Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
- Please read this manual carefully and use the unit only according to this manual.
■ Before starting the unit, make sure the operating voltage stated on the type label corresponds to the power mains voltage available in your area. - Be very careful when the unit is used near or in the presence of children or persons in need of supervision.
- Use the unit only for blending foodstuff. Keep all parts of the unit clean as they come into direct contact with food.
- Do not lead the cable around sharp corners or over hot surfaces. Do not let the motor unit, cord or plug get wet.
- Never pull on the power cable, but grasp the plug itself to unplug. Avoid handling with wet hands.
- The blade is very sharp! Handle with care. Do not touch the blade during use. Keep fingers, hair, clothing and objects away from the blade.
- Do not use the unit outdoors or close to open flames, heaters or other hot objects.
- Pull the power cord and turn off the unit before assembling, disassembling or cleaning the unit.
- The unit is only intended for domestic use and not for continuous professional operation.
- Do not blend hot oil or hot fats and broiling liquids. Risk of burn! Make sure that liquids cannot enter the ventilation slots.
- Only use the delivered blender sticks with this motor unit. Do not use other accessory with this motor unit.
■ Before cleaning or storing the unit, allow it to cool down.

Safety Notes
- If the unit or the power cable is damaged, the unit must not be operated any further, but should be repaired by a professional.
- Do not disassemble the unit and do not try to repair it yourself. The unit does not contain parts serviceable by you.

■ Before the first use, familiarise yourself with the unit. Read the safety notes and use the unit only according to this manual.
- Remove all packaging from the unit and the accessories. Do not leave packaging materials lying around; plastic bags may become a deadly toy for small children.
- Clean all parts as described as in the chapter “Cleaning”.
Operating the Blender Stick
- The inner side of the stainless steel blender stick (1) has totally 4 notches (A). The motor unit is equipped with 2 locking pins (B).

When inserting the stainless steel blender stick (1) into the motor unit, make sure the locking pins (B) fit exactly with the corresponding notches (A). When inserting the blender stick correctly into the motor unit, the blender stick is already engaged. Please do not turn furthermore.

Plug the power plug into a wall socket. Place the blender stick (1) in the measuring cup (2). Immerse the blade fully into foodstuff or liquid before switching the blender stick on in order to avoid splashing.

Push the ON button I for normal speed or push the ON button II for Turbo speed. As long as you keep the resp. ON button pressed the blender stick rotates.
Operation
- When pressing the ON button I and turning the speed regulator (4), you can adjust the running speed. Preferably start with setting 1 and change the speed according to your requirements. Hint: The speed regulator can only be used with the ON button I.
- After use, first remove the plug from the wall socket and then detach the blender stick from the motor unit by pressing both releasing buttons (7) simultaneously.
Operating the Beater
The beater (3) is also equipped witch 4 notches, so the locking pins (7) on the motor unit will fit exactly into these notches. For locking the beater make sure the locking pins (B) on the motor unit fit exactly into these notches.
Hints:
- When blending directly in the pan while cooking pay attention not to overheat the blender.
- When blending some hard foods like herbs, garlic, carrots, potato etc. please add in the container a few water. Start blending solid food in smaller quantities and add more food to achieve good blending.
- Do not immerse the blender stick for more than 15 cm into liquids to avoid liquid to come in contact with the motor unit.
- Do not operate the blender stick for more than 60 seconds continuously. Let the unit cool down before next use.
Cleaning
■ Before cleaning, please pull the power plug and allow the unit to cool down!
- Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any liquids!
- Use only a moist cloth to clean the motor unit. Allow the unit to dry fully before next use.
Operation
- After processing very salty and acidic food you should rinse the blade right away. Do not touch the blade while cleaning. It is very sharp. When processing food with colour, like carrots or beetroot the blade may become discoloured. Please clean the blade with vegetable oil to remove the discolouring.
- Do not use metal or sharp items to clean the unit, because these may damage the surfaces. Do not use aggressive chemicals.
Storing
You can hang up the motor unit by the provided hanging loop (8), so you will have it always ready to hand.
