The instructions for use are part of this INVICTUS Therma Boost. It contains important information on safety and use. Read the operating instructions carefully, especially the safety instructions, before using the appliance. Failure to observe the operating instructions may result in serious injury or damage to the appliance.
The instructions for use are based on the standards and regulations applicable in the European Union. Please also observe country-specific guidelines and laws abroad. Keep the operating instructions in a safe place for future use. If you pass the appliance on to a third party, be sure to include these instructions for use.

The following symbols and signal words are used in the operating instructions, on the appliance or on the packaging.

Security
Intended use
The INVICTUS Therma Boost is a fan that optimises the distribution of warm heating air in the room and can also be used as a ventilator. It is designed to be mounted on a standard radiator. The temperature of the radiator must not exceed 70°C.
The appliance is intended for domestic use only. It is not suitable for commercial or industrial use.
■Only use the appliance as described in the instructions. Any other use is considered improper use.
Safety instructions

WARNING!
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK OR FIRE
Incorrect electrical installation or excessive mains voltage can lead to electric shocks.
Only connect the appliance if the mains voltage of the socket matches the specification on the rating plate of the power supply unit (not included in the scope of delivery).
■ Only connect the mains adapter (not included in the scope of delivery) to an easily accessible socket so that you can quickly disconnect it from the mains in the event of a fault.
The appliance may only be operated with safety extra-low voltage (SELV).
- Do not use the appliance if it is visibly damaged, has been dropped or the mains cable is defective.
■ Do not use extension cables or multiple sockets.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance.

Never charge the battery at temperatures below 0^ C. Use, charge and store the device at a temperature between 5^ C and 35^ C.

Before first use

NOTE!
RISK OF DAMAGE
If you open the packaging carelessly with a sharp knife or other pointed objects, the appliance may be damaged.
- Check that the delivery is complete. The scope of delivery of the set you have purchased can be found on the packaging.
- Check whether the appliance is damaged. If this is the case, do not use the appliance. Contact the service address specified in the Customer Service section.
■ Fully charge the device.
Commissioning
For optimum results, the appliance should be placed flat and level in the centre of the radiator.
The front edge protrudes over the radiator, but should be as close as possible to the front of the radiator.
There is a safety magnet in the centre of the underside of the appliance. Make sure that this is in contact with the top of the radiator. This reduces the risk of falling.

NOTE!
The appliance was developed for use on radiators with a flat surface. The performance of the device may be lower on radiators with an uneven surface.
The device is compatible with the following radiators:

East iron radiator
■Modern tubular radiators
■individual wall radiators
Not suitable for:
Oil radiators

Electric radiators or fireplaces

- Place the appliance on the radiator.
- Select the appropriate mode.
Selector switch Auto (A) / Manual (M)
■ automatic mode (A), the appliance switches on automatically if the temperature on the radiator is above 33°C or switches off automatically if the temperature is below 33°C.
With manual control (M), you decide yourself when to switch on the appliance.

Indication in the display
■C displays the radiator temperature in °C.
% indicates the charge status of the battery.
■i / Lo → Display for fan speed (HI = high / LO = low).
Cleaning and User maintenance

WARNING!
Risk of electric shock
Switch off the appliance before cleaning or user maintenance and disconnect it from the power supply.
Never hold the appliance under running water and do not immerse it in water or other liquids.
■Before cleaning, make sure that the appliance has cooled down completely.
- Clean the appliance by wiping the surfaces with a damp cloth.
- Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads.
To store the appliance, disconnect it from the power supply and store it in a dry, ventilated place.
Waste disposal
Packaging
The packaging material is recyclable. Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner and take it to the recycling centre.
Electrical appliances

The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol indicates that this product must not be disposed of with normal household waste. Please dispose of electrical and electronic devices via your local take-back system. For more information on the disposal and recycling of this appliance, please contact your local waste disposal service, the shop where you purchased the product or the manufacturer.

Rechargeable batteries and batteries must be removed before disposing of the device and disposed of separately from the device. In the interests of environmental protection, batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with normal household waste, but must be handed in at appropriate collection points. Please inform yourself about the local regulations for the separate disposal of rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
