Intended use

This product has been developed for private use outdoors by children aged 1 to 3 years up to a maximum weight of 30kg. The product is not intended for commercial use.

Safety instructions

Danger to life!

• Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. Risk of suffocation.
• WARNING – Seating furniture for children that stands below a window may be used by a child as a step and result in the child falling from the window.
• WARNING – Beware of the risk from open flames and other strong heat sources, such as radiators, gas heaters, etc. in the direct vicinity of the product.
• WARNING – Do not place the product close to any other object that might present an external risk of suffocation or strangulation, e.g. rope, roller blind cords, curtain wire, etc.

Risk of injury!

• Before using the product check for correct stability!
• The product may only be used under adult supervision and not as a toy.
• The product is not for climbing on or playing with! Make sure that people, particularly children, do not stand on the product or pull themselves up on it. The product may tip over.
• When assembling and disassembling the product be very careful with your fingers. There is a risk of injury from trapping your fingers.
• Ensure that the product has been fully unfolded before using it.
• Check the product for damage or wear before each use. The product may be used only when in good working order and condition!
• Never sit on the backrests or armrests. The product may tip over.
• The product may not be used in adverse weather conditions such as strong wind, rain, or snow.
• Never use the product to take shelter from storms.
• Before opening and closing the parasol make sure that no people or objects are in its immediate vicinity.
• The product offers protection against direct sunlight outdoors. Because of reflective UV radiation you must not forget to use an appropriate sunscreen product.

Avoiding material damage!

• Close the parasol if the wind picks up or if there are other adverse weather conditions. Secure the product (with a strap, for example) to prevent it opening inadvertently.
• Secure the product in extreme weather conditions, e.g. in strong winds. Store the product in a protected area.
• Do not leave the parasol open and unattended.
• Do not modify the product in any way.
• Do not hang anything from the cross braces of the parasol.
• Always make sure that the parasol is standing securely. Plant the parasol's lower pole section (ground anchor) firmly in the ground.
• No liability for accidents that occur because of disregarding the safety instructions above or improper handling.

Assembly

Unfolding and folding the chair (fig. B)

1. Pull apart the seat and the backrest.
   Note: Make sure that the chair (6) is fully unfolded. The locking mechanism must click in audibly.
2. To fold up the chair (6), pull the locking mechanism up and press together the seat and the backrest.

Setting up the table (fig. C)

Assemble the table as shown in fig. C.

Note: Make sure that both base feet sections are connected correctly and that the brackets underneath the table top on the table frame are locked in place.

Setting up and opening the parasol (fig. D)

1. Open the clamping lever on the lower pole section.
2. Interconnect the upper and lower pole sections.
   Note: Make sure that the upper pole slots into the lower pole section by at least 10cm.
3. Close the clamping lever.
4. Insert the lower pole section into the opening in the centre of the table top.

5. Secure the parasol against falling over by pushing into the ground the lower pole section with ground anchor.

6. To open the parasol, press the slider upwards until it clicks in audibly.

Note: Beware of trapping your fingers!

Important: To prevent the parasol from closing inadvertently, the safety hook must always be attached to a cross brace. Press the slider all the way up so as to be able to keep the safety hook fixed in place.

1. Close the parasol by pressing on the button on the slider and sliding it down.

Storage, cleaning

When not in use, always store the product clean and dry at room temperature. Only clean the product with a damp cloth and wipe dry afterwards. Open the parasol and leave it to dry. IMPORTANT! Never clean the product with harsh cleaning agents.

Disposal

Dispose of the article and the packaging materials in accordance with current local regulations. Packaging materials such as foil bags are not suitable to be given to children. Keep the packaging materials out of the reach of children.

Dispose of the products and the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.

The recycling code is used to identify various materials for recycling. The code consists of the recycling symbol – which

is meant to reflect the recycling cycle – and a number which identifies the material.

Notes on the guarantee and service handling

The product was produced with great care and under continuous quality control. DELTA-SPORT HANDELSKONTOR GmbH gives private end customers a three-year guarantee on this product from the date of purchase (guarantee period) in accordance with the following provisions.

The guarantee is only valid for material and manufacturing defects. The guarantee does not cover parts subject to normal wear and tear that are thus considered wear parts (e.g. batteries) or fragile parts such as switches, rechargeable batteries, or parts made of glass.

Claims under this guarantee are excluded if the product has been used incorrectly, improperly, or contrary to the intended purpose, or if the provisions in the instructions for use were not observed, unless the end customer proves that a material or manufacturing defect exists that was not caused by one of the aforementioned circumstances.

Claims under the guarantee can only be made within the guarantee period by presenting the original sales receipt. Please therefore keep the original sales receipt. The guarantee period is not extended by any repairs carried out under the guarantee, under statutory guarantees, or as a gesture of goodwill. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
