NOTE: Do not put the paper roll or wooden stick inside the transparent part, this action can get you burned.

  1. Turn off the appliance when all the sugar has been dispensed. Wait until the extractor head has come to a complete stop, you can pour another spoon of sugar in the extractor head and begin again. The cotton candy maker should be flowing more quickly as the unit is warmed up sufficiently.

Important! The appliance is subject to overheating if used more than 30 minutes at a time. Therefore, it must be allowed to cool for at least 10 minutes for every 30 minutes of use. Overheat may pose a fire hazard.

  1. Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down completely before disassembling it for cleaning.

Important! Inspect the heating elements during cleaning to ensure that they are free from any sugar residue before reusing. If there is any sugar residue left on the heating elements, pull out the plug and allow the product to cool. Then scrap any residue away with a wooden or plastic instrument. Any residue left on the heating elements may pose a fire risk.

NOTE: The cotton candy is made by heating sugar. This turns sugar into a liquid form. Then the sugar liquid is forced out of tiny holes in the extractor head by centrifugal force as the extractor head spins. As the liquid sugar hits the air it returns to a solid fluffy material that adheres to a paper cone, or wooden stick.

It is very important that the unit will be cleaned properly after each use. If it is not, the holes will get clogged and sugar will not be able to sift through the tiny holes properly.
