BEFORE THE FIRST USE

- Check if all accessories are included and if the appliance is not damaged.

- First let water run through the appliance, without adding coffee. To do so, fill the water tank up to the maximum level, switch on the coffee maker and let the water run through completely. Dispose of the water and repeat one or two times. Afterwards, clean the filter, filter holder, carafe and lid of the carafe thoroughly with warm water.

USE

  1. Open the lid of the appliance, and use the glass jug to add the required amount of water to the water reservoir. Do not exceed the maximum mark.
  2. Insert a paper filter (size 4) into the filter holder. Or use the included reusable filter.
  3. Add the desired amount of ground coffee to the filter. Close the lid.
  4. Insert the glass carafe horizontally into the coffee maker. Put it on the keep-warm plate, under the drip stop.
  5. Plug the power cord into the outlet and press the on/off button. The indicator light will light up and the coffee maker will start brewing. You can remove the carafe from the coffee maker at any chosen time for a maximum of 30 seconds to pour coffee. The appliance will stop dripping automatically.

  7. Always make sure that the coffee maker is switched off and unplug the power cord from the outlet when the appliance is not in use.

  8. The final amount of coffee will always be a little less than the amount of water you put in, because the coffee absorbs water.

  9. Be careful while pouring, the coffee is hot right after brewing.
  10. For safety reasons it is considered wise to keep the lid on the carafe. This way the coffee also stays warm.
  11. The device will keep the coffee warm for up to 40 minutes. Afterwards, the device will shut off automatically. To maintain an optimal coffee taste, it is best to serve the coffee right after brewing.
