How to turn on and off the InFocus LightPro IN1014 projector?
To turn on, plug in the power cord then press the POWER button on the control panel or remote control. To turn off, press POWER again, then confirm by pressing a second time within 4 seconds. Let the fan cool down before unplugging.
How to connect a computer to the projector?
Use a VGA cable for an analog connection by plugging the PC into the COMPUTER IN port. For a digital connection, use an HDMI cable on one of the HDMI1 or HDMI2 ports. You can also use USB Display with a USB-B cable.
How to adjust keystone distortion of the image?
Press the KEYSTONE button on the remote control to open the correction menu. Use the arrows to correct vertical/horizontal keystone (H/V Keystone), corners (Corner correction), or curvature (Curved correction).
How to clean the projector's air filter?
Turn off the projector and unplug it. Use a soft vacuum or lint-free cloth to remove dust from the filter located on the side. Do not use liquid. Replace the filter and reset the filter counter in the menu Extended → Filter counter.
How to replace the projector's lamp?
Purchase a certified InFocus replacement lamp. Turn off the projector, unplug it, and let it cool. Open the lamp compartment (screws), remove the old lamp, insert the new one, and close. Reset the lamp counter in the menu Extended → Filter counter (or lamp).
How to use the PIN code security function?
Go to the menu Extended → Security and enable the lock. Enter a 3-digit PIN code. At each power-on, the projector will ask for this code. Keep it safe; if forgotten, contact InFocus support.
Why is the projected image blurry or distorted?
First check the focus by turning the focus ring on the lens. Ensure the projection distance is appropriate. If the image is keystone-shaped, use the Keystone correction. For overall blur, clean the lens with a soft cloth.
How to enable closed captioning?
In the menu Settings → Closed caption, choose CC1 to CC4 to display subtitles embedded in the video signal. Ensure the source transmits caption data. This function is available only for compatible video signals.
Can we project from a USB flash drive?
Yes, thanks to the Memory Viewer function. Insert a USB drive into the USB-A port, then select Memory Viewer as the input source. You can display images (JPEG) and text files. Use the arrows to navigate.
How to control the projector via network?
Connect an RJ45 cable to the LAN port of the projector. In the menu Extended → Network, configure the IP settings. You can then use a web browser or remote control software to manage the projector (turn on/off, change source, etc.).
