5 Safety switches

The appliance can be operated only if the blender jar is fixed in place. The jar has to be fixed in place correctly. Only then can the appliance be operated.

6 Brief operation

The appliance is designed only for brief periods of operation. You can use the blender continuously for about 2-3 minutes. After this time, you must allow the motor to cool down for approx. 5 minutes.

7 Setting up

Fix the blade unit onto the blender jar. Then connect the power plug of the appliance into a properly installed power socket.

Place the blender jar with the blade unit onto the base unit. Ensure that it engages properly. Now open the top of the blender jar and put in the desired ingredients.

There is a selector switch with the positions "P", "1" and "2" on the front of the appliance. The positions "1" and "2" are for the blending speed. The position "P" is for the "pulsing" function. The pulse function allows tough or frozen ingredients to be chopped into smaller pieces at high speed. In this way, you can better control the blending time and the consistency and positively influence the final result. Select the desired position of the selector switch. The blender will then start to chop the chosen ingredients into smaller pieces. Adhere to the prescribed operating time. Do not exceed the blending time under any circumstances. If you wish to blend the ingredients by pulsing them in stages, move the selector switch repeatedly back and forth between "P" and "0". This allows you to vary even the pulsing interval. Then remove the blender jar from the base unit.

Note: The appliance is designed only for brief periods of operation. You have to allow the appliance to cool down sufficiently after 2-3 minutes of continuous use before you start again!

8 Cleaning and Maintenance

Unplug the power cord from the outlet. Clean the base unit with a slightly dampened soft cloth. Caution! Do not use liquids to clean the base unit and the power connections. Do not use any aggressive, strong or abrasive cleaning agents.

You can clean the blender jar, the lid and the blade unit in soapy water. The blender jar and the lid can also be cleaned in a dishwasher.

To clean the appliance quickly and immediately after use, fill the blender jar with warm water up to about 60% , add some dishwashing liquid and let the appliance run briefly. After this, take the blender jar and shake it. Finally, rinse only the blender jar and the blade unit using clean water until all residues and traces of the dishwashing liquid are removed.

Allow all parts of the appliance to dry completely.
