How to pair the earbuds for the first time?

Remove the earbuds from the packaging and remove the protective labels from the charging pins. Place them in the case to charge. Then take them out: they turn on and pair automatically. On your device, enable Bluetooth and select Niceboy HIVE Pods 3 Ultra from the list. A sound signal confirms pairing.

How to turn the earbuds on and off manually?

To turn on, take the earbuds out of the case or press and hold both multifunction keys. To turn off, place them in the case (they turn off automatically) or press both multifunction keys for about 4 seconds. They also turn off after 5 minutes of inactivity.

How to use the touch controls?

Single press on a key: play/pause or answer/hang up. Double press on the right: volume up. Double press on the left: volume down. Long press (2s) on the right: next track or reject a call. Long press on the left: previous track or reject a call. Triple press on the right: activate Gaming mode. Triple press on the left: activate voice assistant.

How to activate Gaming mode?

Briefly press the right multifunction key three times. Gaming mode reduces audio latency for a better gaming experience but increases power consumption.

How to reset the earbuds to factory settings?

Disconnect the earbuds from all paired devices. Make sure they are charging. Press both earbuds simultaneously for 10 seconds until the blue and red LEDs flash. The reset is successful.

How to charge the charging case?

Use the supplied USB-C cable and a 5V/1A power adapter (or a computer USB port, power bank). Plug the cable into the case's USB-C port. The LED diodes flash during charging and stay on for 10 minutes after full charge, then turn off.

What to do if the earbuds do not connect to my phone?

Check that Bluetooth on your phone is enabled. Make sure the earbuds are on (take them out of the case). If necessary, reset the earbuds (see question 5) and re-pair by selecting them in the Bluetooth list.

The Niceboy ION app does not detect the earbuds, how to proceed?

Before using the app, perform a reset of the earbuds (press both earbuds for 10s until blue/red flashing). Then open the app, create an account, enable Bluetooth, and press '+' to add the device. The earbuds should be close to the phone.

How to activate the voice assistant (Siri/Google Assistant)?

Briefly press the left multifunction key three times. Your phone's voice assistant (Siri or Google Assistant) launches. Make sure the assistant is set up on your device.

What do the LED indicators on the earbuds mean?

During pairing, one earbud's LED flashes blue. When the earbuds are in the case, the LED is red during charging and turns off when fully charged. In normal use, the LEDs turn off after connection.

FIRST START-UP AND PAIRING

1. Remove both earphones from the pack and remove the stickers protecting the earphone charging pins (4).
2. Place both earphones in the charging box and let them charge. Durin charging, the LED indicator glows red and turns off once charging is completed.
3. Remove the earphones from the box. They will switch themselves on and pair with each other automatically.
4. After the LED on one of the headphones (2) starts flashing blue, the headphones are ready to connect to a Bluetooth device.
5. Open Bluetooth settings on your device and search for Niceboy HIVE Pods 3 Ultra in the list of available devices.
6. Successful pairing will be announced by an acoustic message and the LEDs (2) will turn off. To reconnect to a device that has already been paired, simply remove the earphones from the box. They will switch on and connect to the device automatically.

SWITCHING ON AND OFF

To switch the earphones on, simply remove them from the charging box, or manually switch them on by pressing and holding both multi-functional buttons. To switch them off, simply place the earphones in the charging box. They will automatically turn off and disconnect from your device. The earphones are placed correctly in the box when the LED (2) lights up in red. When the earphones are fully charged, the LED turns off. You can also turn off the earphones by pressing and holding both multi-functional buttons for approx.4 s. The earphones turn off after 5 minutes of inactivity to save power.

GAMING MODE

The earphones feature gaming mode with very low audio delay. Activate gaming mode by briefly pressing the right multi-functional button three times. Note that this mode drains more power.

CHARGING THE CHARGING BOX

Before using the earphones for the first time, we recommend fully charging the battery. Charge the earphones using the enclosed USB-C cable and any 5 V/1 A power adapter or a USB port on a PC, power bank etc. Plug the charging cable into the USB-C port (6) on the charging box. The LEDs (5) flash while the box is charging. Once charging is complete, they will light up for 10 minutes, then turn off.

CONNECTING TO THE APP

1. Download the app by scanning the QR code using your phone or search for „Niceboy ION“ in the mobile app store and download it.
2. Start the „Niceboy ION“ app and register a new account or sign in with your existing account.
3. Set the password and proceed to „Add device“.
4. Turn on Bluetooth; nearby devices will be detected based on the strength of the signal.
5. Press the „+“ button.
6. Wait for „connection“.
7. If the device was added successfully, "completed" appears on the screen.
8. Your device is now successfully connected.

Note: Reset the earphones to factory settings before pairing them with any new device and connect them to the Niceboy ION app.

FACTORY SETTINGS

1. Disconnect and remove the headphones from the list of all paired devices.
2. Make sure Both earbuds are in the Charging Case. Meanwhile, hold down on each earbud for 10 seconds until the Blue and Red indicators flashes, which means the RESET has succeeded.
