What types of connectors can I install in the N206FP04IND faceplate?

You can install bulkhead couplers (Cat5e/6, USB 3.0, HDMI 4K, LC/LC fiber) or compatible Keystone jacks, such as models N206-BC01-IND, U325-000-IND, P569-000-FF-IND, N455-BC01-IND and N206-KJ01-IND.

Is the N206FP04IND faceplate waterproof?

The faceplate itself offers IP44 splash protection. For IP68 protection (immersion up to 1.5m for 30 minutes), it must be used with an N206-SB01-IND surface mount box and appropriate cables and connectors.

How to install the N206FP04IND faceplate?

Drill holes in the box or surface, then secure the faceplate with the provided screws (not included). Remove knockout entries if necessary for cable passage. Follow the product combinations in the manual to ensure sealing.

Can I use standard cables with this faceplate?

It is recommended to use industrial-grade cables from the N206-PCXX-IND, U325-XXX-IND, P569-XXX-IND or N820-XXM-IND series to maintain sealing integrity. Standard cables may compromise IP protection.

What is the difference between N206-FP01, FP02, and FP04 faceplates?

The faceplates differ by the number of cutouts: FP01 for 1 connector, FP02 for 2 connectors, FP04 for 4 connectors. Choose according to the number of connections needed.

Is the N206FP04IND faceplate compatible with the N206-SB01-IND box?

Yes, the N206-SB01-IND surface mount box can accommodate the N206FP04IND faceplate. This combination allows achieving IP68 protection if other components are also compatible.

What tools are needed for installation?

A screwdriver (Phillips or flathead) and possibly a drill for mounting holes. Knockout entries may require pliers or a cutter. Tools are not included.

Is the faceplate UV resistant?

The manual does not specifically mention UV resistance. For outdoor use, it is recommended to protect the assembly or check with the manufacturer.

Can I use the faceplate for power cables?

No, this faceplate is designed for data and signal connections (network, USB, HDMI, fiber). Do not use for power cables.

For the front mating connection, you can use the N206-PCXX-IND, U325-XXX-IND, P569-XXX-IND, N820-XXX-IND or N200P-XXBL-IND Series industrial cables. You can also choose to assemble your own cable connection using the N206-WK01-IND waterproof assembly kit.
