USE AND CARE

  • Before each use, fully extend the power cord of the appliance.
  • Do not use the appliance if the accessories or consumables are not properly attached.
  • Do not use the appliance if the accessories attached to it are defective. Replace them immediately.
  • Do not use the appliance if its on/off switch does not work.
  • Do not operate the appliance without water.
  • Use the appliance only with water.
  • The use of water with low calcareous and magnesium mineralization is recommended, especially if the water you have at your disposal contains any type of mud or is of the "hard" type (containing calcium or magnesium).
  • Do not move the appliance while it is in use.
  • Do not turn the appliance upside down while it is in use or connected to the mains.
  • Unplug the appliance from the mains before refilling the water tank.
  • Unplug the appliance from the mains when not in use and before any cleaning operation.
  • Do not store the appliance if it is still hot.

  • Never leave the appliance switched on and unattended. This will save energy and prolong the life of the appliance.

  • Keep this appliance out of the reach of children and/or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge.
  • Do not use the device on any part of the body of a person or animal.

ASSEMBLY OF THE DEVICE

As shown in Fig.1 we must first connect the telescopic rod (D) to the plate.

  • To do this unscrew the connector.
  • Insert the connector into the bar and the bar into the hole.
  • Screw the connector back on so that the bar is secured.

As shown in Fig. 2, extend the bar (D) and insert the folding hanger (A).

  • If we open the tabs of the pole we can extend the pole.
  • By closing the tabs again, we lock the pole at the desired height.
  • Insert the snap-on sling bar into the upper end of the pole.

Following Fig.3 we install the steam hose (B).

  • Attach the hose with the connector to the corresponding hole in the iron.
  • Screw the connector so that the hose is secured.

- As shown in Fig.4 extend the sling bar arms (A) by pulling them upwards.

- NOTE: To fold back the sling bar arms, simply squeeze the two tabs at the bottom and fold the arms.

- Hang the steam nozzle (F) on the holder at the top of the hanger (A).

- We can attach the brush (E) to the top of the steam nozzle (F) under pressure. This brush allows you to protect the most delicate fabrics.

Instructions for use

NOTES BEFORE USE

The water tank must be filled before the appliance can be used.

  • To do this, remove the water tank (C).
  • Unscrew the cap and fill the tank with water.
  • Screw the cap back on and place the tank correctly on the griddle.

USE

  • First fill the water tank (C) according to the "water filling" instructions.
  • Fully extend the cable before plugging in.
  • Plug the appliance into the mains.
  • Turn the on/off knob (H) and select the desired mode.
  • Wait 45 seconds for the appliance to heat up.
  • Hang the garment on the folding hanger.
  • Spray the steam on the garment holding the garment from one end to keep the fabric taut.

ON/OFF KNOB

  • OFF: The appliance is switched off.
  • SILK: Ideal mode for delicate fabrics such as silk.
  • COTTON: Ideal mode for use on cotton.
  • MAX: Perfect mode for removing the most stubborn wrinkles in non-delicate fabrics.

AFTER USE OF THE DEVICE HAS ENDED

  • Switch off the appliance using the on/off switch (H).
  • Unplug the unit from the mains.
  • Wait at least 30 minutes for the unit to cool down.
  • Empty the water reservoir (C).

  • Unscrew the drain plug (G) and empty the water reservoir.

  • CAUTION: Screw the drain plug back into place.
  • Fold the telescopic pole (D) using the tabs.
  • Unscrew the steam hose (B).
  • NOTE: You can use the steam nozzle holder to roll up the hose while the appliance is not in use.

Cleaning

  • Unplug the unit from the mains and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
  • Clean the unit with a damp cloth soaked in a few drops of detergent and then wipe it dry.
  • Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or basic pH factor such as bleach, or abrasive products to clean the appliance.
  • Do not immerse the device in water or any other liquid, nor put it under the tap.

TREATMENT OF CALCAREOUS INCRUSTATIONS

  • For a perfect operation of the appliance, it must be free of lime or magnesium incrustations caused by the use of high hardness water.
  • To avoid this type of problem, the use of water with low calcareous or magnesium mineralization is recommended.
  • Homemade solutions, such as the use of vinegar, are not recommended for decalcification treatments.
