When using an electrical appliance, always observe basic safety measures:

1. Use the window vacuum cleaner only as described in these instructions.
2. Do not store or charge the window vacuum cleaner outdoors but always at room temperature and in a dry location.
3. Do not operate the charger with moist or wet hands.
4. Do not insert any objects into the ventilation slots.
5. The appliance can be used by children 8 years and older and persons with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or with lack of experience or knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed in its use so that they can use the appliance safely and understand the risks associated with it. Children must not play with the appliance. Children must not clean or service the appliance without supervision.
6. The window vacuum cleaner must only be charged with the charger provided.
7. Charge the window vacuum cleaner completely before the initial use.
8. After charging, always separate the charger from the power outlet and window vacuum cleaner.
9. Repairs must only be made by authorised service technician. Never open the basic unit single-handedly. The individual components of the basic unit must not be disassembled, repaired or altered.
10. Unplug the appliance before cleaning or servicing. Make sure during cleaning that no liquids get into switches and buttons.

• Use this appliance solely for cleaning moist, smooth surfaces such as windows, mirrors and tiles.
  • The appliance must not suck in any dust.
• In order to prevent damaging the rubber lip, do not use the window vacuum cleaner on rough surfaces.
• The appliance is not suitable for absorbing larger quantities of liquids over 100 ml as well as flammable or sticky liquids.
• Use this appliance only in conjunction with conventional window cleaning agents (no spirits or foam cleaner). We recommend: Leifheit glass cleaner or window spray.
• Use this appliance only with Leifheit approved accessories and spare parts.
  Any other use will be considered as improper. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any damages resulting from such use; the user is solely responsible for damage from improper use.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The battery must only be charged with the charger provided. The charger should only be used in conjunction with the Leifheit window vacuum cleaner.

• The appliance contains electrical components. Never clean under running water!
• Do not use the window vacuum cleaner on rough surfaces.
• Clean the appliance with a moist cloth.

DISPOSAL

The symbol on the product or its packaging indicates according to directive 2012/19/EU that this product including the installed battery must not be treated as normal household waste but should be handed over to a collection point for recycling electrical and electronic devices.

You can receive additional information from your municipality, municipal waste disposal company or the shop where you bought the product.

Caution: The following instructions must always be observed with lithium-ion batteries:

The battery must not be damaged or opened; doing so can cause a

short circuit. There is risk of fire. Toxic substances hazardous to health can escape.

The batteries must not end up in a fire. They must also not be exposed to direct, strong solar radiation and heat.

1. The battery is empty; recharge the appliance.

2. If the appliance is partially or fully charged, switch the appliance off and immediately back on again up to three times using the appliance switch in order to rule out a short-term malfunction. If the blinking continues, leave the appliance switched off for several minutes at room temperature. An appliance temperature that is too low can cause a short-time malfunction. If the blinking continues, contact the dealer where you bought the appliance.

Red flashing LED

1. Contact the dealer where you bought the appliance.

Streaks on window

1. You may be holding the appliance too steeply or shallowly against the pane. You will get the best result when the window vacuum cleaner is held at an approximately 45^ degree angle to the pane.

2. Check the rubber lip for damage; the lip can be exchanged if necessary.

Water leaks from the ventilation slots

1. The tank has reached the maximum level of 100 ml and must be emptied.
2. Water can leak through the fan due to very sudden movements when using it overhead.
   Regularly empty the tank and avoid any very sudden movements of the appliance.
