How to insert the SIM card and microSD card on the Moto G54 5G?

Use the provided tool to open the tray on the side. Insert the Nano SIM card with the gold contacts facing down. For the microSD card, place it in the designated slot. Gently close the tray.

How to activate the eSIM?

The Moto G54 5G (single physical SIM model) supports eSIM. Contact your operator to get a QR code or activation. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIM cards to add the eSIM.

What to do if my phone becomes unresponsive?

Press and hold the Power button until the screen turns off and the phone restarts. If the problem persists, contact Motorola support.

Put the cards in and power on

1 Insert the SIM tool into the hole next to the tray to pop out the tray.

Note: make sure that you use the correct size of SIM card and don't cut the SIM card.

2 Insert the SIM card(s) with the gold contacts down, then gently push the tray into the slot.

Add a microSD card micro (optional, sold separately) for additional storage.

eSIM option (only for models with one physical SIM): your phone may have an eSIM (embedded SIM card) in addition to the physical SIM card. Contact your service provider for details if you want to activate and use it.

3 Press and hold the power button to turn on your phone, then follow the prompts to get started.

Note: to turn off your phone, press the power and volume up buttons at the same time.

Use of other chargers is not recommended and may impair the charging performance. Don't charge your phone in temperatures below -20°C or above 45°C. Chargers that do not comply with applicable national standards may be unsafe, with risk of death or injury, and may cause slow charging or product damage. Warning about high volume usage. To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods. When your headset volume reaches the high volume threshold, a warning will be shown. Tap OK to dismiss it, or w to five seconds, then press the volume up button to dismiss t and enable the volume to continue to be adjusted.
