This appliance is intended for domestic household use only and should not be used for any other purpose or in any other application, such as for non-domestic use or in a commercial environment.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

The surfaces are liable to get hot during use.

The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Unplug oven from the mains socket when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before cleaning or handling.
  2. To avoid burns, use extreme caution when removing tray/rack or disposing of hot grease.
  3. Do not place paper, cardboard, plastic in the oven.
  4. Oversize foods and metal utensils must not be inserted in the oven as they may cause a risk of fire or electric shock.
  5. A fire may occur if the oven is covered or touching flammable materials such as curtains, drapes or wooden panels when in operation.
  6. Do not store any items on top of the oven when in operation.
  7. The appliance must be used in a well-ventilated room.
  8. The rear surface of appliance shall be placed against a wall.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Remove all packaging materials and wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth. Wash the baking rack and tray in warm soapy water. Dry thoroughly before using.

Place the oven on a stable flat surface. Be sure that no other appliances are plugged into the same circuit with the oven.

If your oven has a rotisserie function. It will operate simultaneously with the grill position.

After cooking

When cooking is complete turn the function knob to the "O" position. When removing food from the oven, use an oven glove.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Unplug the appliance from the mains socket and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.

Wash the baking trays, skewer set and rack in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry them thoroughly before use.

Never use abrasive or chemical cleaning agents.

Surfaces in contact with food should be cleaned regularly to avoid cross contamination from different types of food, the use of hot clean water with a mild detergent is advisable when dealing with surfaces that come into contact with food.

Correct food hygiene practices should always be followed at all times to avoid possibility of food poisoning /cross contamination.

For models with hot plate:

Do not touch any part of the hot plates with bare hands or with any other tool when they are in operation.

To clean the hot plates disconnect the oven from the power and wait for the oven to cool. Do not scratch the surface of the hot plates to clean it.

The correct placement of cooking accessories like pot, saucepan, etc. on the hot plates are shown below.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

  1. Remote controls, drain intake rubbers, dockings and door seals, weather stripping.

  2. Damage to enamels, paints, nickel plating, chrome plating, oxidation or other types of aesthetic parts or components that do not affect the internal functioning of the appliance.

  3. Damage to wear parts due to use, corrosion or oxidation, whether caused by normal use of the appliance or accelerated deterioration due to unfavorable environmental or climatic circumstances. Not suitable for outdoor use.

  4. Damage to fragile pieces of glass, glass ceramic, plastics, handles, baskets, doors or light bulbs when their failure or breakage is not attributable to a manufacturing defect.

  5. Faults produced by fortuitous causes or accidents of force majeure, or as a consequence of abnormal, negligent or inappropriate use of the device.

  6. Civil liabilities of any nature.

  7. Consequential damage to the appliance as long as it has not been caused by an internal malfunction.
