How long does it take to charge the battery for the first time?

The first charge must last 12 hours even if the LED indicator changes color before. Subsequent charges only require about 90 minutes.

Can I use the clipper plugged into the mains if the battery is empty?

Yes, the clipper can be used by plugging it directly into the mains adapter even if the battery is discharged.

How to clean the GBS Absolute Fade clipper?

Turn off and unplug the device. Remove the comb. Use the provided brush to remove hair between the blades. Never clean the parts under running water.

How often should I lubricate the blade?

For professional use, lubricate daily. For domestic use, lubricate at least once a month or more often depending on use. Put a few drops of oil on the blade, turn on for a few seconds, then wipe off excess.

What are the available cutting heights with the combs?

The combs allow the following lengths: 1.5 mm, 3 mm, 4.5 mm, 6 mm, 10 mm, 13 mm, 19 mm and 25 mm.

How to adjust the cutting height without comb?

Use the lever located on the left side of the device. Positioned upward, the cut is at 0.8 mm; downward, at 3.8 mm.

Can I replace the battery myself?

No, the battery is internal and must not be replaced by the user. Any attempt voids the warranty and presents a risk of fire or electrocution.

What to do if the clipper does not cut effectively despite maintenance?

If the blade is worn, contact the manufacturer to replace the entire cutting head. Do not disassemble the head yourself or you will lose the warranty.

Is the clipper waterproof?

No, it is not waterproof. Do not use it near water, do not immerse it, and do not clean it under the tap.

How to attach and remove the combs?

To attach, place the notch near the teeth of the comb on the blade, then push the base until it clicks. To remove, pull the tab at the base of the comb outward.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE:

Before using the hair clipper the hair must be clean and dry. We recommend cutting small quantities of hair at a time, adjusting the cutting length gradually until finding the one you want. The blades risk getting stuck if too fast movements are made or if a lot of hair is cut at the same time. It can be used without attachment comb to trim beard, neck hair and sideburns.

BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE:

Before charging the hair clipper for the first time we recommend fully discharging the battery and then fully charging it.

1. Make sure that the appliance is switched off.
2. Plug the appliance into the power outlet and then connect it to its adapter. The charging LED will light up and remain red for the whole charging process. As soon as the product is fully charged, the LED will change colour.
   Attention: to prolong battery life, the first charge should be much longer even if the LED changes colour.
   The first charge takes 12 hours. Subsequent charges take about 90 minutes. When fully charged, the battery will last about 120 minutes.

3. Disconnect the adapter from the outlet once it is fully charged.

4. The hair clipper may be used connected directly to the power outlet if the battery charge is depleted. It needs to be charged when the red charging LED, starts blinking.

The duration of the battery varies based on usage frequency and times. To increase the lifespan of the batteries, this procedure should be carried out at least twice every 12 months, discharging the battery completely and recharging it for the maximum time. If the appliance is not used often, remember in any case to carry out a charging cycle every so often during the year to keep it working efficiently. On the contrary, when the charging is finished, do not keep the appliance connected to the mains to prevent the battery from overcharging and damaging the appliance.

WARNING: Do not attempt to replace the internal battery of the hair clipper. This can lead to the risk of fire or electric shock. Tampering invalidates the warranty on the product.

CAUTION:

Lubricate the blade before the first use. Read the instructions contained in the section "HOW AND WHEN TO LUBRICATE THE BLADE"

USE INSTRUCTIONS:

• Insert the desired attachment. This operation should always be done with the hair clipper turned off.
• Turn on the hair clipper by pressing the (O/I) button.
• Turn off the hair clipper by pressing the (O/I) button

INSERTION OF COMBS:

The supplied combs have two snap on seats. One near the teeth of each comb (Fig. 1) and the other near the base of each comb (Fig. 2). To insert the combs in the hair clipper, set the snap on base near the teeth of the comb on the hair clipper blade and then push the base of the comb against the base of the blade head until you hear a slight click: insertion will be now be completed. Remove the combs using the tab located on the base of the comb, exerting an outward force.

CUTTING LENGTH ADJUSTMENT:

The ABSOLUTE FADE hair clipper offers the possibility of making finishing touches from 0.8 mm to 3.8 mm (if used without any guide comb attached and using the adjustment lever) and performing classic hair cuts with the following lengths: 1.5, 3, 4.5, 6, 10, 13, 19 and 25 mm.

ADJUSTABLE LEVER:

The lever for adjusting the cutting length is located on the left side of the body of the appliance (Fig. 3); this lever lets you adjust the cutting length to 0.8 mm if held upwards, i.e. towards the upper body of the appliance, or 3.8 mm if held downwards, i.e. towards the rear body of the appliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

A clean and properly lubricated hair clipper considerably improves its capacity and cutting precision. DO NOT CLEAN ANY PART OF THE APPLIANCE UNDER RUNNING WATER.

CLEANING THE HEAD:

Before any cleaning operation, make sure that the appliance is properly turned off and disconnected from the power outlet. Remove the accessory if it is inserted. Using the special brush supplied, remove any hair residues between the blades and the back of the blade head.

NEVER DISASSEMBLE THE HEAD INTO ITS INTEGRAL PARTS OR YOU WILL INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY ON THE ENTIRE PRODUCT.

HOW AND WHEN TO LUBRICATE THE BLADE:

Before the first use we recommend lubricating the blade with a drop of the oil found in the package or with any other lubricating oil (make sure that it is not too viscous).

Turn the hair clipper upside down (Fig.4) so that oil does not drip on the appliance. Lubricate the blade with a few drops of oil. Turn the appliance on for a few seconds so that the oil is distributed evenly along the entire blade. Then, using a dry cloth, eliminate any excess oil residues. For professional users, the lubrication process must be carried out daily. In case of domestic use, it can be carried out monthly or more frequently, depending on the type of use of the product.

BLADE DURATION:

The duration of the blade varies based on usage frequency and times. Although correct maintenance is performed, if the cutting efficiency is compromised, contact the manufacturer to have the entire head replaced.
