Using your NIFFTEE
CAUTION – DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT ON CARPET
- Place the scouring, buffing, or polishing pad onto the grips located on the bottom of the rotating head, ensuring the pad is central to the head.
- Push the on/off button to begin rotating head motion.
• To stop the head from rotating press the on/off button. - The NIFFTEE is suitable to be used on may surfaces including laminate, wood and vinyl plus worktops, mirrors, windows, and ceramic tiles.
- When cleaning / polishing keep the rotating head moving across the surface at a gentle speed, allowing the NIFFTEE to glide over dirty surfaces.
- When cleaning sensitive surfaces apply the polisher in the first instance to a small, less obvious area, i.e. the corner of a room.
- Only use dedicated cleaning products, for floors the recommended cleaner is Ewbank Floor Polish and Reviver available from Ewbank stockists. Detergent cleaners are best for mopping
- Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for floor cleaning products and do not over-wet the surface.
- Take care to ensure that no grit or sharp particles are stuck to the pad as these may cause damage to the surface.
Caution: As protection against overheating the unit, please do not block the rotating head from revolving.
Nifftee, a single product with a multitude of uses
To get the best results from your Niftee we recommend the following;
- The white scouring pad is recommended for use on floors where you need extra help to remove stains and clean the surface prior to adding a finish – such as polish. When using in conjunction with water, always be careful not to use too much liquid on the floor – especially when working on laminate floor as this could cause permanent damage
- The white textured buffing pad is recommended for light cleaning and polishing of surfaces including floors throughout the home. The pad can be used with a light spraying of liquid detergent for cleaning or polish to deliver a light sheen. Take care not to over wet the surface.
- The yellow textured pad is recommended for general dusting and polishing of floors and other hard surfaces around the
home. It is recommended that the pad is used dry but may be used with a light spray of liquid polish.
- All cloth pads are suitable for machine washing on a cool (30°C / 85°F) cycle or handwashing with a mild detergent. Do not tumble dry.
Cleaning and caring for your Nifftee
- Ensure the charger unit is unplugged before cleaning the NIFFTEE.
- The NIFFTEE can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
- Do not immerse the unit in water.
- Dry the NIFFTEE with a dry cloth.
- The soft cloth cleaning pads are machine-washable; we recommend a cool water wash (30°C / 85°F) with a mild detergent and allow the cloths to dry naturally. Do not tumble dry.
Tip: If debris enters the gap between the rotating head and the main body, ensure the unit is switched off, gently flex the rotating head and discard any debris.
