1 Safety instructions
NOTICE! Damage hazard
- The freedom of movement of semi-trailers (of the outer edges of the semi-trailer when turning or jackknifing) and other vehicle attachments must not be restricted.
NOTE
- Observe the safety instructions in the installation manual for the parking cooler.

Before installing the system, check that all the parts belonging to the scope of delivery are present.
NOTE
The components to fix the compressor unit SP950C or SPX1200C to the fastening frame are included in the compressor unit's scope of delivery.
3 Target group for this manual
The installation information in this manual is only intended for qualified personnel at workshops, who are familiar with the guidelines and safety precautions to be applied during the installation of vehicle accessory parts.
4 Intended use
The fastening frame is used for installing the compressor unit SP950C or SPX1200C for the parking cooler SP950 or SPX1200, respectively, to the following vehicles: MAN TGL/TGM/TGS narrow driver cab. The fastening frame is attached on the left of the rear cab wall.
When fastening the fastening frame, use existing fastening points on the vehicle. You do not need to drill new holes.
This product is only suitable for the intended purpose and application in accordance with these instructions.
This manual provides information that is necessary for proper installation and/or operation of the product. Poor installation and/or improper operating or maintenance will result in unsatisfactory performance and a possible failure.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for any injury or damage to the product resulting from:
- Incorrect assembly or connection, including excess voltage
- Incorrect maintenance or use of spare parts other than original spare parts provided by the manufacturer
• Alterations to the product without express permission from the manufacturer - Use for purposes other than those described in this manual

5 Fitting the fastening frame

Observe the information in the installation manual when fitting the parking cooler.

Basic assembly is described in fig. 1:

Fit the fastening frame and the compressor unit at the MAN TGL/TGM/TGS as follows:
- Insert and tighten the four M8 x 40 bolts, eight washers M8 8.4 x 16 mm, and four M8 self-locking nuts (fig. 1) in the fastening frame for the compressor unit.
- Remove the existing nuts (fig. 2 1) from the fastening of the air intake housing.
- Fasten the fastening frame to the fastening bolts using the three M8 8.4 x 20 mm washers and three M8 self-locking nuts provided (fig. 2 1).
- Attach the fastening frame to the bottom of the bracket with the two M8 x 16 bolts, four U-washers M8 8.4 x 20 mm and two M8 self-locking nuts provided (fig. 22).
- Push the four washers M8 8.4 x 30 mm on the projecting bolts of the fastening frame (fig. 1 1).
- Place the compressor unit on the projecting bolts of the fastening frame and bolt to the four washers M8 8.4 x 16 mm and four M8 self-locking nuts.
- Check that all bolts are still tight after travelling approximately 200 km.
