How to prepare hot frothy milk?

Place the frother in the pot, pour milk up to the MAX level (130 ml), close the lid, place the pot on the base and press the hot preparation button. The appliance stops automatically after about 2 minutes.

Can I make cold frothy milk?

Yes, use the same method but press the cold preparation button. The milk will be mixed without heating, ideal for iced coffees.

Why is my milk not frothing?

Check that you are using the frother and not the mixer. Make sure the frother is correctly mounted on the shaft. The type of milk also matters: fresh non-UHT milk gives the best results.

The milk is not very hot, is this normal?

Yes, the appliance heats milk to about 60 °C, ideal temperature for a creamy froth. Beyond that, proteins burn and the taste deteriorates.

How to clean the milk frother?

Unplug and let cool. Wash the pot, lid, and accessories with warm water and mild detergent. Never immerse the base and do not use abrasive products or metal utensils.

Can I put the pot in the dishwasher?

No. The pot, lid, and accessories must be hand washed to preserve the non-stick coating. The dishwasher can damage it.

How much milk should I use?

Follow the markings in the pot: minimum 80 ml, maximum 130 ml with the frother, and 240 ml with the mixer. Do not exceed the MAX level to avoid overflowing.

Can I use plant-based milk?

Yes, but the froth may be less firm. Soy and almond milks give good results. Fresh non-UHT cow's milk remains best for dense froth.

What if the appliance stops during use?

If the pot is removed, replace it on the base. If the appliance ran dry, the thermal safety cut the power. Let it cool for about 30 minutes before reusing.

How to store accessories?

Under the lid, a small holder allows you to clip the unused accessory. Wrap the cord in the compartment under the base for tidy storage.

This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures that are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The guarantee is issued with the original till receipt. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty. If your device breaks down within the 2-year warranty period, you can return the device together with your receipt to the shop where you purchased it.

The guarantee on accessories and components that are liable to wear-and-tear is only 6 months.

The guarantee and responsibility of the supplier and manufacturer lapse automatically in the following cases:

· If the instructions in this manual have not been followed.
· In case of incorrect connection, e.g. electrical voltage that is too high.
· In case of incorrect, rough or abnormal use.
· In case of insufficient or incorrect maintenance.
· In case of repairs or alterations to the device by the consumer or non-authorised third parties.
- If the customer used parts or accessories that are not recommended or provided by the supplier / manufacturer.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be taken, including the following:

• Read all instructions carefully. Keep this manual for future reference.
  · Make sure all packaging materials and promotional stickers have been removed before using the appliance for the first time. Make sure children cannot play with the packaging materials.

- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children younger than 16 years.

- All repairs should be carried out by the manufacturer or its aftersales service.

- Any injury or damage caused by failure to comply with these rules are at your own risk. Neither the manufacturer, importer, or the supplier may be held liable.

⚠️ELECTRICAL WARNINGS

- In order to avoid a hazard this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer or a separate remote control, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.

- The appliance must be disconnected from its power source when not in use, during service and when replacing parts. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance. To disconnect, turn controls to “OFF” or “o” position, then remove the plug from the wall. Never pull the cord or appliance to remove the plug from the socket.

- Before use, check carefully that the electric tension and frequency of the power net at your home match the indications on the rating label of the appliance.

- The appliance must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is installed and grounded in accordance with local installation regulations.

- Do not let the power supply cord hang over the edge of a counter, or touch hot surfaces.

• Keep the power cord away from hot parts and don't cover the appliance.
• Unwrap the cord completely to prevent overheating of the cord. Do not allow the power cord supply to run underneath or around the unit.
• The appliance may not be used with an extension lead or a multiple socket.
• Do not operate this appliance with a damaged cord or plug or in the event the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the DOMO Service Department or its service agent for examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment. Do not try to repair the appliance yourself.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers before using the appliance for the first time.
• Clean the milk jug with warm water before use.
• There may be a slight odour from the non-stick coating when using the appliance for the first time. This is normal.

USE

1. Place the base on a firm, dry, even and heat-resistant surface.
2. Take the lid off the milk jug. Select the desired accessory and place the accessory on the shaft in the centre of the milk jug.

1. Pour the milk into the milk jug. Do not exceed the maximum level. In the milk jug you can see the level indications:

· MIN: minimum level (+- 80 ml)
· MAX : maximum level with the whisk (+- 130 ml)
· MAX : maximum level with the blender (+- 240 ml)

Attention: do not add any solid ingredients to the milk jug, such as chocolate, ice cubes, ... You can add powdered ingredients such as cocoa powder, matcha powder, ...

1. Put the lid back on the milk jug and place the jug on the base.
2. Plug the power cord into a socket.
3. Press the desired button on the control:

- Hot preparation: perfect for cappuccino, hot milk or hot chocolate. The button shows a red light. - Cold preparation: perfect for iced coffee. The button shows a blue light.

1. The appliance will start working and you can see the accessory rotating. When the program is finished (+/- 2 min.), the appliance will automatically turn off. The indicator light behind the control flashes.

If you want the appliance to stop working before the selected program is finished, press the previously selected button again.

1. When the appliance is ready, remove the jug from the appliance with the handle. Remove the lid. Rotate the milk jug to mix the milk and foam and then pour the milk. Unplug the power cord when the appliance is not in use before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning the appliance.

- Clean the appliance after use as soon as it has cooled down. Milk residues may dry if you do not clean the appliance as soon as possible, making it more difficult to clean.

• If the milk jug is removed from the base during operation, the appliance will automatically stop working. To restart, put the jug back on the base and press the button of the desired program.
• The boil-dry protection automatically switches off the appliance if used when empty accidentally. If this happens, make sure to allow the milk foamer to cool down (approx. 30 minutes) before use.
• The best results are achieved with cold, fresh cow's milk that is not UHT sterilised. If you do prefer to use sterilised milk, full-fat milk would be best. Foam made from full-fat milk generally has more flavour than skimmed milk foam. Skimmed milk foams better, but the fact it foams better does not mean the quality of the foam is better. Foam made from skimmed milk has a tendency to become too airy quickly, as large bubbles are created.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Pull the plug out of the socket. Allow the appliance to cool down.
• Never immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in water or any other liquid. Do not clean the appliance in the dishwasher.
• Clean the inside of the milk jug, the accessories and the lid using warm water. You can use a mild detergent, but do not use abrasive products.
• The inside of the milk jug has a non-stick layer. Abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents may damage this layer. Never use metal or sharp objects in the jug.
  · Wipe the base and the milk jug exterior with a damp cloth.
  · Dry the appliance thoroughly.

STORAGE

• Store in a cool and dry place.
• Wind the cord around the cord winder in the base for compact storage.
• The underside of the lid has a pin that holds the accessory you are not using. This allows you to store all components with the appliance.

The milk does not foam up completely. · This is normal.	mal. The appliance ensures the perfect milk/foam mixture, so that the milk can easily be mixed with coffee or other drinks, making sure the milk foam sits on top. · The result depends on the type of milk used. If you are not happy with the result, try a different type or brand of milk. The best results are achieved with fresh cow's milk that is not UHT sterilised.
The milk is not hot. This is normal. The milk is heated to approximately 60°C for foam with the best possible flavour. Milk proteins are broken down and will burn if the milk is too hot.
Milk leaks from the lid. You are using too much milk.	Do not exceed the maximum level. The milk jug shows the level indicators:
The mixer or foam whisk is not rotating. Dried-up milk may collect around the shaft or in the accessory's opening. Clean thoroughly.
The appliance is making an unusual sound. Dried-up milk may collect around the shaft or in the accessory's opening. Clean thoroughly.
The milk does not foam. · You have used the mixing accessory instead of the foam whisk. The mixer will stir the milk, not foam it. · The foam whisk is not inserted or inserted incorrectly. Pour the milk from the jug and fit the foam whisk correctly.
