ADDITIONAL SAFETY GUIDELINES FOR THIS APPLIANCE

- This appliance is designed only for domestic use. It is not intended for commercial use.

- Do not open the appliance. Do not insert any objects into the openings!

- This product is not intended to be used by individuals (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have received instructions on how to use the device from any such authorised person.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance!

- Using accessories and appliance components that are not expressly recommended by the manufacturer may result in injuries or damage and in loss of warranty.

• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids during cleaning or operation. Do not hold it under running water!
• Never attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Hand over the product for maintenance and repair to an authorised dealer or qualified customer service personnel.
• Use the appliance only in dry indoor areas!
• Never place the product near heat sources, such as fireplace or grill! Keep it away from fire.
• Avoid using it in very humid climate or in a very dry surrounding!
• Do not expose the appliance to extreme heat (more than 40^ ) and cold (under 5 °C) and to direct sunlight.
• The mains voltage has to match the specifications on the type plate.

• Ensure that the appliance is always easy to access and reach.

• Disconnect the mains plug in case of prolonged absence or severe thunderstorms in order to protect the electronics.

• Do not use the appliance if it has fallen down! Have it checked by a technician.
• Protect the housing from damage and do not open the product by yourself. No not attempt to replace any parts or to repair the appliance by yourself.
• Connect the appliance only to a properly installed socket.
• CAUTION! Do not connect the appliance in series!

4. Initial use

Take the appliance out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Check the scope of delivery for completeness and damage.

Connect the appliance to a properly installed socket. Connect a desired device that you want to control with the countdown timer. Proceed as follows to start the countdown:

1. Press the "SET" button once. The first LED then starts glowing. The countdown is now set for one hour.
2. Press the "SET" button twice. The first and second LEDs start glowing simultaneously. The countdown is set for two hours.
3. Press the "SET" button three times. The first three LEDs start glowing simultaneously. The countdown is set for three hours.
4. Press the "SET" button four times. The first four LEDs start glowing simultaneously. The countdown is set for four hours.
5. Press the "SET" button five times. The first five LEDs start glowing simultaneously. The countdown is set for five hours.
6. Press the SET button again to switch the power off.

NOTE: During the countdown, the LEDs glow in succession depending on the countdown time.

5. Cleaning and Care

Before cleaning, disconnect all the connected devices and unplug the product from the socket. Clean the appliance with a soft dry cloth. Never use water for cleaning.

Caution! Ensure that fluids do not get into the housing!

6. Safety instructions and disclaimer

Please do not try to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modifications by yourself. Avoid contact with the mains supply. The appliance is free of current only when disconnected. Please do not short-circuit the product. Do not forget to disconnect the power cord when the appliance is not being used or during thunderstorms. Therefore, please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Never expose the appliance to high outside temperatures. Please do not expose the appliance to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components.

Check the appliance for any damage before using it. The appliance should not be used if it has been subject to impact or has been damaged in some other way.
