ESSENZA MINI MY MACHINE NESPRESSO®Nespresso, an exclusive system creating the Espresso, time after time.
All machines are equipped with a unique extraction system that guarantees up to 19 Bar pressure. Each parameter has been calculated with great precision to ensure that all the aromas can be extracted, to give the coffee body and create an exceptionally thick and smooth crema.

- This appliance is intended to be used to prepare beverages according to the instruction manual. Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.

WARNING

Only wall sockets rated at 15 A or more at 100 VAC must be used for the appliance alone.
Do not plug any other electrical devices into the same socket as the appliance. Doing so may overheat it and possibly cause a fire.

Do not use extension cords or various kinds of power strips. Otherwise, overheating or a fire may result.

Be sure to plug the power plug into the wall socket after you have installed your Nespresso machine.

Regularly wipe dust off the power plug and wall socket.
Unplug the power plug and wipe off any dust using a dry soft cloth. If any dust has accumulated, a fire may result.

Do not damage the power plug and/or power cord.
Otherwise, an electric shock or fire may result.
- Do not damage or modify the power plug and/or power cord.
- Keep the power cord away from surfaces that may become hot or any other heat sources.
- Do not forcibly bend, twist, or bundle the cord.

If the power plug or power cord is damaged, contact the Nespresso Club (see Page 16).

WARNING
Never attempt to use the appliance if it is damaged or malfunctioning. Otherwise, an electric shock or fire may result.
Unplug the appliance immediately if it becomes abnormally hot, makes any strange noises, or if it begins to emit smoke.

CAUTION
Always fully close the lever to keep the capsule inlet closed except when inserting capsules or during the emptying mode.
Leaving the capsule inlet open may allow foreign objects or dirt to enter the appliance. Do not use the appliance without the capsule container, drip base, drip tray, and drip grid.
Otherwise, coffee or hot water may overflow and lead to burns, or damage tables and countertop surfaces.
Be sure to use Nespresso capsules. This appliance is designed exclusively for Nespresso coffee capsules. Using other coffee capsules may cause the appliance to malfunction.
Never use a damaged or deformed capsule. Otherwise, appliance malfunction may result.
Do not touch hot capsules after use because they will still be hot. Otherwise, burns may result.
Dispose of capsules after use.
They are not reusable. Reusing them may allow bacteria to grow, which may make you sick.
If a capsule is blocked inside the machine, do not attempt to repair it by yourself.
Otherwise, appliance malfunction may result. Turn the machine off and unplug it before calling Nespresso Club (see Page 16) for repair.
Only use cold, fresh tap or filtered water to fill the water tank. Do not use hot water or other liquids (such as milk). Otherwise, appliance malfunction may result.
Always use fresh water to fill the water tank. Change the water in the tank at least once a day.

② Lift the lever completely and insert the capsule.
③ Close the lever and place a cup under the coffee outlet.
⚠️ Never lift the lever during operation and refer to the important safeguards to avoid possible harm when operating the appliance.
4 Press the Espresso (40 ml / 1.35oz, Small, Left side) or the Lungo (110 ml / 3.72oz, Large, Right side) button to start. Preparation will stop automatically. To stop the coffee flow or top up your coffee, press again.
5 Remove the cup. Lift and close the lever to eject the capsule into the used capsule container.

To keep cleanness and good quality coffee, we recommend to run through machine according to instructions on page 7 "First use or after a long period of non-use" section ①-④ before 1st Cup serving and after last cup serving in a day.

3 Pour 1 Nespresso descaling liquid sachet into the water tank. Fill the water tank up to the 0.6L / 20.3oz line with potable water.
4 Place a container (min. volume 1L/33.8oz) under the coffee outlet.
5 To enter the descaling mode, while the machine is turned on, press both the Espresso (Small, Left side) and Lunge buttons (Large, Right side) for 5 seconds.

7 Press the Lungo button and wait until the water tank is empty.

9 Empty and rinse the water tank. Fill with potable water.
When ready, repeat steps 4 and 7 to now rinse the machine. Repeat twice.
To exit the descaling mode, press both the Espresso (Small, Left side) and Lungo buttons (Large, Right side) for 5 seconds.

Terms and conditions for free-of-charge repairs
- This appliance is only designed for Nespresso capsules.
- Nespresso will repair the product for no charge to the owner if it malfunctions during normal use and in compliance with the instruction manual and warning labels attached thereto.
- If your Nespresso machine malfunctions during the warranty period and you intend to have it repaired free of charge, contact Nespresso Club to request repair services. You may be asked to provide a copy of this Warranty.
- Repairs will be charged under the following conditions.
(1) Malfunction or damage resulting from misuse.
(2) Damage to the product resulting from service and/or repairs carried out by a person that has not been authorized by Nespresso.
(3) Malfunction or damage resulting from the use of non-genuine Nespresso capsules.
(4) Malfunction or damage resulting from the reuse of used capsules.
(5) Malfunction or damage resulting from use in commercial or non-residential household premises or in vehicles or boats.
(6) Malfunction or damage resulting from use with an electricity supply that does not meet the requirements specified in the instruction manual.
(7) Malfunction or damage resulting from use in countries other than Japan.
(8) Malfunction or damage resulting from transporting, moving, or dropping the appliance after purchase.
(9) Malfunction resulting from normal wear and tear.
(10) Malfunction or damage attributable to fire, earthquake, flooding, lightning strikes, any other natural disasters, pollution, or abnormal voltages.
(11) If a copy of the warranty requested by us has not been submitted.
(12) If the certificate does not bear the date of purchase and name of the dealer, or if any alterations whatsoever have been made to the warranty certificate.
* This Warranty will not be reissued. Please keep it in a safe place.
* This Warranty certificate guarantees free-of-charge repairs to the owner within the time period and according to the terms and conditions provided herein. This Warranty does not limit your statutory rights.
* After the valid warranty period, if we determine that it is possible to repair the appliance after diagnosis, we will repair it at your request.
Repair costs include:

Labor charges: Cost of diagnosis, repairing, adjustments, inspection, and other necessary work
Shipping charges: Cost of picking up the malfunctioning product for repair from a customer via parcel delivery service and cost of delivering the repaired product to the customer via parcel delivery service

* The retention period of service parts whose warranty period has expired is five years after the discontinuation of manufacturing.
* This warranty is only valid in Japan.
* Depending on the degree of damage or contamination caused by significant breakage or wear, or malfunction or damage caused by inappropriate repairs or modifications, it may not be possible to repair the appliance.
* Please contact Nespresso Club to request repairs or if you have any questions about using your Nespresso machine.
* Nespresso will only use the personal information that is provided by the customer when requesting repairs for the purposes of carrying out repairs and providing other services provided for in the warranty provisions and will not disclose such information to any third parties without your prior consent. However, when we delegate all or part of the service to a third party, we may disclose such information to such a third party to the extent that is required for them to perform delegated tasks. We will use personal information of customers registered with Nespresso Club to the extent that Nespresso Club establishes separately.
