Using your Garment Steamer

This garment steamer is designed for vertical hanging clothes. To avoid any steam gathering behind the garment when hung, check for breathable room to avoid the garment from collecting moisture and only hang the garment where it will not damage any surface.

  1. Remove water tank and fill with clean distilled water.

Special Notes: Never use the product when empty. Do not fill the tank while still connected to the garment steamer. The water tank must be removed from the garment steamer to fill. We recommend using distilled water with this steamer.

  1. How to add water to the water tank:

Step 1: Place the garment steamer on a clean and dry countertop for the non-slip rubber pads to grip firmly.

Step 2: With your dominant hand, place the thumb and index finger on the release buttons found on each side of the water tank. Note: The middle finger and the ring finger will also be engaged to apply pressure when you are pulling the tank out.

Step 3: Place your other hand on the body of the garment steamer and pull the tank out. Note: This will get easier as you use it.

Step 4: Open the water inlet cover, fill the water tank with distilled water (do not exceed the MAX line).

Step 5: Close the inlet cover and push the water tank back into its position on the garment steamer.

  1. Insert Fabric Brush: WARNING! Only insert the Brush when the steamer is cold. Brush fits on the steamer one way only. With the removal lip section towards the bottom. Press down on the brush to snap into place. (See Parts on Page 4 for details.)

WARNING: Always ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet and allowed to cool (30 minutes) before assembling, disassembling, relocating, or cleaning.

  1. Remove Fabric Brush: WARNING! Only remove the Brush when the steamer is cold. Place one hand on the handle area of the steamer and with the other hand, place your thumb on the fatter part of the Fabric Brush's face and with your index finger on the Removal Lip pull outward (towards you).

WARNING: Always ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet and allowed to cool (30 minutes) before assembling, disassembling, relocating, or cleaning.

  1. Insert the power plug into an outlet.
  2. The red power light will illuminate.
  3. Press the Power Button once, this will turn the steamer on, and the blue indicator light will illuminate and blink. Note: during this time, the temperature of the electric heating plate has not reached its proper

temperature to engage the electromagnetic pump to start the steam, there will be no steam spray until the blue indicator light is solid.

  1. After 30 seconds, the blue light will stop blinking indicating that the temperature for the steamer has been reached and is ready.

  2. Hold the garment steamer horizontally (away from bodily parts, pets, and flammable material) and press down on the trigger action button for 3-5 minutes or for continuous steam, you may lock it by pushing the trigger switch down. Do this step for the first time to clear out any remaining production impurities. If the peculiar smell persists after 5 minutes, continue the release of steam until you are satisfied with the result.

Attention: First use may cause a slight odor or small smoking upon heating, it is normal. This is a result of the heating element being used for the first time.

Steam Settings:

- Trigger Action Button:

Burst of Steam (push down manually) – by using this manual feature, it triggers the electromagnetic pump and generates steam. Once you lift your finger and release the push down button, the steam turns off.

- Trigger Switch:

Continuous Steam (move switch down to lock) – this will trigger the electromagnetic pump to start the steam continuously. Remove finger and release the switch in the down lock position. The product is now continuously steaming. When done, push the switch up and it will unlock. Release your finger and the steam turns off.

Automatic Power Shutoff

This machine will power off after 15 minutes of non-use. To reuse, press the power switch once, and the blinking blue light will illuminate, wait until the blue light stops blinking and proceed.

Use of Fabric Brush

WARNING: Do not attempt to attach or detach any accessories when the appliance is hot. Keep steamer away from faces, human body parts, and flammable material. The steam holes become extremely hot. The risk of burns may occur!

  • To attach fabric brush (align the upper and lower card slots during assembly, and then press inward to easily assemble)
  • After installing the fabric brush into the brush frame, plug into a power outlet and turn on the garment steamer.
  • To smooth away wrinkles on clothes, curtains, blankets, or other home textiles.

For Best Ironing Results

  • When steaming, keep 1-2 inches away from the fabric and move it in different directions to remove wrinkles. Note: if you have stubborn wrinkles, get the steamer closer to the garment where it is close to touching the fabric of the garment.
  • Steam Fabric brush can be used with almost any kind of fabric, including cotton, polyester, and wool. Please read the garment's care label to check that it can be steam ironed. Certain materials such as leather, suede and velvet cannot be steam ironed.
  • To ensure the garment can be steam ironed, test the iron on a small part of the interior of the garment. If no damage occurs, the entire garment can be ironed.
    • Steam will not remove stains from a garment.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Before cleaning the garment steamer in any way, make sure that the appliance is unplugged from the electrical outlet and allow adequate time for the steamer to cool for a minimum of 30 minutes. Store the appliance in a dry, safe place on it's base vertically.
  • Avoid scratching the plate with steel wool or metallic objects.
  • The plastic parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth then wiped over with a dry cloth.
  • Once you allow it to cool, carefully remove the water tank and open the water inlet cover to empty the tank.

NOTE: To extend the life of your appliance, we highly suggest you discard any remaining water after every use. If you leave any remaining water in the tank, this will create mineral deposits and if not maintained regularly (See ‘Removing Mineral Deposits’ below) may cause the Iron to malfunction and stop working. Clean the appliance and accessories only when they have completely cooled.

- Never put detergent, chemicals, salt, perfume, dyes, or any other liquid except water into the water tank. Many of these substances are highly flammable and may cause bodily harm, while certain additives can corrode and clog the iron components. Never add any essential oils to the tank water.

Removing Mineral Deposits

A common problem with steam irons is the accumulation of mineral deposits in the tubes. This normally happens when tap water is used to fill the steamer

Reduce and Remove:

To reduce the buildup of mineral deposits, we highly suggest you ONLY use filtered water, mineral water, or distilled water.

3 Times a Year:

If used regularly without using distilled water, the following steps may help reduce the levels of mineral buildup.

  1. Ensure the appliance is unplugged and cool.

  2. Make a solution that is 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water. Fill tank with solution and turn on the steamer switch and let it steam consecutively for 5 minutes. Once the 5 minutes are up, turn off the continuous steam and remove the Water Chamber and dump the remaining solution into a sink. After 10 hours, it can be filled with clean water and reused.
