USER MANUAL TKG VT 1036 KALORIK
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the safety and operating instructions.
Important : This appliance can be used by children over 8 years old and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or with a lack of experience or knowledge if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and the risks involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
Never leave the appliance and its cord unsupervised and within reach of children less than 8 years old or irresponsible persons when it is plugged into the wall or when it is cooling down.
☐ Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
□ Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
From time to time check the appliance for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage. In that case, repairs should be made by a competent qualified electrician (*) to avoid all danger.
□ Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.
□ Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason and avoid splashes on the appliance.
□ Never use the appliance near hot surfaces. Do not allow the power cord to hang over sharp table edges or come into contact with hot surfaces.
☐ Switch off the appliance and remove the power plug from the mains electrical supply whenever the appliance is not in use, before cleaning or when changing accessories.
□ Never use the unit outside and place it in a dry environment.
□ Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer.
☐ Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
☐ It is absolutely necessary to unplug the appliance before assembling or disassembling it.
☐ Make sure the assembly is correctly made before plugging in the appliance. Never try to start the appliance without its protection guard.
☐ Make sure the appliance is switched to the "0" position before unplugging it.
☐ Do not insert your fingers, pencils, or any other objects in the protection guard.
☐ Do not touch the appliance with damp or wet hands.
□ Always place the appliance against a stable, flat surface. Also ensure that the surface can take the weight of the unit.
☐ Adequate air space should be provided for air circulation.
- The unit can’t come into contact with curtains, clothing, dish towels or others as these may be drawn in.
☐ Do not let the fan in use for long periods during your absence. Make sure it is switched off before leaving.
☐ Do not point the fan in the direction of a sick or sleeping person.
□ Clean the appliance according to the cleaning section.
(*) Competent qualified electrician: after-sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In case of need you should return the appliance to this electrician.
ASSEMBLY
- Remove the base locking collar (twist anticlockwise).
- Position the two base shells together and fit the power cord through the opening.
- Close the base by firmly tightening the 4 provided screws.
- Attach the base onto the bottom of the tower fan by aligning the locking tabs with the corresponding slots.
- Secure it into position by twisting the base locking collar (clockwise direction).

OPERATION
- Place your fan on a flat and dry surface and plug it into a suitable mains socket.
- Select the desired speed setting by pushing the buttons. There are 4 settings - 0 (off), 1 (low), 2 (medium) and 3 (high).
- Turn the control knob to set the timer up to 1 hour.
- Push the oscillation button to start the right/left movement of the fan.
- Turn the control knob to "0" and unplug the fan after use.
CARE AND CLEANING
Caution: Always disconnect the fan from mains socket before cleaning.
- Use only a soft damp cloth to clean the fan.
• Never spray the appliance with liquids or submerge it in water or other liquid. - Never allow water to drip into the housing.
• Never use gasoline, paint thinner or other chemicals to clean the fan. - If it will not be used for a long period of time, store the fan in a dry place, in its original box to protect it from dust and humidity.
When used inappropriately the appliance could damage itself or constitute a danger to the user, in that case the warranty will no longer apply and the producer cannot be held responsible for any possible damages.
PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT – DIRECTIVE 2012/19/EU
In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the
implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol the rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it to a municipal collection point performing waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in accordance with the directive.

We, Team Kalorik Group SA/NV, hereby confirm that our product meets the requirements of regulation 1275/2008/EC. Our product does not dispose of a standby mode as this product switches off completely immediately after the operation is finished and as a consequence does not consume electricity!
