USER MANUAL TM5500 Concept

PRODUKTA APRAKSTS/ PRODUCT DESCRIPTION/ PRODUCTOMSCHRIJVING/

  • Do not use the appliance in any other way than as described in this manual.
  • Remove all the covering and marketing materials from the appliance before the first use.
  • Make sure the mains voltage corresponds to the values on the rating plate of the appliance.
  • Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on or connected to the mains.
  • Only place the appliance on a stable and heat-resistant surface away from other heat sources.
  • Disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet if it is not being used.
  • When disconnecting the appliance from the wall outlet, never pull the power cord, grasp the plug end and disconnect it by removing it from the receptacle.
  • Do not allow children or unauthorized people to handle the appliance, use it out of their reach.
  • Persons with reduced mobility, reduced sensory perception, mental disadvantage or persons not familiar with the operation must use the appliance only under the supervision of responsible person, who is familiar with the instructions.
  • Pay extra attention if the appliance is used near children.
  • Do not use the appliance as a toy.
  • Do not allow the power cord to hang freely over the edge of the worktop where children might reach it.

Before putting a new appliance into operation, you should wipe it thoroughly with a damp cloth and wash all removable parts in warm water for hygienic reasons. The appliance is intended for short-term operation. Do not use the appliance continuously for longer than the time specified in the technical parameters table. Allow the appliance to cool down before further use. BLENDING The stick attachment is intended for preparing sauces, toppings, soups, mayonnaise, baby food, mixed drinks and milkshakes.

1. Put the foods in the blending bowl or any other higher kitchenware.

2. Place the appliance body on the shaft of the stick attachment and turn it to lock it (pull it make sure that the stick attachment cannot be separated from the appliance body).

CHOPPING The chopping bowl is suitable for chopping meat, cheese, onions, herbs, garlic, carrots, walnuts, almonds, prunes, etc. Do not chop extremely hard foods such as nutmeg, coffee beans and grains. Cut foods such as meat, cheese, onions, garlic, carrots and frozen foods first. Remove stems from herbs, remove shells from nuts. Remove bones, gristles, tendons and skin from meat.

FOOD PROCESSOR (model TM5500 only) The food processor can be used not only as a large chopper, but also as a grater. You can insert the plate of your choice into the grating attachment.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning and after use of the appliance, switch the appliance off and disconnect it from the mains. Wipe the appliance body with a damp cloth. Do not use pot scourer, abrasives solutions or solvents for cleaning. The transmissions must not come into contact with water! Simply wipe them with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the stick attachment in water! Simply wash it. Make sure that water does not get into the inside of the attachment to the drive shaft area. If this happens, allow the stick attachment to dry and drip a few drops of edible oil into the drive shaft area to ensure better run of the stick attachment bearing. Wash bowls and chopping blades in warm detergent water and rinse with clean water or wash them in a dishwasher. If you process foods with a higher concentration of pigment (e.g. carrots), some plastic parts may become discoloured. To remove the discolouration, coat these parts with vegetable oil before washing and leave it for a few minutes. Defects caused by improper or insufficient maintenance are not covered by the warranty. SERVICE Extensive maintenance or repair, which requires access to internal parts of the product, has to be performed by a qualified service centre. ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS

  • Packaging materials and old appliances should be recycled.
  • Packaging materials may be disposed of as sorted waste.
