Stand fan with mist function (EN)

Before use make sure to read all of the below instructions in order to avoid injury or damage, and to get the best results from the appliance. Make sure to keep this manual in a safe place. If you give or transfer this appliance to someone else make sure to also include this manual.

In case of damage caused by user failing to follow the instructions in this manual the warranty will be void. The manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages caused by failure to follow the manual, a negligent use or use not in accordance with the requirements of this manual.

  1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

  2. Children shall not play with the appliance.

  3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

  4. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

  5. Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.

  6. Before inserting the plug into the mains socket, please check that the voltage and frequency comply with the specifications on the rating label.

  7. If an extension cord is used it must be suited to the power consumption of the appliance, otherwise overheating of the extension cord and/or plug may occur. There is a potential risk of injuries from tripping over the extension cord. Be careful to avoid dangerous situations.

  8. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use and before cleaning.

  9. Ensure that the mains cable is not hung over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and open flames.

  10. Do not immerse the appliance or the mains plug in water or other liquids. There is danger to life due to electric shock!

  11. To remove the plug from the plug socket, pull the plug. Do not pull the power cord.
  12. Do not plug or unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
  13. Never attempt to open the housing of the appliance, or to repair the appliance yourself. This could cause electric shock.
  14. Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
  15. This appliance is not designed for commercial use.
  16. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
  17. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
  18. Do not store or operate the appliance in the open air.
  19. Keep the appliance in a dry place for storage, inaccessible to children (in its packaging).
  20. Never put fingers or any other objects through the fan guards when the fan is running.
  21. Never operate the product without the fan guards in place, as serious personal injury may result.
  22. The appliance must be assembled completely before use.
  23. Watch out for long hair! It can be caught in the fan owing to the air turbulence.
  24. Do not point the air flow at people for a long time.
  25. This appliance is for indoor use only.
  26. Do not place objects on top of the appliance.
  27. Do not carry the appliance while it is operating.
  28. Place it on a secure and level area. Keep out of reach of children to prevent any accident.
  29. Unauthorized use and technical modifications to the appliance can lead to danger to life and health.
  30. Do not push any objects into the appliance. Do not disassemble the appliance.
  31. Disconnect from mains before filling, maintenance and cleaning.
  32. Ensure that the fan is switched off from the supply mains before removing the guard.

PARTS DESCRIPTION & ASSEMBLY

• Before use, please check the four casters (1) are already installed onto the standing base (2) firmly.
- Insert the motor unit (3) into the main body (4). Fix with the screw (5) on the back.
- Loosen the plastic fastening screw (6) and the four pieces of M5*20 screws (7) with washers (8) on the bottom of the main body.
- Insert the main body into the standing base. Fix with the plastic fastening screw and the M5*20 screws with washers.
- Loosen the fastening screw (9) on the motor shaft (10). Attach the rear fan guard (11) onto the motor shaft. Make sure the guard fits properly. Tighten back the fastening screw.
- Remove the protection sleeve from the motor shaft. Insert the fan blade (12) onto the motor shaft. Tighten the blade screw (13) to secure the fan blade.
- Hook the front fan guard (14) onto the rear fan guard. Fix with the clasp (15) and then secure with the screw (16).
- Insert the hose (17) into the hole on the main body.
- Remote control (18) can be stored on the top of the main body.

Remote control

This unit has a remote control. Please use 2x1.5V AAA batteries for this remote control. Please insert the batteries to the remote control tightly. If it is not in use for a long time, please take the batteries out of the remote control. The functions of the remote control buttons are the same as the functions of the buttons on the control panel.

OPERATION

Water tank is located at the front of the body. (Fig.1) Fill the water tank with cold water before use. (Fig.2)

Connect the appliance to a suitable power source. Then press the control panel or the remote control to choose your desired functions.

  1. On/off button: Press “💡” to turn the appliance on. It will work with the following presetting: Speed: 1 / Mode: normal / Timer: off / Swing: off / Mist: off.

Press “💡” again to turn off the appliance. The appliance will be in standby mode.

In standby mode, the unit will retain speed setting and swing function of the former settings when turn on the unit again; but if you pull out the plug from the socket, the former settings will all be lost.

  1. Speed button: Press “☐” to adjust the speed: 1= low wind speed; 2= medium wind speed; 3= high wind speed.

  2. Mode button: Press “=” to choose the mode functions from Normal “” → Natural “” → Sleeping “... (Repeating).

- Normal: The appliance works with the same wind speed all the time.

- Natural: Wind speed changes randomly with short time suspended.

- Sleeping: Wind speed changes generally from high to low with short time suspended.

  1. Timer button: Press “L” to set your desired working time from 1h →2h →3h ... →9h →off. When the set time has elapsed, the fan will be off and under standby condition.

  2. Swing button: Press “☐” to control the oscillation function on or off.

  3. Mist button: Press “💡” to control the mist function on or off. Mist function can also be operable separately under standby mode.

  4. After use, switch off the appliance and unplug it. Note: Refill the water tank when the icon “💡” flashes in red.

Note:

  1. After the timer is set, the digital display will show back to the speed setting and extinguish in approx. 30 seconds. If you want to check the remaining working time, firstly press any button to illuminate the digital display and then press the timer button. The remaining working time will be shown on the digital display.

  2. Under standby mode, the mist function can be operable separately and users can set the desired working time of the mist function. Firstly, press the mist button to turn on the mist function and then press the timer button to set the desired working time. When the set time has elapsed, the mist function will be off.

Clean and maintain the product in the following situations.

- After use

- Changing water

• Used again after long-term storage

  1. Before cleaning, cut off the power, unplug the appliance and wait for the fan motor to completely stop rotating.

  2. Clean the dirt on the surface of the fan, which can be gently wiped off with a clean and soft cloth.

  3. Please use a soft cloth or the narrow-slit suction nozzle of the vacuum cleaner to clean the dust on the outside of the fan or fan blades.

  4. Do not rinse directly with water.

  5. Do not wipe with thinner, toluene, acid lotion and oil. Do not wipe the fan body with detergent to avoid discoloration and deterioration.

  6. For storage after cleaning, please wrap it with original packaging materials and store in a dry place.

  7. If you do not use it for a long time, please completely drain the water inside the water tank and the water tank seat. Place the water tank in a dry and well-ventilated place. After the whole machine is dry, you can pack it for storage.

Please remove the water tank from the main body before cleaning and maintenance.

■ Cleaning and maintenance of water tank (daily)

If the water tank is dirty, please soak the water tank with a diluted neutral detergent of kitchen for 5-10 minutes. After the dirt is dissolved, pour out the sewage and wipe dry. Please wash off the detergent carefully, otherwise it may not work properly or cause detergent ingredients to be sprayed. Be sure to use the neutral detergent of the kitchen. If chlorine-based, acid-based, and enzyme-based detergents remain inside the product, toxic gas may be generated, which is very dangerous.

■ Cleaning and maintenance of the water tank seat (the place where the water tank is located) (daily)

  1. Use a dry cloth to soak up the remaining water in the water tank seat. If there is still have water, please repeat the action of soak up.

  2. Please gently wipe the inside of the tank seat with a soft damp cloth dampened with a little detergent.

  3. Be sure to use the neutral detergent of the kitchen. If chlorine-based, acid-based, and enzyme-based detergents remain inside the product, toxic gas may be generated, which is very dangerous.

  4. Please wipe the ultrasonic vibrator gently with cotton swab after dabbed with detergent. (Fig.3)

  5. Do not use too much force when cleaning, otherwise the product may be damaged or leak.

  6. Please clean the inside of the water tank seat carefully, wipe off the moisture with a soft cloth and dry it.

  7. Please wash off the detergent carefully, otherwise it may not work properly or cause detergent ingredients to be sprayed.
