Minibar / User Manual This section contains safety instruc- tions that will help protect from risk of personal injury or property dam- age. Failure to follow these instructions invalidates the granted warranty.

  • Minibar needs to be away from heat resources such as oven, stove, etc and direct sunlight.
  • Minibar needs to perform and stand on a stable, smooth & flat floor without shaking.
  • If two coolers are placing next to each other, leave 10cm space be- tween and 6 cm from sides. Back ventilation grill must not allowed to be closed. Air ventilation on the back side of the Cooling unit must not allowed to be inhibited .
  • Ambient temperature needs to be between 16-32°C for an optimum performance of a minibar.
  • Usage voltage of the minibar has been indicated on the back of the product and/or on the label inside the product. Problems occurred according to inappropriate con- nections will be out of warranty.
  • Network connections needs to be made by an authorized electrician. Use earthed plug. Breakdowns re- garding electricity network will be out of warranty.
  • Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flam- mable propellant in this appliance.
  • If the minibar is not standing on the floor freely and installed in or under a material, appropriate ven- tilation of the cooling unit on the back side needs to be provided.
  • This appliance can be used by chil- dren aged from 8 years and above and persons with reuced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they habe been given supervi- sion or instruciton concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the ap- pliance. Cleaning and user maint- ance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • This appliance is intended to be used is household and similar ap- plications such as – Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working en- vironments; – Farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels and other resi- dential type environments;

  • Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compart- ments of the appliance.
  • Do not put liquid oils or oil-cooked meals in your refrigerator in un- sealed containers as they may damage the surfaces of your appliance. In case of spilling or smearing oil on the surfaces, clean and rinse the relevant part of the surface at once with warm water.
  • Never use gasoline, benzene or similar substances for cleaning purposes.
  • We recommend that you unplug the appliance before cleaning.
  • Minibar is designed to cool bever- ages, do not keep food .
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufac- turer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • Check the minibar whether it is defective or damaged while tak- ing over the minibar’s package.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • This appliance is free from CFCs / HCFCs. The cooling unit uses am- monia as the coolant. Cyclopen- tane, which does not damage the ozone layer, is used as propellant for the insulation made from PU- foam.

1.2 Compliance with the WEEE

Directive and Disposing of the Waste Product: This product complies with EU WEEE Directive (2012/19/EU). This product bears a classification symbol for waste electrical and electronic equip- ment (WEEE). This product has been manufactured with high quality parts and materials which can be reused and are suitable for recycling. Do not dispose of the waste product with normal domestic and other wastes at the end of its service life. Take it to the collection center for the recycling of elec- trical and electronic equipment. Please consult your local authorities to learn about these collec- tion centers.

1.3 Compliance with RoHS

Directive The product you have purchased complies with EU RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU). It does not contain harmful and prohibited materials specified in the Directive.

1.4 Package information

Packaging materials of the product are manufactured from recyclable materi- als in accordance with our National Environment Regulations. Do not dis- pose of the packaging materials together with the domestic or other wastes. Take them to the pack- aging material collection points designated by the local authorities.

Appliance is intended for household use and stores, personnel kitchens in offices and other work environments; use by customers of farm houses and hotels and other accommodation type environments; hostel type places; food and bever-age services and similar non-retail applications. When unpacking the minibar check that nothing is missing or damaged. Damage in transit must be reported immediately to the carriers.

3.2 lnstallation of the minibar

  • The best refregirating performance at the least power consuption is achieved by placing the minibar not too close to source of the heat and away from the sunlight.The minibar must be in-stalled in a way that it is quite level (use a spirit level in order to ensure satisfactory oper ation of the absorber unit. Place the mini bar so that the circulation of air around the absorber unit is not obstructed. The rear ventilation grid must bu uncovered. The rear of the minibar should be at least about 10 em clear of a wall. WARNING: if the minibar is not standing free but built into or under something, adequate ventilation of the absorber unit on the back of the minibar must be un sured. The open crossection available to the incom-ing and outgoing air must be at least 200 em. How to change around the door and mount the slipe hinge the door is designed for hinging on the ring or the left hand side. For chan-ing around, loosen the hinge link pin and fix it on the opposite side. The sliding unit of the slip hinge is fac-torymounted and is also changed from one side to the other. All bores required herefor have been ap plied.
  • The slip hinge fishplate is supplied separately. Slide it into the mat ing unit while the door is 90° open with the fixing holes projectiong this position. Make sure the door is absolutely level before tightening the screws. There must be a 6 mm clearance between minibar and cabinet door, and the door may not be rest on the sur-rounding furniture when it is closed. There is a lock placed on the front side of the door. For ensuring that the door can be securely locked, make sure the clearanceis 1 to 2 mm.

3.3 Electrical operation

  • Before taking the minibar into service , check whether the voltage stated on the rating-plate (inside the storage compar ment) is the same as the main voltage. The mains cable is fixed at the appliance and must be plugged into a properly earthed wail socket or an earthed fixed con-nection in accordance with regu lations.lf the mains cord has to be re placed, a spare part is obtainable from the agent for your area. The appliance is equipped with an elec tronic tem-perature control unit. The thermostat knob is located inside at lower rear part of the cabinet. The thermostat should be set to a me dium position: Pushing the thermostat knob to the right causes a colder tem perature in the cool-ing compartment by pulling the knob to the left, the tempera ture will get warmer. On position off the minibar is switched off.
  • Put the ice dishes, filled with water, on the place provided for them the evapora tor. To make ice quickly set the thermo stat to highest to setting. It is easier to take the ice cubes out if you hold the dish under a running tap.Minibar / User Manual 9 / 20 EN

The Interior light, working on mains, is switched by a sensor. If a bulb has to be replaced, proceed as follows.

  • All minibars with metal housing may be inte- grated into suitable furniture. Please note that the cooling unit must be properly ventilated. The diagrams illustrate ways of installing a min- ibar. The ventilation opening must be at least 200mm. If you don’t have ventilation for your mini bar ,the minibar might give faulty results.10 / 20 EN Minibar / User Manual

Cleaning and maintenance

4.1 Cleaning of the minibar

Turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning it.

Never use gasoline, solvent, abrasive cleaning agents, metal objects or hard brushes to clean the appliance. After the defrosting procedure you should wipe the internal surface of the cooler/freezer with diluted sodium bicarbonate solution. Then rinse and dry with warm water using a sponge or cloth. Wash the shelves with soapy water and make sure that they dried completely before placing back in appliance.

  • It is advisable to clean the minibar inside and outside with lukewarm water (add a little mild, non-abrasivedetergant) before taking it into the service. Then rinse it with tap water and dry it well. Do not use soap or sharp , grainy cleaning agents under any circumstances, in particular not those containing soda. Clean the internal equipment in the same way. The PVC door seal must not come in contact with oil or grease. It re- tains it’s softness will last a long time if you wipe it occasionally with talcum powder, in particular on the hinge side. At about yearly intervals clean the unit at the back of the minibar by means of a brushsoft rag. It does not require any other kind of attention.
