What should I do if the LED flashes red?

The red flashing LED indicates low battery level. Replace the three AAA batteries as soon as possible.

How do I establish a Bluetooth connection between the Testo 552i and my smartphone?

Make sure the Testo SMART app is installed and Bluetooth on your device is enabled. Turn on the probe by pressing the button; the yellow LED flashes during searching, then turns green when the connection is established.

What does the '---' display in the app mean?

This indicates that the measured value exceeds the measurement range (more than 26.66 mbar) or that the sensor is defective. Check the measurement conditions and if the problem persists, contact Testo customer service.

Can I use the Testo 552i with flammable refrigerants (A2L)?

Yes, Testo instruments can be used with A2L refrigerants in compliance with applicable standards. However, use is reserved for qualified and specialized personnel, and any explosive atmosphere must be avoided.

How do I clean the Testo 552i?

Clean the housing with a damp cloth and soapy water or a mild detergent. Never use solvents or caustic agents. Keep the connection clean and free of grease.

What is the battery life of the Testo 552i?

The battery life is approximately 39 hours with new AAA alkaline batteries. The red flashing LED indicates it is time to replace them.

How do I export measurements taken with the Testo 552i?

In the Testo SMART app, press Memory, select the measurement, then press the export icon. You can choose CSV or PDF format, then send the file by email or Bluetooth.

The device turns off automatically, what should I do?

This usually happens when the battery charge is too low. Replace the batteries. If the problem persists, check that the probe is not in extended sleep mode.

What type of connection does the Testo 552i have?

Can I connect the Testo 552i to a pressurized system?
