OPERATION

Caution: The surface becomes very hot! Risk of burns!

The appliance has a high-quality surface. Please take care to cautiously put the kitchenware on it to avoid scratches.
- Use the appliance only with the attached power cord. Connect first the plug into the warming plate inlet. Then put the safety plug into an earthed socket as per rating label. The control lamp turns on and keeps on as long as the appliance is connected to the mains.
- The warming plate reaches the maximum temperature of approx. 100^ C in approx. 5 minutes. Then the power cord can be removed and the appliance can be used as an independent cordless unit. The heat will be kept for about 1 hour. When removing the power cord, first unplug it from the wall socket, then from the warming plate inlet.
- Optionally the appliance may remain connected with the power supply. The integrated thermostat prevents overheating and shuts the appliance off, as soon as the maximum temperature is reached. When the temperature drops, the thermostat will pick up again and will reheat the appliance.
- We recommend to use heat-resisting kitchenware with a flat bottom. Kitchenware with high sides and uneven bottom contact will result in heat losses. Cover the kitchenware with appropriate lids to ensure high heating efficiency.
- Unplug the appliance after use.
CLEANING

Unplug the appliance after usage and before cleaning it. Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning it.
-
Do not immerse the appliance into water or any other liquid.
-
Wipe the surface with a damp cloth.
-
To avoid damaging the non-stick coated plate, do not – under any circumstances – use scouring pads or similar cleaning tools. Do not use any abrasive scouring agents, steel wool, metal objects, hot cleaning agents or disinfectants since these items can damage the appliance.
-
Store the appliance in a dry, dust-free location.
