Frequently Asked Questions - Cookcentre 110T BELLING

What is the minimum distance between the hob and the hood?
The minimum safety distance is 650 mm. If the gas hob manual specifies a greater distance, that takes precedence.
How to clean the grease filters?
The aluminium grease filters should be cleaned every 2 months of operation (or more often if used intensively). They can be washed in the dishwasher.
When should the charcoal filter be replaced?
The activated charcoal filter cannot be washed and should be replaced approximately every 4 months or more frequently with heavy use.
What speeds are available and how to use them?
The hood has 3 speeds (buttons 1, 2, 3) and a stop. Button T1 always goes to first speed before stopping the motor. The light turns on/off with a separate button.
Can I use the hood with a gas cooker?
Yes, but ensure adequate ventilation of the room to prevent backflow of combustion gases. The negative pressure must not exceed 0.04 mbar.
What if the power cord is damaged?
The cord must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized technician to avoid any danger.
Is the hood suitable for external extraction?
Yes, the extraction rate is given for external extraction. The duct must have a minimum diameter of 120 mm and be as short as possible.
Can I install the hood myself?
The electrical installation must be carried out by a qualified technician. Strictly follow local regulations and the safety distance.
How to maintain the LED lighting?
Replacement LED lamps are available from customer service. They belong to risk group 1 according to IEC/EN62471.
What to do in case of malfunction?
First consult the full manual. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.
