Is the Nedis DUMCB40GY camera a real recording camera?

No, it is a dummy camera (fake camera) designed to deter intruders. It does not film or record any images.

How to activate the flashing LED?

Insert 2 AA 1.5 V batteries (not included) into the battery compartment respecting the polarities. The LED then lights up automatically.

What type of batteries to use and how many?

Use 2 AA (LR6) 1.5 V alkaline batteries. Batteries are not included.

Is the camera waterproof?

Yes, it has an IP44 protection rating: resistant to splashes and dust, but not submersible.

How to install the camera?

Use the provided mounting bracket and fix it to the wall with the included screws and wall plugs. Make sure the battery compartment is properly closed after inserting batteries.

Can it be cleaned with water?

No, clean only with a dry cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive products.

Is the warranty valid if I modify the camera?

Any alteration or modification of the product voids the warranty. Use the product according to the manual.

How to dispose of the camera at end of life?

Do not dispose of it with household waste. Take it to an appropriate collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment.

Where can I find the manual in French?

What to do if the LED does not flash after inserting batteries?

Check that the batteries are inserted in the correct direction (+ and -) and that they are new. If the problem persists, contact Nedis customer service.
