How to use the egg cooker?

Fill the measuring cup with water up to the desired level (Soft, Medium, Hard) according to the number of eggs. Pour the water into the heating plate. Pierce a small hole in the large end of each egg with the provided pin. Place the eggs on the tray, close the lid, and press the switch. The appliance will automatically shut off and emit an audible signal when cooking is complete.

Why do my eggs crack during cooking?

It is important to pierce a small hole in the large end of the egg using the provided pin before cooking. This allows steam to escape and prevents the eggs from cracking. Make sure the holes are facing upward.

How to clean the appliance?

Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and let it cool. Removable parts (trays, lid, cup) can be washed in the dishwasher or with warm soapy water. The base should never be submerged; wipe it with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

How to prepare poached eggs?

Butter or spray vegetable oil on the poaching tray. Crack an egg into each section. Place the tray on the cooking rack above the heating plate containing water (up to the Medium line). Close the lid and turn on. The appliance beeps when the eggs are ready. Never place the tray directly on the heating plate.

How to make an omelet?

Butter the omelet tray. Beat up to 3 eggs in a bowl with a little water, add ingredients if desired. Pour into the tray. Place the tray on the cooking rack above the heating plate with water (up to the Hard line). Close the lid and turn on. The appliance beeps when cooking is complete.

What to do if the appliance does not turn on?

Check that the appliance is properly plugged into a functional electrical outlet. Make sure the switch is pressed. If the problem persists, consult the warranty policy; do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself.

Can I use an extension cord?

The use of an extension cord is not recommended. If necessary, use an extension cord with a power rating at least equal to that of the appliance (350 W) and install it to avoid tripping hazards.

How to descale the heating plate?

Mix one part white vinegar with ten parts water. Pour the solution onto the heating plate and let it soak for about 30 minutes. Then pour out the liquid and wipe the plate with a damp cloth. Repeat if necessary.

How long does it take to cook hard-boiled eggs?

For 1 to 7 hard-boiled eggs, the cooking time is approximately 13 minutes and 30 seconds. For soft-boiled eggs, allow 6 minutes, and for medium-boiled eggs, 7 minutes and 30 seconds.

Are the parts dishwasher safe?

Yes, removable parts like the egg tray, poaching tray, omelet tray, lid, and measuring cup can be washed in the dishwasher. The base should never be submerged.

- Do not immerse or expose the Base, Power Cord, or Plug of this appliance in water or other liquids.

• The marked electrical rating must be at least as great as that of the appliance.
• If the appliance is of a 3-prong grounding type, the extension cord must be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.

USING YOUR EGG COOKER:

WARNING: Avoid contact with hot surfaces.

IMPORTANT: Please check all packaging material carefully before discarding as there may be accessory parts contained within the packaging material.

- Before your first use, wash the accessories using warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before reassembling.

Attention: First use may cause a slight odor or small smoking upon heating, it is normal. This is a result of the heating element chemical reaction. It quickly goes away.

CAUTION: Do not overfill the appliance or operate it when empty.

SOFT, MEDIUM, AND HARD-BOILED EGGS:

1. Measuring water

• The amount of water required depends on the number of eggs and the degree of hardness/softness desired. The measuring cup marked 3 scales: soft, medium, and hard-boiled. Each scale has the amount of water marked on it. Fill the measuring cup with water up to the appropriate mark.
  • Make sure that the egg boiler is placed in horizontal position.
• Unwind the cable from the base.
• Pour measured amount of water into the boiling plate. The water will heat up to 212° F .

2. Prepare for eggs

• Always use cold eggs. Use the pin on the bottom of the measuring cup to prick a small aperture into an end of the egg. Gently press the pin into the egg.
• Put eggs into tray and put tray on the boiling plate. Close the lid. *Make sure the holes pierced in the eggs are pointing upwards.

3. Boiling eggs

• Put the plug into socket. Turn Switch "ON".
• When all water has evaporated, the built-in thermostat switches off the boiler and the buzzer sounds. Buzzer will sound until switched "OFF".
• Remove the lid carefully. As it is very hot, immediately take out the egg tray and rinse under cold water to prevent overcooking.

POACHED EGGS:

1. Measuring water

- Fill Measuring Cup to the Medium line with cold water and pour onto stainless steel Heating Plate.

2. Prepare for eggs

• Lightly butter or spray vegetable oil on Poaching Tray.
• Break one egg for each poaching section.
• Place Egg Holder over the Heating Plate. Place Poaching Tray on top of Egg Holder.
• CAUTION: Never place Poaching Tray or Omelet Tray directly onto Heating Plate.

3. Cook eggs

• Place Lid on top of the unit and press the POWER Button to turn ON. Indicator Light will illuminate.
• When the Egg Cooker beeps, the eggs will be ready.

OMELETS:

1. Measuring water

- Fill Measuring Cup to the Hard line with cold water and pour onto Heating Plate

2. Prepare for eggs

• Lightly butter or spray vegetable oil on Omelet Tray.
• Break up to 3 eggs into a separate bowl and mix. Add water to desired omelet consistency. If desired, add non-meat ingredients (i.e., chives, mushrooms,). Pour beaten mixture into Omelet Tray.
• Place Egg Holder over the Heating Plate. Place Omelet Tray on top of Egg Holder.
• CAUTION: Never place Poaching Tray or Omelet Tray directly onto Heating Plate.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance, disconnect the appliance and let it cool.
• Clean the outside of the appliance with a sponge or slightly wet clothe.

• The parts (removable) in contact with food like the egg holder and poacher can be washed in hot water with sponge and soft detergent or put in the dishwasher.

• Never plunge the appliance in water or all other liquid!

• Do not use abrasive cleaners, gritting, or metal brush or another cutting object.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water
• When excessive scales are deposited on the cooking plate, normal household vinegar can be used to remove the scales. Dilute the vinegar with water (add 1 part vinegar to 10 parts of water). Pour the solution onto the cooking plate. Allow soaking for about 30 minutes. Then pour way the liquid. Wipe the cooking plate clean with a moistened towel.

PROBLEM	CAUSE	POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Power Indicator Light is already ON after plugging into power outlet.	The Power Button was unintentionally pushed to ON prior to plugging into power outlet.	You cannot push the Power Button again to turn the egg cooker OFF. Fill Measuring Cup to "Soft" line, pour into Heating Plate and plug the Cooker into power outlet. The Egg Cooker will cycle through and power OFF automatically once all water has evaporated. The Power Indicator Light will turn off. Allow the unit to rest/cool for 5 minutes and proceed to follow the instructions in this manual to use as normal.
There are brown stains on the Heating Plate.	Residue from usage.	Use a paper towel or a dish rag and whit vinegar to clean the Heating Plate.
Eggs are overcooked or undercooked.	Not enough water was used.	Be sure to use Measuring Cup for appropriate amount of water. If eggs are overcooked, be sure to remove the eggs promptly when unit beeps. If eggs are undercooked, your eggs may be XL or very cold, use additional water and leave eggs in the Egg Cooker for an extra few minutes after unit beeps.
