How to connect the camera to the Niceboy ION app?

Download the Niceboy ION app from the App Store or Google Play. Create an account or log in. Press '+' at the top right, select 'Cameras' then 'Niceboy ION Home Security Camera'. Turn on the camera, press the RESET button for 5 seconds until the LED blinks. Follow the instructions in the app to scan the displayed QR code and connect the camera to your 2.4 GHz WiFi network.

Why does the camera not connect to my WiFi?

Check that your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network (the camera does not support 5 GHz). Make sure the network name and password are correct. If the signal is weak, move the camera closer to the router. Restart the camera and try again. If the problem persists, reset the camera by holding the RESET button for 5 seconds and restart the setup.

How to reset the camera to factory settings?

APP CONNECTION

1. Download the App by scanning the QR code with your cell phone or Search for „Niceboy ION“ in the mobile app market and download the app. Before using this function make sure your cell phone has been connected to Wi-Fi.
2. Open "Niceboy ION" App and register a new account or use an existing account.
3. After the password is set, proceed to the next step „Add Device“
4. Select and click on „Cameras“
5. Select and click on „Niceboy ION Home Security Camera“

6. Camera will turn on automatically after connecting in power socket.

7. After turning on the device, reset by pressing the button for more than 5s. The LED on the camera flashes.

8. Confirm that the LED is flashing and click NEXT to connect to the network. (In the case of a cable connection, it is necessary to change the mode to cable connection on the Device Reset screen in the upper right corner)..
9. Follow the instructions in the app to enter the Wi-Fi network name, enter the Wi-Fi password, and click NEXT (note: the camera can be connected via a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network).
10. The QR code for connecting the camera is displayed on the phone screen. Read the QR code from the phone screen with the camera from a distance of 15 - 20 cm.
11. Camera is then added to the device list. You can change the name of camera before confirming.

Connecting your device to a Wi-Fi network may take tens of seconds, depending on the signal strength.
