How to install the Facecam Pro 4K60?

Download and install the Camera Hub app on your PC or Mac. Connect the webcam directly to a USB 3.0 port (minimum 5 Gbit/s) using the included USB-C cable. Do not use a USB hub. Attach the webcam to your screen or to a mount with a 1/4" thread.

What are the supported resolutions?

The webcam supports the following resolutions: 2160p60 (4K at 60 fps), 2160p30, 1080p60, 1080p30, 720p60, and 720p30.

How to reset the webcam?

Press and hold the RESET button on the webcam for about five seconds. This restores the default settings (focus, saturation, shutter speed).

Is the webcam compatible with macOS?

Yes, it is compatible with macOS via the UVC protocol. You can use the Camera Hub app for advanced settings.

What type of cable to use?

Use the included USB-C to USB-C cable. If you use a USB-C to USB-A cable, make sure it supports data transfer at 5 Gbit/s and power delivery of 7.5 W.

How to clean the lens?

Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently clean the lens. Do not use paper towels or detergent.

Can the webcam be used with a tripod?

Yes, the Facecam Pro 4K60 has a standard 1/4" thread for mounting on a tripod or Elgato Multi Mount.

What is the minimum focus distance?

Autofocus works from 10 cm to infinity.

Does the webcam work with Zoom?

Yes, it is compatible with Zoom, as well as OBS, Teams, Skype, Slack, Google Meet, and FaceTime.

How to attach the webcam to a screen?

Use the included mount: clip the Facecam Pro onto the top of your screen. You can also screw it onto a 1/4" threaded mount.

Mount Facecam Pro on your monitor.

Installation

Download and install the Camera Hub app.

Connect Facecam Pro directly to a USB 3.0 port (minimum transfer rate of 5 Gbit/s, or better) on your PC or Mac – do not use a USB hub.

Use the supplied USB-C-to-C cable. If using a USB-C-to-A cable, make sure it supports 5 Gbit/s data transfer and 7.5 watts power delivery.

Maintenance

Do not cover the air vents. Doing so may cause overheating.

Reset

While Facecam is powered on, press and hold the RESET button for five seconds to reset your current settings like focus, saturation or shutter speed to factory defaults.
