How to assemble the feet of the Orbegozo CV 1300 radiator?

Carefully turn the appliance over. Attach the two feet using the four screws provided, making sure to place them in the lateral hollow parts at the bottom of the radiator. Use the small screws to fix the upper supports.

What power settings are available?

The radiator has two switches to select 750 W, 1250 W or 2000 W (both on). The switches light up when the heating elements are active.

How to adjust the thermostat?

Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to maximum to heat. When the desired temperature is reached, turn gently counterclockwise until you hear a 'click': the radiator turns off and maintains the temperature automatically.

The radiator emits an odor or smoke during first use, is this normal?

Yes, a slight odor and smoke may appear during first use or after a long period of inactivity. This disappears after a few minutes of operation.

How to clean the radiator?

Unplug the appliance and let it cool. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth, then dry with a dry cloth. Do not use cleaning or abrasive products and avoid water entering the interior.

Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.

General

1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.

ASSEMBLY OF THE HEATER

Fitting the feet:

• Carefully turn the unit upside down.
• Use 4 screws for feet to fix the 2 feet onto the heater.
• Take care to ensure that they are located correctly in the bottom ends of the heater side mouldings.

- Use 2 plastic wall plugs and 2 screws (long one) to fix the below left and right brackets onto the Wall.

NOTE: It is normal when the heaters are turned on for the first time or when they are turned on after having not been used for a long period of time the heaters may emit some smell and fumes. This will disappear when the heater has been on a short while.

- Choose a suitable location for the heater, taking into account the safety instructions above.

- Insert the plug of the heater into a suitable socket.

- Turn THERMOSTAT KNOB fully in a clockwise direction to the maximum setting.

- Turn on the heating elements by means of HEATER SWITCHES on the side panel. When the heating elements are on the switches will illuminate. For maximum heat output both switches should be on.

- When the desired room temperature has been reached, the thermostat knob should be turned slowly anti-clockwise until the thermostat is heard to click off and the lights on the element switches are seen to go out. After this the heater will keep the air temperature in the room at the set temperature by switching on and off automatically.

CLEANING THE HEATER

■ Always un-plug the heater from the wall socket and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
■ Clean the outside of the heater by wiping with a damp cloth and buff with a dry cloth.
- Do not use any detergents or abrasives and do not allow any water to enter the heater.

STORING THE HEATER

- When the heater is not used for long periods of time it should be protected from dust and stored in a clean dry place.
