How to install the Epson CHF2500 projector mount on the ceiling?

First attach the sleeve plate (D) to the joists, then screw the ceiling pipe (B) into the plate. Align the projector bracket (A) on the pipe and tighten the locking screw. Make sure the structure supports 5 times the total weight.

What is the maximum weight supported by the CHF2500 mount?

The combined weight of all attached components must not exceed 22.68 kg (50 lb).

Can I install the mount directly on the ceiling without the pipe?

Yes, the mount can be recessed into the ceiling without a pipe. Refer to sections 1a, 1b, and 1c of the manual for recessed installation options.

How to adjust the image orientation?

Use the adjustment screws: loosen the corresponding locking screw, turn the fine adjustment screw (vertical axis, longitudinal tilt, lateral pivot) with a #2 Phillips screwdriver, then retighten the locking screw.

What tools are needed for installation?

You will need a #2 Phillips screwdriver, a drill (for wood or concrete), a spirit level, and possibly a socket wrench for threaded rods.

Is the mount compatible with all Epson projectors?

It is compatible with Epson projectors that have standard mounting holes. Use the provided interface plate (C) and the projector's hardware.

How to install the mount on a concrete wall?

Drill 10 mm diameter holes 64 mm deep, insert Toggler A10 concrete anchors, then secure the mount with 1/4 in x 3 in lag bolts.

What if the locking screws are too tight?

Do not overtighten to avoid damaging the threads. Tighten until the screw is no longer visible in the access hole.

Does the kit include mounting screws for the projector?

No, use the hardware provided with your projector to attach the interface plate. The kit only contains safety screws (F, G) for the pipe.

	Thread Ceiling Pipe into Ceiling Plate1. Align ceiling pipe (B) with installed ceiling plate (D).2. Turn ceiling pipe (B) counter-clockwise to thread onto ceiling plate (D) until hand-tight.3. Install 5/16-18 x 3/8" set screw (E) or 5/16-18 x 3/8" security set screw (F) into ceiling plate to secure pipe to plate.

	Rough Alignment of Projector Mount1. Turn projector mount (A) clockwise or counter-clockwise until front of mount is facing target.IMPORTANT ! : When projector mount is properly positioned, the set screw access hole should be pointing directly at target.(see bottom detail in figure at left)2. Concrete Installation

1. Determine mounting location.

WARNING: IMPROPER INSTALLATION CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT! Structural members MUST be capable of supporting five times the combined weight of all equipment being mounted.

1. Using the projector bracket (A) as a guide, mark four mounting hole locations on ceiling using a pencil or similar tool.

2. Drill four 3/8" (10mm) dia. pilot holes to a depth of 2-1/2" (64mm) deep.

1. Align four mounting holes in projector bracket (A) with four pilot holes.

IMPORTANT ! : Make sure mount is properly oriented towards target before securing to structure.

1. Install four Toggler A10 Alligator concrete anchors (not included) by inserting into pilot holes and pounding in until flush with mounting surface.

2. Secure projector bracket (A) to structure using four 1/4" flat washers and four 1/4" x 3" lag bolts. (not included)

Threaded Rod Installation

The projector bracket (A) can be secured to unistrut, angle or channel assembly overhead structural members (trusses or I-beams) using four 1/4" diameter threaded rods.

1. Carefully determine required mount position.

IMPORTANT !: This will require knowing the lens to screen distance. See projector specifications for determining this distance.

NOTE: Threaded rod and installation hardware not included.

1. Secure one end of the threaded rod to the structural member.

2. Install four 1/4-20 jam nuts on each threaded rod.

3. Install the projector bracket (A) on the threaded rod.

NOTE: Hole in the projector bracket (A) allows socket wrench access without unit disassembly.

1. Secure the projector bracket to the threaded rod using four 1/4-20 nuts.

1. Line up mounting holes on projector with interface bracket (C) hole pattern.

2. Secure interface bracket (C) to projector using installation instructions and hardware provided with projector.

Install Projector With Interface Bracket to Projector Mount

1. Orient projector with interface bracket as shown in Figure 3b at left.
2. Lift projector so that screws are aligned with mounting slots in mount base.
3. Slide projector with mounting bracket onto mounting slots in mount base until screws are seated against the back of mounting slots.

WARNING: IMPROPER INSTALLATION CAN LEAD TO PROJECTOR FALLING RESULTING IN SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT. Make certain mounting slots in mount base slide under screws and that screws are seated in the back of slots.

Securing Projector with Interface Bracket to Model RPM Mount.

YAW Adjustment

1. Loosen YAW adjustment locking screw using a #2 Phillips screwdriver.
2. Turn YAW micro-adjustment screw right or left using a #2 Phillips screwdriver until image is properly aligned on target.
3. Tighten YAW adjustment locking screw using a #2 Phillips screwdriver.

1. Loosen PITCH adjustment locking screw using a #2 Phillips screwdriver.
2. Turn PITCH micro-adjustment screw right or left using a #2 Phillips screwdriver until image is properly aligned on target.

1. Loosen ROLL adjustment locking screw using a #2 Phillips screwdriver.
2. Turn ROLL micro-adjustment screw right or left using a #2 Phillips screwdriver until image is properly aligned on target.
