PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE.

Before connecting the kettle to the power supply, check that the voltage indicated on the appliance (underside the kettle & base) corresponds with the voltage in your home. If this is not the case, contact your dealer and do not use the kettle.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.

Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.

The attached base can not be used for other than intended use.

Make sure to have filled in the kettle with clean water before use.

Do not let the cord hang over edge of table counter or touch hot surface.

Do not place on or near a gas or electrical burner, or a heat source.

If the kettle is operated without water, the dry boil protection will automatically reset to stop operation. If that were to happen, allow the appliance to cool completely before filling it with cold water.

Make sure that the appliance is used on a flat and stable surface, out of the reach of children.

To protect against a fire, electric shock or personal injury, do not immerse cord, electric plugs or kettle in water or other liquids.

The outside surface of the kettle may get hot during use, be careful not to touch it to avoid burns. Use only the handle or button.

Be especially careful when moving an appliance containing hot water.

The use of accessories that are not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.

Avoid touching the steam from the kettle spout when the water is boiling or just after the kettle stops.

WARNING: DO NOT REMOVE THE LID WHILE THE WATER IS BOILING.

Unplug the apparatus from the wall outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the appliance to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning it.

When the water is boiling, do not lift the lid and make sure it is securely closed to avoid burns.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- Do not use the kettle for any purpose other than that intended for it.
- Do not move the kettle when it is switched on.
- The kettle is only to be used with the stand provided.
- If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

- By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;

This appliance has been incorporated with a grounded plug. Please ensure the wall outlet in your house is well earthed.

The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- Regarding the instructions for cleaning the appliance, thanks to refer to the below paragraph "cleaning" in manual.
- The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use. Do not touch these surfaces to avoid burning yourself.
- CAUTION: INSURE THAT THE APPLIANCE IS SWITCHED OFF BEFORE REMOVING IT FROM ITS STAND.

BEFOREUSING YOURKETTLE
If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended that you should clean your kettle before use by boiling the Max capacity of water once and then discarding the water twice. Wipethesurface with adamp cloth.
NOTE: The max capacity of kettle is 1.7L.
- Placethekettleontheflatsurface.
- To fill the kettle, remove it from the power base and open the lid bypassing down lid
releasebutton, thenfillthekettlewiththe desired amountofwaterandclosethelid.
The water level must be within the Maxlevel. Tool little water will cause the kettleswitching off before the water has boiled.
NOTE: Do not fill the water over them a maximum level, a water mayspill out of the spout when boiling. Ensure that the lid is firmly in place before plugging the power outlet.
- Position the kettle on the power base.
- Connect the plug into a power outlet. Press down the switch hand the indicator will light up, and then the kettle start to boil the water. The kettle will switch automatically once the water has boiled. If necessary, it will take you 30 seconds to wait before pressing the switch against - boil the water. You may shutoff the power by lifting switch up or directly lift the kettle from the power base at anymoment to stop boiling process.
NOTE: Ensure that switch his free of obstructions and the lid is firmly closed, the kettle will not turn off if the switch if be constrained or if the
lid isopening.
- Lift the kettle from the power base and then pourthewater.
NOTE: Operate carefully when pouring the water from your kettle as boiling water may result in scald, besides, don't openthelid while the water in the kettle ishot.
- The kettle will not tre-boil until the switch is pressed again. The kettle may be stored on the powerbasewhennotinuse.
NOTE: Always disconnect the powersupply when not use.
BOIL-DRYPROTECTION
Should you accidentally let the kettle operate without water, the function of boil-dry protection will automatically switch the power. If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool prior to filling with cold water before re-boiling.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always disconnect the appliance from the
poweroutletandcoolitdowncompletely beforecleaning.
- The appliance must not be immersed.
- Wipe the appearance of body with a damp cloth or cleaner, never use a poisonous cleaner.
- Remember to clean the filter at intervals. For easier cleaning, detach the filter by pressing down the tab of filter inside the kettle and then replace it after cleaning.
CAUTION: Donotusechemical,steel, woodenorabrasivecleanerstocleanthe outside of the kettle to prevent the gloss loss.
- Whennotuseorstorage, the power cord may bewind underthe bottom of kettle.
REMOVALOFMINERALDEPOSITS
Your kettleshould be periodically descaled as the mineral deposits in tap water may form scale on the bottom of kettle so as to cause
the operationlessefficiency.You can use the commercially available escaler and follow the instructions on the package of descaler. Alternatively, you may follow below instructions using the white vinegar.
- Fill the kettle with 3 cup of white vinegar, then adding waterto the amount so a sto cover the bottom of kettle completely. Leave the solution in the kettle overnight.
- Thendiscard themixtureinthekettle,then filling the kettle with clean waterto the maximum position,boiling and thendiscard the water.Repeatseveral timesuntiltheodor ofvinegarhasbeenflushesaway.Anystains remaining inside the spout can be removed by rubbing withadampcloth.
