple of hours even in summer in case of power failure; it is recommended to reduce the frequency of opening door and do not put fresh foods into the upright freezer.
• Please unplug the upright freezer left unused for a long time for cleaning. Keep the door open to avoid the bad odor.
• Do not turn upside or vibrate the upright freezer, the carrying angle can not be greater than 45°. Please hold the door and hinge when moving.inclination during movement shall be no more than 45°.

The appliance shall run continuously once it is started. Generally, the operation of the appliance shall not be interrupted; otherwise the service life may be impaired.

4. TROUBLE SHOOTING

The following simple issues can be handled by the user. Please call the after-sale service department if the issues are not solved.

Not work	Whether the upright freezer is plugged and connected to power;Low voltage;Whether temperature control knob is in the work area;Failure power or tripping circuit.
Odor	Odorous foods should closely wrapped;Whether foods are rotten;Whether the interior shall be cleaned.
Long-term operation of compressor	It is normal that upright freezer operates for longer time in summer when the ambient temperature is higher;Do not put too much food in the upright freezer at one time;Do not put foods until they are cooled;Frequent opening of upright freezer door;Thick frost layer (defrost is needed).
The upright freezer door can not be properly closed	The upright freezer door is stuck by food packages;Too much food;Unbalanced upright freezer.
Loud noises	Whether the floor is flat, whether the placement of upright freezer is stable;Whether the upright freezer accessories are properly placed.
Transient difficulty in door opening	After refrigeration, there will be pressure difference between the inside and outside of the upright freezer to result in transient difficulty in door opening. This is a normal physical phenomenon.
Over heat on sidewall	The upright freezer enclosure may emit heat during operation specially in summer, this is caused by the radiation of the condenser, and it is a normal phenomenon.
Surface condensation	Condensation: condensation phenomenon will be detected on the exterior surface and door seals of the upright freezer when the ambient humidity is large, this is a normal phenomenon, and the condensation can be wiped away with a dry towel.
Airflow soundBuzzClatter	Refrigerants circulating in the refrigerant lines will produce eruption of sound and grunts which is normal does not affect the cooling effect.Buzz will be generated by running compressor specially when starting up or shutting down.The solenoid valve or electric switch valve will clatter which is a normal phenomenon and does not affect the operation.

Installation Instructions

For refrigerating appliances with climate class

Depending on the climate class, this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient temperature ranges as specified following table.

The climate class can be found on the rating plate. The product may not operate properly at temperatures outside of the specified range.

You can find the climate class on the label inside your refrigerator.

How to store for best preservation (applicable models only)

Cover foods to retain moisture and prevent them from picking up odors from other foods. A large pot of food like soup or stew should be divided into small portions and put in shallow containers before being refrigerated. A large cut of meat or whole poultry should be divided into smaller pieces or placed in shallow containers before being refrigerated.

Placement of Foods

Shelves Shelves are adjustable to accommodate a variety of packages.
Specialized compartment (applicable models only)	Sealed crisper drawers provide an optimal storage environment for fruit and vegetables. Vegetables require higher humidity while fruit requires lower humidity Crispers are equipped with control devices to control the humidity level. (*Depending on model and options) An adjustable temperature meat drawer maximizes the storage time of meats and cheeses.
Stored on the door	Don’t store perishable foods in the door. Eggs should be stored in the carton on a shelf. The temperature of the storage bins in the door fluctuate more than the temperature in the cabinet. Keep the door closed as much as possible.
Freezer Compartment	You can store frozen food, make ice cubes and freeze fresh food in the freezer compartment.

NOTE

Freezer fresh, undamaged food only. Keep food which is to be frozen away from food which is already frozen. To prevent food from losing its flavour or drying out, place in airtight containers.
