Frequently Asked Questions - Ruby MySoda

How to install the CO2 cylinder?
Remove the bottle, unscrew the top part of the appliance, remove the protective cap, then firmly screw in the CO2 cylinder clockwise. Replace everything by turning the top part clockwise until it clicks into place.
How to make sparkling water?
Fill the bottle with cold water up to the fill line. Insert it into the quick lock in a tilted position, then turn it a quarter turn counterclockwise. Press the carbonation button 2 to 3 times until you hear a hiss. Pull the bottle toward you to release pressure, then unscrew it.
What to do if the water bottle cannot be attached?
Make sure the quick lock is tilted forward. Pull the bottle toward you and insert it, then turn a quarter turn counterclockwise to lock.
Why is the water not carbonated enough?
Check that the CO2 cylinder is not empty, the water is cold, and the cylinder is tightly screwed. Use water as cold as possible; CO2 dissolves better in cold water.
How to clean the appliance?
Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth. Never immerse the appliance in water and do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners. Wash the bottle by hand with warm water and mild detergent.
What types of bottles to use?
Use only compatible MySoda water bottles. Never use a damaged, deformed, scratched, or expired bottle (check expiration date in month/year format).
What is the warranty period?
The MySoda Ruby sparkling water maker comes with a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase, for domestic use only. The warranty does not cover defects due to misuse or use of non-approved bottles or cylinders.
Where to buy replacement CO2 cylinders?
MySoda CO2 cylinders are available from authorized dealers. You can also exchange an empty cylinder for a full one, paying only for the gas. Visit www.mysoda.eu to find a dealer.
Is it possible to use other CO2 brands?
No, MySoda recommends using only food-grade CO2 cylinders compatible with the appliance. Never use an adapter for CO2 not intended for beverages, as this may damage the appliance and pose safety risks.
What to do in case of CO2 leak?
Do not touch the cylinder if CO2 is being released. Wait until all CO2 is expelled and the cylinder is at room temperature. Ventilate the room well. If you feel unwell, contact a doctor.
