How to clean the grease filter of the Faure FFV919Y hood?

To clean the grease filter, open the cover, press the clip lever, tilt the filter downwards then pull it out. Clean it with a sponge and non-abrasive detergent, or in the dishwasher on a short cycle at low temperature. Reinstall in reverse order. It must be cleaned at least once a month.

How often should the charcoal filter be replaced?

The charcoal filter must be replaced at least every four months. It is not washable or regenerable. The saturation time varies depending on the type of cooking and the frequency of cleaning the grease filter.

How to activate the Breeze function on the hood?

The Breeze function refreshes the air after cooking at a very low noise level. It is activated by pressing the corresponding symbol on the control panel and automatically turns off after 60 minutes. Use only after cooking.

What to do if the LED lighting no longer works?

The LED bulb of the hood can only be replaced by a qualified technician. In case of malfunction, contact after-sales service or refer to the Maintenance chapter in the safety instructions.

How to use the Hob to Hood function?

The Hob to Hood function allows an automatic connection between the hob and the hood via an infrared signal. The fan speed adjusts automatically according to the temperature of the hottest pan. You can also activate it manually from the hob. Refer to the hob manual for more details.

How to adjust the motor speed?

Press the On/Off symbol (ⓐ) to turn on the hood, then touch the speed symbols (1 to 4) to select the desired speed. The maximum speed button activates the highest speed for 8 minutes, then returns to the previous setting.

Does the hood turn off automatically after cooking?

Yes, if you use the Breeze function, it turns off automatically after 60 minutes. It is recommended to leave the hood running for about 15 minutes after cooking. The Breeze function is designed for low noise level.

Can I wash the charcoal filter?

No, the charcoal filter is not washable. It cannot be regenerated. It must be replaced with a new one when saturated, at least every four months.

How to reset the filter reminder?

The control panel has a filter reminder symbol (7). Generally, a long press on this symbol resets the indicator after cleaning or replacing the filter. Refer to the full manual for confirmation.

DAILY USE

USING THE HOOD

Check the recommended speed according to the table below.

	While heating up food, cooking with covered pots.
	While cooking with covered pots on multiple cooking zones or burners, gentle frying.
	While boiling and frying big quantities of food without a lid, cooking on multiple cooking zones or burners.
	While boiling and frying big quantities of food without a lid,big humidity.
	Refreshes the air in kitchen after cooking at a very low noiselevel. It can be activated and de-activated by touching thesymbol. The function turns off automatically after 60 min-utes. Use after cooking only.

It is recommended to leave the hood operating for approximately 15 minutes after cooking.

The control Panel is a sensor field. Touch the symbols for 1 second to activate the functions.

To operate the hood:

1. Turn on the appliance by pressing the symbol.
   You can now activate the functions.
2. To activate the function touch the symbol.
3. If needed, touch the light symbol ⚙ to illuminate the cooking surface.

To turn off the appliance press the Ⓐ symbol again.

HOB TO HOOD FUNCTION

It is an automatic function which connects the hob with a hood. Both the hob and the hood have an

CLEANING THE GREASE FILTER

Each filter must be cleaned at least once a month. Filters are mounted with the use of clips and pins on the opposite side.

To clean the filter:

1. Pull the cover to open it.

ACTIVATING MAXIMUM MOTOR SPEED

When you press the button ✦, the Maximum Motor Speed starts to operate for 8 minutes. After that time, the appliance returns to its previous speed settings.

When the function is turned on, additional touch on the button does not have any effects.

1. Slightly tilt the front of the filter downwards (2), then pull.
   Repeat the first two steps for all filters.
2. Clean the filters using a sponge with non abrasive detergents or in a dishwasher.

The dishwasher must be set to a low temperature and a short cycle. The grease filter may discolour, it has no influence on the performance of the appliance.

1. To mount the filters back follow the first two steps in reverse order.

Repeat the steps for all filters if applicable.

REPLACING THE CHARCOAL FILTER

WARNING! The charcoal filter is non-washable!

The time of saturation of the charcoal filter varies depending on the type of cooking and the regularity of cleaning the grease filter.

To replace the filter:

1. Remove the grease filters from the appliance.
   Refer to "Cleaning the grease filter" in this chapter.
2. To install a new filter, perform the same steps in reverse order.

In any case, it is necessary to replace the filters at least every four months.

REPLACING THE CHARCOAL FILTER

The time of saturation of the charcoal filter varies depending on the type of cooking and the regularity of cleaning the grease filter.
