USER MANUAL TCR102 TECHWOOD

Dear consumer, Please read these instructions carefully before use in order to avoid damage due to incorrect use and to better understand the functions of this product. Please pay particular attention to the safety guide. If you pass the device on to a third party, these Operating Instructions must also be handed over. Please keep them for future references.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Before cleaning the steamer, always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool.
  • Remove the cover and the internal container of the cooker.
  • Parts (removable), in contact with food such as: container, lid, Bowl, Fork, Spatula etc. ; can be cleaned in hot water with a sponge and washing up liquid or washed in the dishwasher.

  • Do not use any metal tools or iron wool on the outside of the appliance or on the cooking container, as this may damage them.
  • Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid!
  • To clean the plate and the electrical resistance use iron wool to polish or to remove residues. Clean with a damp cloth, dry completely before using the device again.
  • Keep the heating plate and the resistance out of contact with any object, if not, the appliance may no longer function properly.
  • Any residue of vinegar or salt can cause your internal container to erode. Clean it thoroughly after each use.

4. Non-stick container

FIRST USE The rice cooker provides a simple method of perfect rice cooking. The warm function automatically keeps the rice warm, fluffy and ready to serve for up to 5 hours.8

Many other foods can be cooked in the rice cooker such as vegetables, fish, meat, seafood and poultry. Before first use, remove the unit and all accessories carefully. Clean with soap and water, bowls and all accessories. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Clean the outside and inside of the machine cabinet with a damp cloth and wipe dry. USE

  • Unroll the power cord completely.
  • Check that the tension in force in the country where you are, corresponds to that indicated on the apparatus.
  • Connect the apparatus in a correct socket-outlet, (and connected to the ground if the unit is Class I), to avoid any danger.
  • Disconnect the power cable from the mains before any maintenance cleaning and fitting of accessories.
  • Set the ON / OFF button (1A) on “ I ” position. The pilot light will light up.
  • At the end of cooking, the cooker will automatically move to "Keep Warm" function.

Notes : Always place the inner container in the cooker before use. The cooker will only work if the internal container is correctly in place. Always set the "On / Off" switch to Off after use Otherwise, the cooker will be powered. (if it stays connected). Always place the lid on the appliance during cooking.

  • Leave the lid in place after serving to prevent the rice from drying out.
  • To reheat cold rice, add cold water, a quarter of the measure per measure of rice, stir, then place the button on "Cooking". After a few minutes, set the selector to "Keep warm" or switch off the appliance. Note : For easy use, the internal container is graduated to put the adequate amount of water. A measuring cup is provided. Using the measuring cup provided, measure and place the rice in the internal container. (One full measurement equals one cup). Examples of how much water to add to the container.9

For softer rice, mix the rice with water in the inner container and allow to soak for 10 minutes before cooking. Notes : When the rice is cooked, the cooker selector will be positioned automatically on "Keep warm" function. After cooking, let the rice stand for at least 5 minutes without removing the cover. This will ensure perfect cooking. Brown rice takes longer to cook and we recommend adding the 2/3 of a measure of water to suit the cooking time. Advice for quick cleaning Put half a measure of water and a little liquid dishwashing detergent in the internal container. Set the switch to "Cooking". and let it heat for 10 minutes. Stop and Unplug the appliance. Let cool.10

Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reuse. STORAGE -Ensure the unit is completely cool and dry. -Do not wrap the cord around the appliance, as this will cause damage. -Keep the appliance in a cool, dry place and out of reach from children.

GUARANTEE IN ACCORDANCE WITH REGULATIONS
