- The swing may only be mounted on fixtures with sufficient stability and material strength (solid wood frames, metal frames or concrete ceilings).
- The knots on the ends of the cables must not be loosened as these are for ensuring the item is suspended securely.
• The product may only be installed by an adult.
- Mount the swing only as described in this manual. Other mounting methods could damage the cable or the support element.
- The attachment of the cables, protective covers for the side reinforcements, hooks, and rings must be inspected by an adult before each use to avoid injuries due to defective parts. As soon as the swing's mounting element shows signs of defects, the swing must not be used any more. Likewise, check whether all screws and nuts are tightened firmly before each use and retighten them if necessary.
• The swing may not be mounted near stairs.
- Mount the swing far enough away from other objects so that no one can be injured. In doing so, consider the radius the swing will reach when it is swinging.
- Make sure there are no hard objects or objects with sharp edges within the range of the swing.
- Do not mount the swing over concrete, asphalt, or other hard surfaces.
- Use the appropriate mounting material for mounting the swing onto wood or metal frames or concrete ceilings (see Mounting the swing).
- When mounting the swing onto a wooden frame or wooden beam, the mounting hooks must be pushed completely through the wood and secured with a nut from above.
- Make sure your child is not wearing a helmet or clothing with strings or cords when using the product, as these may get caught and could injure the child.
- Do not jump off the swing while it is swinging. Only get off the swing when it has come to a complete stop.
- Ensure that there is enough space between the swing and other people and objects, so that no one can be injured.
- The product should be a suitable safe distance of at least 2m away from buildings, stairs, fences, walls, water, overhanging branches, washing lines, electrical wires, and other obstacles.
- Note that this product may become hot in strong sunlight.
- No technical alterations may be made to the product.
Mounting the swing
Only mount the swing on fixtures where you can guarantee sufficient stability with absolute certainty. For mounting, use at least 10mm sturdy screw hooks that are bent at least 540° or completely closed to prevent unintended release. In wooden beams, the mount must be pushed completely through the wood and secured from above to achieve a sufficiently secure connection.
Mounting the clips (Fig. J)
Mount the clips on the cables on both sides of the swing. The clips prevent your child's head or other body part from getting stuck in the cables.
- Slide the yellow side piece all the way down, so as to position it as close as possible to the swing seat.
- Loosen the screw on the pre-mounted clip (5) and slide the clip (5) all the way down, so that the respective side piece cannot ride up any more.
- Fix the clip (5) in place with the screw (6) again.
- Mount the remaining clips (5) by folding them up and fixing them in place with the screw (6) at evenly spaced intervals.
Note: Make sure that the tips of the screws do not protrude from the clips.
Mounting the board swing (Fig. B)
The board swing without the backrest (2) and the front frame (3) is suitable for children aged between 5 and 8 years.
Note: Observe the maximum weight of 50kg.
Chair swing (Fig. C)
The chair swing is suitable for children aged between 3 and 5 years.
- Attach the backrest (2) to the seat (1) of the swing. Use the first hole (1a) on the swing seat (Fig. D).
- Tighten the locking screw (4) firmly to secure the backrest (2).
Baby swing
The baby swing is suitable for children aged between 6 and 36 months.
- Attach the backrest (2) to the seat (1) of the swing. Depending on the child's size or age, use either the first hole (1a) or the second hole (1b) on the swing seat (Fig. D).
- Tighten the locking screw (4) firmly to secure the backrest (2) (Fig. C).
- Attach the front frame (3) to the frontmost hole (1c) on the seat (Fig. E).
- Tighten the locking screw (4) firmly to secure the front frame (3) (Fig. F).
Various mounting hooks
Only mount the swing on a suitable mount. These are:
No. 1: a closed mounting hook that is fastened to the swing element with a carabiner hook (Fig. G). No. 2: a round hook that is bent 540° to prevent unintended release (Fig. H).
Note! The eye of the mounting hook ① must be mounted crosswise to the swing direction so that the fastening element of the swing will not be damaged too heavily during use.
Adjusting the height of the swing (Fig. I)
The height of the seat can be adjusted using the ring on the upper end of the swing.
After you have adjusted the length of the cable, it will pull tight again under load.
Adjust the length of both cables so the swing is perfectly balanced.
Maintenance
Read the following maintenance information carefully and follow the instructions contained in it to avoid injuries due to defective parts.
- The swing elements, cables and fasteners must be checked regularly before each use for damage and wear.
