2 Important Instructions Regarding Safety and Environment This chapter contains safety information that will help you avoid the risk personal injury or property damage. Failure to follow these instructions shall render any product warranty void. Intended use

Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacturer. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as – staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; – farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; – bed and breakfast type environments; – catering and similar non-retail applications. - This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. - Unplug the product during installation, care, cleaning and repairing procedures.
- Always have the Authorised Service Provider install the product and establish its electrical connections. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for damages caused by procedures performed by unauthorised persons.
- Do not eat cone ice cream or ice cubes immediately after you take them out of the freezer compartment! This may cause frostbite in your mouth!
- Do not touch frozen food with wet hands! They may stick to your hand!
- Do not put bottled or canned liquid beverages in the freezer compartment. They may burst!
- Never use steam or steam cleaners to clean or defrost the refrigerator. Steam gets into contact with the live parts in your refrigerator, causing short circuit or electric shock! t WARNING: When positioning the appliance, ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged.If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. t WARNING: Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or portable power supplies at the rear of the appliance.

- Never use the parts in your refrigerator such as the door and drawer as a means of support or step. This may cause the product to tip over or damage the parts of it.
- Do not damage the parts where the refrigerant is circulating with drilling or cutting tools. The refrigerant that might blow out when the gas channels of the evaporator, pipe extensions or surface coatings are punctured causes skin irritations and eye injuries.
- Do not cover or block the ventilation holes in your refrigerator with any object.
- Place the beverage with higher proofs tightly closed and vertically.
- Do not use gaseous sprays near the product since there is the risk or fire or explosion!
- Flammable items or products that contain flammable gases (e.g. spray) as well as explosive materials should never be kept in the appliance.EN
- Do not place vessels filled with liquid onto the product. Splashing water on an electrical part may cause electric chock or the risk of fire.
- Do not store items that need precise temperature adjustment (such as vaccines, heat-sensitive medication, science materials etc.) in the refrigerator.
- If you are not going to use the product for a long time, unplug it and remove the food in it.
- If there is a blue light on the refrigerator, do not look at this light with optical tools.
- Exposing the product to rain, snow, sun or wind is dangerous in terms of electrical safety.
- In products with mechanical control (thermostat), wait for 5 minutes to plug in the product again after unplugging.
- Do not overload the refrigerator. Objects in the refrigerator may fall down when the door is opened, causing injury or damage. Similar problems may arise if any object is placed onto the product.
- If the product has a door handle, do not pull the handle when re-locating the product. The handle might be loose.
- Be careful not to jam your hand or any other body part in the moving parts of the refrigerator.
- Do not put your hand or any other foreign materials into the ice machine while it is operating. Hydrocarbon (HC) Warning
- If your product’s cooling system contains R600a: This gas is flammable. Therefore, pay attention not to damage the cooling system or the piping during use and transportation. If damaged, keep the product away from potential fire sources that may cause it to catch fire and ventilate the room where the product is placed.
If the product is damaged and if you see gas leak, please keep away from the gas. It may cause frostbite when it gets into contact with the skin. (including R134)
Ignore this warning if the cooling system of your product contains R134a.
Type of gas used in the product is stated on the type plate which is on the left wall inside the refrigerator.
Never throw the product into fire for disposal. For Products with a Water Dispenser/Ice Machine
- Pressure for cold water inlet shall be maximum 90 psi (620 kPa). If your water pressure exceeds 80 psi (550 kPa), use a pressure limiting valve in your mains system. If you do not know how to check your water pressure, ask for the help of a professional plumber.
- If there is a risk of water impact in your installation, always use aEN
water impact protection equipment in that installation. Please consult professional plumbers if you are not sure if there is water impact in your installation.
- Do not make installation on the hot water inlet.
- Use drinking water only.
- Take the necessary measures against the freezing risk of the hoses. The water temperature operating range must be 0.6°C (33°F) minimum and 38°C (100°F) maximum.
Never connect the product to a cold water mains with a pressure of 550 kPa (80 psi) or above. Intended Use
- This product has been designed for domestic use. It is not suitable for commercial use and it must not be used out of its intended use.
- It must be used only for storing food.
- The manufacturer will not take any responsibility for damages resulting from improper use or transport.
- Original spare parts will be available for 10 years after the purchase date of the product. Children’s Safety
- If there is a lock on the door of the product, the key should be kept out of the reach of children.
- Do not let children play with the product.
- Children may get locked inside.
- Leave the shelves to prevent children from getting inside the product easily. Recommendations for the fresh food compartment *May not be available in all models Do not allow the food to touch the temperature sensor in fresh food compartment. 3 Installation B Please remember that the manufacturer shall not be held liable if the information given in the instruction manual is not observed. Points to be considered when re-transporting your refrigerator
1. Your refrigerator must be
emptied and cleaned prior to any transportation.
2. Shelves, accessories, crisper and etc.
in your refrigerator must be fastened securely by adhesive tape against any jolt before repackaging.
3. Packaging must be tied with thick
tapes and strong ropes and the rules of transportation printed on the package must be followed. Please do not forget… Every recycled material is an indispensable source for the nature and for our national resources. If you wish to contribute to recycling the packaging materials, you can get further information from the environmental bodies or local authorities. and can the air circulate freely in the rear of it?

Disposing of the packaging The packing materials may be EBOHFSPVTGPSDIJMESFO,FFQUIF packing materials out of the reach of children or dispose of them by classifying them in accordance with the waste instructions stated by your local authorities. Do not dispose of them along with the normal household waste. The packing of your refrigerator is produced from recyclable materials. Placing and Installation A If the entrance door of the room where the refrigerator will be installed is not wide enough for the refrigerator to pass through, then call the authorized service to have them remove the doors of your refrigerator and pass it sideways through the door.

Connecting the water hose to the refrigerator

Adjusting the legs If your refrigerator is unbalanced; You can balance your refrigerator by turning its front legs as illustrated in the figure. C The ambient temperature of the room where you install your refrigerator should at least be 10°C. Operating your refrigerator under cooler conditions is not recommended with regard to its efficiency. C Please make sure that the interior of your refrigerator is cleaned thoroughly. C If two refrigerators are to be installed side by side, there should be at least 20 mm distance between them. C When you operate your refrigerator for the first time, please observe the following instructions during the initial six hours. - The door should not be opened frequently. - It must be operated empty without any food in it. - Do not unplug your refrigerator. If a power failure occurs out of your control, please see the warnings in the “Recommended solutions for the problems” section. C Original packaging and foam materials should be kept for future transportations or moving. CSince hot and humid air will not directly penetrate into your product when the doors are not opened, your product will optimize itself in conditions sufficient to protect your food. Functions and components such as compressor, fan, heater, defrost, lighting, display and so on will operate according to the needs to consume minimum energy under these circumstances.EN 15EN

1. Fridge compartment indicator
Fridge compartment light is illuminated while the fridge compartment temperature is set.
2. Error status indicator
If your refrigerator does not perform enough cooling or in case of a sensor fault, this indicator is activated. When this indicator is activated, “E” is displayed on the freezer compartment temperature indicator, and numbers such as “1,2,3...” are displayed on the fridge compartment temperature indicator. These numbers on the indicator inform service personnel about the error.

Fridge compartment light is illuminated while the freezer compartment temperature is set.
8. Economy mode indicator
Indicates that the refrigerator operates in energy saving mode. This display shall be activated if the freezer compartment temperature is set to -18°C / 0°F.
9. Vacation function indicator
Indicates that vacation is activated.
10. *Automatic Ice Machine Off/On
indicator This symbol appears on the display when Ice Off function is activated.
Sabbath Mode: *OPTIONAL Press Select and Set buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. PS and 0 alternates on the display. Press the “Set” button nine times to select “9” and Press “Select” to confirm “9”. Than, the display shows SA. Sabbath mode is activated. The display does not work in Sabbath mode, no door open alarm is given, lightings will not work. The cooling algorithm specific to the Sabbath is activated. In sabbath mode, User must press the select and set keys simultaneously for 3 sec to deactivate the Sabbath mode. After 72 hours, the Sabbath Mode ends automatically unless the user deactivate itself.! both at the same time 3 sec. PressEN
Freezer Compartment Adjustment Fridge Compartment Adjustment Explanations -18°C/0°F 4°C/39ºF. This is the normal recommended setting. -20°C/-4°F 3°C/37°F. These settings are recommended when the ambient temperature exceeds 86°F/30°C. Quick Freeze 4°C/39°F. Use when you wish to freeze your food in a short time. Your refrigerator will return to its previous mode when the process is over. -18°C/0°F or colder 3°C/37°F. If you think that your fridge compartment is not cold enough because of the hot conditions or frequent opening and closing of the door. -18°C/0°F or colder Quick Fridge You can use it when your fridge compartment is overloaded or if you wish to cool down your food rapidly. It is recommended that you activate quick fridge function 4-8 hours before placing the food. -15°C/5°F 4°C/39°F Use this freezer setting if you are using freezer compartment mainly ice-cream storage. Recommended Using Temparature: FF: 4°C /40 °F Frz : -18°C/0 °F Door Open Warning *May not be available in all models An audio warning signal will be given when the door of your product is left open for at least 1 minute. This warning will be muted when the door is closed or any of the display buttons (if any) are pressed.EN
Freezing fresh food t It must be preferred to wrap or cover the food before placing them in the refrigerator. t Hot food must cool down to the room temperature before putting them in the refrigerator. t The foodstuff that you want to freeze must be fresh and in good quality. t Foodstuff must be divided into portions according to the family’s daily or meal based consumption needs. t The foodstuff must be packaged in an airtight manner to prevent them from drying even if they are going to be kept for a short time. t Materials to be used for packaging must be tear-proof and resistant to cold, humidity, odor, oils and acids and they must also be airtight. Moreover, they must be well closed and they must be made from easy- to-use materials that are suitable for deep freeze usage. t Frozen food must be used immediately after they are thawed and they should never be re-frozen. t Please observe the following instructions to obtain the best results.
1. Do not freeze too large quantities
of food at one time. The quality of the food is best preserved when it is frozen right through to the core as quickly as possible.

Foodstuff to be frozen should not be allowed to come in contact with the previously frozen items to prevent their partial thawing. Frozen food must be used immediately after they are thawed and they should never be re-frozen.EN
Egg section You can place the egg section in any of the door shelves. If it is going to be placed in the body, the lower shelves are recommended due them being cooler. Never store eggs in the freezer compartment. Avoid direct contact between eggs and other foods. Blue light *May not be available in all models Foodstuff stored in the crispers that are enlightened with a blue light continue their photosynthesis by means of the wavelength effect of blue light and thus, preserve their freshness and increase their vitamin content. Ice Machine (in some models) Auto Ice machine system allows you to obtain ice from the refrigerator easily. After the water system pipe connection will be done, the ice can be taken from the ice drawer. First ice cubes will be ready in approximately 2 hours in the Ice machine drawer located in the freezer compartment. Do not put water in it to make ice as it may break. The ice container is not used for storing foods.EN
Description and cleaning of odor filter *May not be available in all models Odor filter prevents unpleasant odor build-up in your refrigerator. Pull the cover into which the odor filter is installed downwards from the front section and remove as illustrated. -FBWFUIFGJMUFSVOEFSTVOMJHIUGPSPOF day. Filter will be cleaned during this time. Install the filter back to its place. Odor filter must be cleaned once in a year. Humidity Controlled Crisper (EverFresh+) *optional Humidity controlled crisper feature keeps the humidity of vegetables and fruits under control and allows keeping the food fresh for a much longer time. We recommend you to place vegetables with leaves such as lettuce, spinach and vegetables vulnerable to humidity loss not vertical on their roots but horizontal in the crispers. While placing the vegetables consider their weight and place the heavy and solid vegetable to the bottom, light and soft vegetables to the top. Do not leave vegetables within QMBTUJDCBHTJOUIFDSJTQFST-FBWJOH vegetables in plastic bags will make them spoil in a very short time. If it is required to separate vegetables for hygienic purposes, then use porous paper packing materials instead of plastic bags. Do not place fruits, mainly apple and also pear, apricot, peach etc. which produce ethylene gas together with other vegetables-fruits in the same crisper. The ethylene produced by these fruits will cause other vegetables-fruits to mature rapidly and then cause them to spoil in a shorter time.EN
6 Maintenance and cleaning ANever use gasoline, benzene or similar substances for cleaning purposes. BWe recommend that you unplug the appliance before cleaning. BNever use any sharp abrasive instrument, soap, household cleaner, detergent and wax polish for cleaning. CUse lukewarm water to clean the cabinet of your refrigerator and wipe it dry. CUse a damp cloth wrung out in a solution of one teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda to one pint of water to clean the interior and wipe it dry. BMake sure that no water enters the lamp housing and other electrical items. BIf your refrigerator is not going to be used for a long period of time, unplug the power cable, remove all food, clean it and leave the door ajar. ANever use cleaning agents or water that contain chlorine to clean the outer surfaces and chromium coated parts of the product. Chlorine causes corrosion on such metal surfaces. ADo not use sharp, abrasive tools, soap, household cleaning agents, detergents, kerosene, fuel oil, varnish etc. to prevent removal and deformation of the prints on the plastic part. Use lukewarm water and a soft cloth for cleaning and then wipe it dry. - Foods containing liquids are kept in un- sealed holders. >>> Keep the foods containing liquids in sealed holders.
- The product’s door is left open. >>> Do not keep the product’s door open for long periods.
- The thermostat is set to too low tempe- rature. >>> Set the thermostat to app- ropriate temperature. Compressor is not working.
- In case of sudden power failure or pul- ling the power plug off and putting back on, the gas pressure in the product’s co- oling system is not balanced, which trig- gers the compressor thermic safegu- ard. The product will restart after appro- ximately 6 minutes. If the product does not restart after this period, contact the service.
- Defrosting is active. >>> This is normal for a fully-automatic defrosting product. The defrosting is carried out periodically.
- The product is not plugged in. >>> Make sure the power cord is plugged in.

- The freezer or cooler door may be ajar. >>> Check that the doors are fully closed.EN
- The product may be set to temperature too low. >>> Set the temperature to a higher degree and wait for the product to reach the adjusted temperature.
- The cooler or freezer door washer may be dirty, worn out, broken or not properly settled. >>> Clean or replace the was- her. Damaged / torn door washer will ca- use the product to run for longer periods to preserve the current temperature. The freezer temperature is very low, but the cooler temperature is adequate.
