I ELECTRICAL WARNINGS

  • In order to avoid a hazard this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer or a separate remote control, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and o by the utility.

I CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Never add milk above the maximum level marked on the appliance.
  • Do not spill any liquid on the connector.
  • Only use the utensils delivered with the appliance.
  • Always use the appliance on a rm, dry, even and heat- resistant surface.
  • The milk jug is not suitable for use in the microwave oven.
  • Do not add any ingredients to the milk jug while the appliance is in operation.
  • Do not remove the cover while the appliance is in operation.
  • Do not use the appliance when empty.
  • To avoid risk of injury, do not touch moving parts.
  • Remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers before using the appliance for the rst time.
  • Clean the milk jug with warm water before use.
  • There may be a slight odour from the non-stick coating when using the appliance for the rst time. This is normal.

1. Place the base on a rm, dry, even and heat-resistant surface.

2. Take the lid o the milk jug. Select the desired accessory and place the accessory on the shaft in the

centre of the milk jug.

7. The appliance will start working and you can see the accessory rotating. When the program is

nished (+/- 2 min.), the appliance will automatically turn o. The indicator light behind the control ashes. If you want the appliance to stop working before the selected program is nished, press the previously selected button again.

8. When the appliance is ready, remove the jug from the appliance with the handle. Remove the

lid. Rotate the milk jug to mix the milk and foam and then pour the milk. Unplug the power cord when the appliance is not in use before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning the appliance.

  • Clean the appliance after use as soon as it has cooled down. Milk residues may dry if you do not clean the appliance as soon as possible, making it more dicult to clean.
  • If the milk jug is removed from the base during operation, the appliance will automatically stop working. To restart, put the jug back on the base and press the button of the desired program.
  • The boil-dry protection automatically switches o the appliance if used when empty accidentally. If this happens, make sure to allow the milk foamer to cool down (approx. 30 minutes) before use.
  • The best results are achieved with cold, fresh cow’s milk that is not UHT sterilised. If you do prefer to use sterilised milk, full-fat milk would be best. Foam made from full-fat milk generally has more avour than skimmed milk foam. Skimmed milk foams better, but the fact it foams better does not mean the quality of the foam is better. Foam made from skimmed milk has a tendency to become too airy quickly, as large bubbles are created.30 DO731MF

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Pull the plug out of the socket. Allow the appliance to cool down.
  • Never immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in water or any other liquid. Do not clean the appliance in the dishwasher.
  • Clean the inside of the milk jug, the accessories and the lid using warm water. You can use a mild detergent, but do not use abrasive products.
  • The inside of the milk jug has a non-stick layer. Abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents may damage this layer. Never use metal or sharp objects in the jug.
  • Wipe the base and the milk jug exterior with a damp cloth.
  • Dry the appliance thoroughly. STORAGE
  • Store in a cool and dry place.
  • Wind the cord around the cord winder in the base for compact storage.
  • The underside of the lid has a pin that holds the accessory you are not using. This allows you to store all components with the appliance.
