IMPORTANT SAFETY GUIDELINES FOR THIS APPLIANCE!

• The appliance should be used only for coffee, various cocktails, sauces, baby food, milk shakes, etc.

• Never put your fingers or other objects (hair, clothes, cooking utensils, knives, screwdrivers, etc.) near the axis when the appliance is being used.

• Read all the instructions carefully before using the appliance and keep them in a safe place for future use.

• Do not use the appliance outdoors and keep it away from sources of heat (e.g., electric stove) and direct sunlight.

• Please do not keep the appliance in immediate proximity to water sources (e.g., washbasin).

• Do not use this appliance with wet hands.

• Keep it on an suitable surface so that it does not tip over.
• Disconnect the power plug from the mains socket when the appliance is not being used or for cleaning.
• Operate the product only with the voltage specified on the type plate of the appliance.
• Do not move the appliance when it is being operated.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• This appliance is not intended to be used, cleaned or maintained by people (including children up to the age

of 8 years) with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge. Unless they are supervised by a person who is responsible for their safety or have received instructions from this person about how to use the appliance and have understood the risks involved.

• In the interest of child safety, please do not leave any packaging material (plastic bags, cardboard, polystyrene, etc.) lying around.
• If the power cable is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, his specialist dealer, or an equally qualified person, so as to prevent any risk.
• Do not overfill the shaker, otherwise water may spurt out.

• Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by children, unless they are 8 years of age or older and are supervised. Keep the appliance and its connection cable out of reach of children less than 8 years.

4. Before initial use

• Ensure that the packaging of this appliance has been properly disposed of.
• Keep small parts and plastic bags away from babies and children.
• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth after taking it out of the packaging. Ensure that water does not get into the appliance and never immerse the appliance in water to clean it!
• Ensure that the rated voltage of the connected socket matches the voltage specified on the type plate of the appliance.
• Place the product on a flat and dry surface.
• Ensure that all parts of the appliance are correctly installed before using it.
• Do not switch on the beverage mixer without the jar. Never touch the rotating parts of the appliance!
• Before using the appliance, extend the cable fully and ensure that it is not damaged.
• The appliance is designed only for brief periods of operation (1 minute). Do not use it for more than 1 minute continuously.
• Ensure that you always take a break of 1 minute between each use.

5. Commissioning

Take the appliance out of the packaging and remove all the packaging material. Check the supplied appliance for completeness. Ensure that the On/Off switch is in "Off" (0) position before connecting the mains plug to a suitable and properly installed socket.

Now fill the stainless steel jar with the desired ingredients. Put the On/Off switch to "I" or "II" to select the desired speed. Insert the cup into the holder so that the safety switch is pressed. Alternatively, use the safety cap to activate the switch and mix your drink while holding the cup.

Finally, set the On/Off switch to "0" and allow the appliance to cool down for about 1 minute. Always keep the beverage mixer dry.

Caution! To avoid overheating, the appliance should not be used for more than 1 minute each time!

6. Cleaning and Care

Ensure that you completely switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the socket before you start cleaning and maintenance.

Never immerse the product in water or other liquids! Clean the mixer housing using a slightly damp cloth. To clean the blender, fill the jar with a little water and start blending. Allow the appliance to cool down completely before storing it.

7. Safety instructions and disclaimer

Never try to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The appliance is not approved for outdoor use. Therefore please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures. Do not expose the appliance to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components.

Check the appliance for any damage before using it. The device should not be used if it has been subject to impact or has been damaged in any other manner. Please comply with the local regulations and restrictions. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the user manual. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons. Any repairs or modifications to the appliance not carried out by the original supplier will void any warranty and guarantee claims. The appliance should be used only by persons who have read and understood this user manual. The specifications of the appliance may be changed without special prior notice.

8. Disposal instructions

In line with the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic devices should not be disposed of along with domestic waste. Their components have to be sent separately for recycling or disposal, as improper disposal of toxic and dangerous components may permanently damage the environment. According to the electrical and electronic equipment act (ElektroG), you are obliged (as a consumer) to return (free of charge) all electrical and electronic devices to the manufacturer, the point of sale, or public collection points at the end of their service life. The relevant local laws regulate the details in this regard.
