How do I connect the HypeMiC to my computer?

Plug the included USB cable into a USB port on your computer. The HypeMiC is recognized automatically, no driver needed. Make sure the microphone is selected as the input device in audio settings.

How do I adjust the mic/headphone blend (Blend)?

Use the Blend button on the microphone. Each press cycles through 5 settings: from 90% mic/10% application to 0% mic/100% application. The setting is briefly displayed on screen.

What are the different Blend settings available?

The 5 settings are: 1) Mic emphasis (90% mic, 10% application); 2) Mic heavy (75/25); 3) Balanced (50/50); 4) Mic light (25/75); 5) Blend Off (0% mic, 100% application).

How do I adjust input gain?

Turn the Gain knob on the HypeMiC to increase or decrease input volume. Start at a low level and adjust according to your sound source to avoid distortion.

Can I use the HypeMiC with an iPad/iPhone?

Yes, via a USB-C to Lightning adapter (or USB-C to USB-C for newer models). Plug in the adapter and the HypeMiC will be recognized. You may need to select the microphone in your audio app.
