When using this or any other electrical appliance, always follow these basic safety precautions, especially when children are present.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
WARNING-To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, serious personal injury and property damage please note the following:
- This appliance is not intended for use by children. Keep the appliance out of reach of children and pets. Extra caution is necessary when using this appliance near children.
- Always ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet and allowed to cool before assembling, disassembling, relocating, or cleaning.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is in use. Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet when not in use.
- Do not immerse or expose the Base, Power Cord, or Plug of this appliance in water or other liquids.
- Do not use attachments not recommended or sold by the Manufacturer.
- Do not place appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in a heated oven, or other heated surfaces.
- Use extreme caution when moving an appliance containing food or liquids.
- Use the product in a well-ventilated area. Keep at least 4-6 inches of space on all sides of the product to allow adequate air circulation.
- Use appliance on a table or sturdy flat surface. Keep the appliance away from curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dishtowels, or other flammable materials.
- Do not plug or unplug the appliance from the outlet with wet hands.
- This appliance is intended solely for non-commercial, non-industrial, household use in cooking of food for human consumption; do not use the product outdoors or for any other purpose.
- Do not operate the appliance empty.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter where it may be tripped over or pulled. Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces.
- Do not operate the appliance if it has a damaged power cord or plug, if wires are exposed, if it malfunctions, if it is dropped or damaged, or if the motor housing is dropped in or exposed to water.
- This appliance has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to examine or repair this appliance yourself. Please review the Warranty Policy on Page 6.
- Do not put any stress on the power cord where it connects to the appliance, as the power cord could fray and break.
- This Blender has a pulse feature with the "Off" button. To shut off completely please disconnect from power supply.
- A scraper may be used but only when the blender is not running.
- To reduce the risk of injury, never place blade assembly on base of without securing it properly.
- Do not blend hot liquids. Do not use the Jar if it has been damaged.
- Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands and utensils away from the Blender while in use to reduce the risk of injury. Blades are extremely sharp, handle with care.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: Do not use for Ice Crushing only or overfill with frozen fruits. Make sure you have filled with at least 1 cup of liquid before adding frozen solids.
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product, but if one must be used:
- The marked electrical rating must be at least as great as that of the product.
- Arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over or pulled.
WARNING: This product is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other blade) to reduce the risk of electrical shock. This is a safety feature. The plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one was if you are unable to insert the plug

into the electrical outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless you can fully insert the plug into the extension cord. Do not alter the plug. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.
Tamper Resistant Screw:
Warning: This Blender is equipped with a tamper-resistant screw to prevent the removal of the outer cover. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not attempt to remove the outer cover. There are no user serviceable parts inside. Repair should only be done by authorized service personnel. Please review the Warranty Policy on Page 6.
Before First Use
IMPORTANT: Please check all packaging material carefully before discarding as there may be accessory parts contained within the packaging material.
WARNING: Before your first use, wash the Glass Jar, Filler Cap, Lid, and Blade Assembly using warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

Parts: Lid & Filler Cap 30ml 1oz Plastic Jar 50 oz. Capacity 2 Speed Dial + Pulse Blade Assembly - Blade - Gasket - Base Screw Non-Skid Feet and Cord Storage BrentwoodBlender Jar assembly is as follows:
- Turn the Blending Jar upside down and place on a flat surface. Add the Blade to the Base Screw and top with the Rubber Gasket to make the Blade Assembly.
- Place the Blade Assembly between the Plastic Jar. Turn the Base clockwise until it is tightly secured.
- Turn the assembled jar right side up. You may choose to add water to the jar over a sink to make sure the base was positioned correctly and does not have leakage.
Using Your Blender:
WARNING: Avoid contact with moving parts.
- Place the Motor Base on a clean, flat surface. Fill your Plastic Jar with your favorite ingredients; do not fill past the Max line.
CAUTION: Add liquids first and do not overfill the product or operate it when empty.
- Insert the Plastic Jar into the Motor Base. Add the lid with the Filler Cap in place.
Note: The Filler Cap allows you to add ingredients while blending.
- Connect Plug to a 120 V AC electrical outlet. Blend until desired consistency is reached. Use the Speed Guide from Page 3. Do not pulse for more than 1 minute.
Attention: First use may cause a slight odor or small smoking upon heating, it is normal. This is a result of the heating element chemical reaction. It quickly goes away.

When you have finished blending, turn the dial to "0" to turn off. Make sure the blades have come to a complete stop before attempting to remove the jar from the base. To Remove the Jar, lift the Jar from the base.

Remove the lid and serve.
Blending Tips:
- When blending thick mixtures such as smoothies, power drinks or milkshakes; press the pulse button several times to begin the blending process.
- Filler cap should only be removed to add ingredients. Do not remove the lid while the blender is in use.
- Large foods should be chopped before placing into blender.
- While the appliance is OFF you can use a rubber spatula to scrape the sides of the jar. Make sure you remove all utensils before continuing. Place Lid back and blend.
- The Lid cap holds up to 30ml of liquid and can be used to measure when adding ingredients.
- Please do not use your blender to make Bread Crumbs, Grinding Coffee Beans, and Chopping Nuts, Whipping Cream, Beating Egg whites, Mixing Dough, Mashing Potatoes, Grinding Meats or Extracting Juice.
- When using the Pulse function use short bursts. Allow the blades to stop completely between pulses. Do not Pulse for more than 1 minute.
- It is recommended to begin blending at a low speed and gradually increasing, if necessary.
- If you blend warm ingredients that are still steaming, remove the filler cap but cover the opening with a cloth to avoid splattering and only blend on the lowest speed.
- Do not blend any of the following products in your blender: Large pieces of Frozen Food, Raw Turnips, Sweet Potatoes, Potatoes, Bones, Hard Raw Meats, or Boiling Liquids (allow to cool for 5 minutes).
- Do not operate blender without the lid.
- Do not store food in the Jar.
- Do not use blender if the Jar is chipped or cracked.
Cleaning Your Blender:
WARNING: Always unplug the product and allow it to cool before cleaning or storing it. Allow the Blades to come to a complete stop before removing Jar from base.
- Only the Blending Jar, Lid, Filler Cap, and Blade Assembly can be washed under running water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or pads.
- Handle blades with extreme caution. You may use a small nylon bristle brush to remove food that has adhered to the Blade assembly.
- It is recommended to rinse parts immediately after use to make cleaning easier.
- The motor base may be wiped with a soft damp cloth.
NOTE: NEVER IMMERSE THE BASE
- Dry all parts thoroughly before storing in a cool, dry place, away from reach of children.

THIS WARRANTY APPLIES TO PRODUCTS PURCHASED AND USED IN THE CONTINENTAL U.S. AND CANADA ONLY. This is the only express warranty for this product and is in lieu of any other warranty or condition. This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. During this period, your exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of this product, at our option; however, you are responsible for all costs associated with returning the product to us and our returning a product or component under this warranty to you. If the product or component is no longer available, we will replace with a similar one of equal or greater value. This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse.
THIS WARRANTY EXTENDS ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL CONSUMER PURCHASER. KEEP THE ORIGINAL SALES RECEIPT, AS PROOF OF PURCHASE IS REQUIRED TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM.
This warranty is void if the product is used for other than single-family household use or subjected to any voltage and waveform other that a specified on the rating label (E.G., 120V\~60Hz). We exclude all claims for special, incidental, and consequential damages caused by breach of express or implied warranty. All liability is limited to the amount of the purchase price. Every implied warranty, including any statutory warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is disclaimed except to the extent prohibited by law, in which case such warranty or condition is limited to the duration of this written warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other legal rights that vary depending on where you live. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or special, incidental, or consequential damages, so the foregoing limitations may not apply to you. To make a warranty claim do not return this appliance to the store.
