VEHICLE CONDUCTIVE CLAY SET
VEHICLE CONDUCTIVE CLAY SET
- Warning. Not suitable for children under 36 months. Suffocation hazard. Small parts.
- Children may only play with the product under adult supervision.
- Warning. None of the packaging and fastening materials are considered part of the toy and must always be removed for safety reasons before the product can be given to children to play with.
- Do not mix the clay with water.
- The clay is unfit for human consumption.
- Protect play surfaces from product residues.
- Check the product for damage or wear before each use. The product may be used only when in good working order and condition!
- Only use battery types: LR03 and LR41. Warnings on batteries!
- Remove the batteries if they are empty or if the product is not going to be used for an extended period.
- Do not use different battery types or brands, new and used batteries in combination, or batteries with different capacities, as they leak and can thus cause damage.
- Observe the polarity (+/-) when inserting batteries.
- Change all batteries at the same time and dispose of the old batteries properly.
- Warning! Batteries may not be charged or reactivated in any way. They may not be dis- mantled, thrown into fire, or short-circuited.
- Always keep batteries out of the reach of children.
- Do not use rechargeable batteries!
- The cleaning and user-maintenance may not be carried out by children without supervision.
- Clean the batteries and the device contacts as necessary and before inserting the batteries.
- Do not expose the batteries to extreme conditions (e.g. radiators or direct sunlight). Otherwise there is an increased risk of leaks.
- Batteries can endanger life if swallowed. Keep batteries out of the reach of small children for this reason. Seek medical help immediately if a battery is swallowed.10 Danger!
- Handle a damaged or leaking battery with extreme care and dispose of it properly and immediately. Wear gloves to handle the battery.
- If you come into contact with battery acid then wash the affected area with soap and water. If battery acid gets in your eye rinse it out with water and seek medical help immediately!
- Do not short-circuit the terminals. Inserting/replacing batteries WARNING! Follow these instructions to avoid mechanical and electrical dam- age. There are three batteries in the motion sensor (2) and two batteries in the light sensor (3). Insert the batteries (4) included in the delivery before first using the chassis (1). Chassis (fig. B) Insert the batteries (4) included in the delivery into the battery compartment (1c) of the chas- sis (1) as follows:
1. Using a suitable screwdriver (not supplied)
loosen the screw (1b) on the battery compart- ment lid (1a) on the bottom of the chassis (1) and remove it.
2. Carefully place the batteries into the battery
compartment (1c). The batteries must be fully seated in the battery compartment. Note: Pay attention to the plus/minus polarity of the batteries and their correct installation.
3. Screw the battery compartment lid (1a) back
tight on the bottom. Replacing batteries If the batteries stop working, replace them using the same process as described for inserting them. Remove the batteries already in the prod- uct before inserting the new batteries. Motion sensor and light sensor (fig.C) Before first use remove the plastic tongues (2a, 3a) from the battery lids (2b, 3b) of the motion sensor (2) and the light sensor (3). If the batteries inside no longer work, replace them as follows:
1. Using a suitable screwdriver loosen the
screw (2c, 3c) on the battery compartment lid (2b, 3b) and remove it.
2. Take out the batteries inside the product.
3. Carefully place new batteries into the battery
compartment (2d, 3d). The batteries must be fully seated in the battery compartment. Note: Pay attention to the plus/minus polarity of the batteries and their correct installation.
4. Screw the battery compartment lid (2b, 3b)
back on tight. Using the modelling clay
- Before and after each use of the clay wash your hands thoroughly.
- Knead any modelling clay that has hardened or been tempered until it is pliable again.
Warning: Do not mix the clay with
- Always use a suitable waterproof pad to pro- tect surfaces such as tabletops, floorings, etc.
- Do not use the product on doors, windows or tiles.
- Make sure that the product does not come into contact with textiles such as clothing, carpets, upholstered furniture, etc.
- When not in use put the clay back into the cans and close them. Shaping the vehicle (fig. D)
1. Work the clay to form a vehicle of any shape
2. Use the accessories to complete your vehicle
3. Plug a suitable accessory onto the motion
sensor (2) or the light sensor (3).
4. Place the motion sensor or the light sensor on
your vehicle. Note: If the sensor on the chassis (1) comes into contact with clay, the chassis is set in motion. If the motion sensor (2) comes into contact with clay, the upper part of the motion sensor turns. If the light sensor (3) comes into contact with clay, the LED in the upper part of the light sensor lights up and flashes. After a period of time the features switch off automatically. GB/IE11GB/IE Storage, cleaning When not in use, always store the product dry, clean, without batteries and at room tempera- ture. Chassis, motion sensor, and light sensor should be wiped clean with a dry cloth only. Remove any clay remnants and residue from the acces- sory. Never clean the clay with water. Keep the clay sealed in the cans. Protect from heat and direct sunlight. IMPORTANT! Never clean the product with harsh cleaning agents. Disposal In the interest of protecting the environ- ment, do not throw your product into the household waste once you are finished with it, but rather take it to a specialty disposal facility. Find out about collection sites and their hours of operation from your local authority. Defective or used batteries must be recycled pursuant to Directive 2006/66/EC and changes to it. Return batteries and/or the product via the collecting sites provided. Packaging materials, such as plastic bags, must be kept away from children. Keep the packaging materials out of reach of children. Environmental damage caused by improper disposal of batteries! Batteries may not be disposed of with household waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment. The chemical symbols of the heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. Dispose of used batteries at a municipal collection site. Dispose of the product and packaging in an environmentally friendly manner. Note the label on the packaging materials when separating waste, as these are labelled with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following meaning: 1–7: plastics/20–22: paper and cardboard/80–98: composite materials. The product and the packaging materials can be recycled, dispose of them separately for better treatment of waste. The Triman logo only applies to France. Find out how to dispose of the used product from your municipal or city administra- tion. Notes on the guarantee and service handling The product was produced with great care and under constant supervision. You receive a three- year warranty for this product from the date of purchase. Please retain your receipt. The warranty applies only to material and workmanship and does not apply to misuse or improper handling. Your statutory rights, espe- cially the warranty rights, are not affected by this warranty. With regard to complaints, please contact the following service hotline or contact us by e-mail. Our service employees will advise as to the subsequent procedure as quickly as possible. We will be personally available to discuss the situation with you. Any repairs under the warranty, statutory guar- antees or through goodwill do not extend the warranty period. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts. Repairs after the warranty are subject to a charge.
