Frequently Asked Questions - Vanilla G20136 G3 Ferrari

How long does the bowl need to be frozen before use?
The freezing bowl must be placed in the freezer for at least 8 hours before preparing ice cream. Make sure it feels cold to the touch.
Can I use a metal spoon to stir the ice cream?
No, never use metal utensils inside the freezing bowl, as they can scratch the surface. Instead, use a plastic or wooden spoon when the machine is off.
How to clean the ice cream maker?
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning. Do not immerse the motor unit. Wash the bowl, paddle, and lid in warm water, rinse, and dry thoroughly. Do not put in dishwasher. Wipe the outside with a non-abrasive damp cloth.
Can I make sorbets with this machine?
Yes, the machine can make sorbets. The manual includes for example a recipe for fresh lemon sorbet. The principle is the same as for ice cream.
What is the maximum amount of ingredients I can put?
Do not fill the bowl beyond 60% of its capacity (about 600 ml) because ice expands as it sets. This prevents overflow.
Do I need to pre-freeze the ingredients?
No, do not put the ingredients in the freezer before pouring. The initial temperature should be about 25 ± 5°C. Pre-freezing would block the blade before the ice cream is ready.
Is the ice cream ready after 50 minutes?
The churning time is approximately 50 to 60 minutes. The ice cream will then be thick and creamy. You can eat it immediately or place it in the freezer for a firmer consistency.
What to do if the freezing solution leaks from the bowl?
If you notice a leak, stop using immediately. The freezing solution is not toxic, but it is advised to contact after-sales service. Do not use a damaged bowl.
Can I use raw eggs in the recipe?
Recipes with raw or partially cooked eggs should not be given to young children, pregnant women, elderly or sick people. Consume the ice cream within a week.
Where can I find the full manual?
