How to adjust the fan speed?
Press the speed adjustment button on the touch panel or remote control. Each press increases the speed. The fan has 3 speeds: low, medium, and high. The corresponding indicator light turns on to show the selected speed.
How to use the timer?
Press the timer button to set an automatic shut-off duration. Each press increases the time: 1h, 2h, 4h, then up to 8h. A fifth press deactivates the timer. Once the time has elapsed, the fan automatically stops.
How to activate oscillation?
Press the oscillation button. Each press changes the oscillation angle between 30°, 90°, 180° and 360°. The indicator shows the selected angle. An additional press deactivates oscillation.
What to do if the remote control stops working?
First check the insertion of the CR2032 battery and its orientation. If necessary, replace it. The remote control has a range of 5 meters; make sure you are within this area and without obstacles. Use the controls on the touch panel in the meantime.
How to clean the fan?

This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures that are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The guarantee is issued with the original till receipt. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty. If your device breaks down within the 2-year warranty period, you can return the device together with your receipt to the shop where you purchased it.

The guarantee on accessories and components that are liable to wear-and-tear is only 6 months.

The guarantee and responsibility of the supplier and manufacturer lapse automatically in the following cases:

  • If the instructions in this manual have not been followed.
    · In case of incorrect connection, e.g., electrical voltage that is too high.
    · In case of incorrect, rough or abnormal use.
  • In case of insufficient or incorrect maintenance.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Carefully remove the device from the packaging. Remove any promotional stickers.
    · Clean the outside of the device with a soft damp cloth.
    Before using the appliance with the remote control, a coin cell battery (CR2032) must be placed in the remote control. This is provided. Follow the instructions below.

· The remote control has a range of 5 metres.

USE

Plug the power cord into a socket. A beep indicates that the device is in standby mode. You can control the fan from the control panel or with the remote control. Each time a button is pressed, the device emits an audible signal and an indicator light lights up to indicate that the desired setting has been implemented.

ON/OFF BUTTON

Press this button to turn the device on or off. The corresponding indicator light lights up ⏻. The fan starts working at the lowest speed or at the last set speed. This can be seen from the indicator light that illuminates.

BUTTON FOR SPEED SETTINGS

Press this button to set the speed as desired. Each press of the button will increase the speed. The fan has 3 speeds. The selected speed can be seen by means of the indicator light that illuminates.

· Low speed
· Medium speed
· High speed

OSCILLATION BUTTON

Press this button to turn the oscillation on or off. With oscillation, the device rotates alternately to the left and to the right to distribute the air better. Press the button to increase the amount of oscillation. There are 4 oscillation settings. You can see the chosen setting from the indicator light that illuminates.

· 180° oscillation 180
· 360° oscillation 360

TIMER

DOMO DO8148 - TIMER - 1

Press the timer button to set the timer to a maximum of 8 hours. Each press of the button will increase the time. The selected time is indicated by the indicator light that illuminates.

  • Press this button once to set the timer for 1 hour.
  • Press this button twice to set the timer for 2 hours. 2
  • Press this button three times to set the timer for 4 hours.
  • Press this button four times to set the timer for 8 hours. 8
  • Press this button a fifth time to turn off the timer.

Afterwards, the fan switches itself off automatically.

MODE KNOB

In addition to the normal ventilation mode, the fan also has two other modes: natural and sleep. Using this button, it is possible to switch the ventilation mode from the natural mode to the sleep mode.

Natural mode

Press the mode button once to activate the natural mode. The corresponding indicator light illuminates ⬆. The fan simulates a natural breeze by systematically alternating between different speeds.

The button for the speed settings allows you to choose from three speeds within the natural mode. The selected speed will be in operation most often.

Sleep mode

Press the mode button twice to activate the sleep mode. The corresponding indicator light illuminates 🌐. Thefandistributesanaturalbreezethatdecreasesinspeedeveryhalfhour.

  • Highest speed: the fan operates for 30 minutes at the highest natural mode speed, then switches to the medium natural mode speed mode for 30 minutes and then works at the low natural mode.
  • Medium speed: the fan operates in the medium natural mode speed for 30 minutes and then switches to the low natural mode speed.
  • Low speed: the fan works in the same cycle as the low natural mode speed.

Press the mode button a third time to switch back to ventilation mode.

FAN DIRECTION

You can adjust the ventilation direction up or down by 30^ , 60^ or 90^ . This is done by pushing the fan head up or down. You will hear a click when the fan head is correctly positioned.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • This fan requires very little maintenance. Never try to repair the fan yourself. If it is defective, have it checked and/or repaired by a qualified person.
    · Prior to assembling the fan or cleaning it, remove the plug from the outlet.
  • Keep the rear grill free of dust and other substances in order to allow free circulation of the air around the motor. Do not disassemble the fan to remove dust from the motor.
    · You may clean the exterior of the machine with a soft moist cloth.
    · Never use corrosive or abrasive products to clean the machine.
    · Make sure that no water gets into the motor of the machine.
