This is not a toy or children's product. This product is not designed or intended for use by children age 12 or younger. Adult supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

- Do not use appliance for other than intended purpose.
- Water reservoir is for water only. Do not fill with any other liquid. Do not overfill the water reservoir with water.
- CAUTION: The machine has two sharp needles that puncture the flavor capsule. One on the needle holder and the other in the capsule holder. To avoid risk of injury, do not put your fingers in the holders or under the lid when closing.
- Always place the unit on a level, stable, and water-resistant surface.

This appliance is intended for household use only.
WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard: This appliance is provided with a polarized plug (one wide blade) to reduce the risk of electric shock. The plug fits only one way into a polarized outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the plug by modifying the plug in any way or by using an adapter. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, have an electrician replace the outlet.
The length of the cord used on this appliance was selected to reduce the hazards of becoming tangled in or tripping over a longer cord. If a longer cord

How to Dispense Flavored Water
NOTES:
• Always insert Funnel before Flavor Capsule Holder.
- Do not lift Lid while water is dispensing. Lifting Lid causes cycle to stop. Dispenser will dispense an additional 12 ounces if restarted.
- Use only cold water in Water Reservoir. Do not use hot water.
- Do not dispense water without Removable Needle Holder locked in place.

- Press Flavor + Filtered Button to dispense 12 ounces of flavored water. NOTE: To stop dispensing, press Flavor + Filtered Button and press again within 5 minutes to restart.

Indicator Light
Continuous orange during operation: Operation is normal and filter monitoring system is working.
Flashes red 3 times and stops: Lid is not latched or Removable Funnel is not in place. Check Removable Funnel and make sure it is installed correctly. Close Lid and make sure it latches.
Flashes red, then yellow continuously: Water Reservoir is empty. Fill Water Reservoir with cold water to MAX Fill Line.
Filter is not in place. Remove Water Reservoir and secure Water Filter in Water Filter Well.
Continuous yellow during operation: Filter is close to end of life.
Continuous red during operation: Filter is at end of life and needs to be replaced.
Troubleshooting
Water remaining below Water Reservoir.
- This is normal if Water Reservoir has been removed and water is remaining.
Water on countertop.
• Water Reservoir is not placed properly onto Base. Remove Water Reservoir and carefully slide down into place.
Unit does not turn on when Flavor + Filtered Button or Filtered Water Button has been pressed.
- Make sure Removable Funnel is in place and Lid is latched.
Unit is running and not dispensing or has reduced water flow and Indicator Light is not red.
- Unplug. Check Water Filter for correct placement. Check for clogged needle in Removable Needle Holder and Removable Flavor Capsule Holder. Follow cleaning instructions in "Care and Cleaning" for "How to Fix a Clogged Needle."
- If needles in Removable Needle Holder and Removable Flavor Capsule Holder have been cleaned, replace Water Filter. Follow instructions for "How to Replace Water Filter."
Cup is overflowing.
- Use a cup with a capacity of at least 14 ounces.
- Lid opened and restarted without removing water from previous cycle. Do not lift Lid while water is dispensing. Lifting Lid causes cycle to stop. Dispenser will dispense 12 ounces if restarted.
AquaFusion turns off after an extended operation.
- This product is designed to turn off after 3 minutes of operation for Water Pump protection. Wait 1 minute before restarting.
Care and Cleaning
A WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard. Disconnect power before cleaning. Do not immerse cord, plug, or base in water or other liquid.
⚠️ CAUTION Cut Hazard. Removable needle holder has a sharp needle. Piercing needle on underside of lid is also sharp. Use caution
when handling.
- Removable Funnel, Cup Mat, Flavor Capsule Holder, and Removable Needle Holder are dishwasher safe in top rack only.
- Wash Water Reservoir and Reservoir Lid in hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
- Wipe outside with a damp cloth and dry.
How to Fix a Clogged Needle
- Unplug.
- Remove Removable Needle Holder in Lid by turning the arrow counterclockwise from locked icon (☐) to unlocked icon (☐). Remove flavor capsule.
- Bend a small paper clip. Insert tip of paper clip through hole of Piercing Needle in both Removable Flavor Capsule Holder and Removable Needle Holder and up into shaft of Piercing Needle to ensure sediment has been removed.
- To replace gray Removable Needle Holder, insert tab between lock icon (☐) and unlocked icon (☐). Turn clockwise to lock.

- Lift Removable Water Reservoir straight up to remove.
- Turn Filter counterclockwise to unlock and remove Filter.
- Place new Filter in Water Filter Well and align Water Filter arrow with arrow outside Water Filter Well. Turn clockwise to lock in place.
- Remove Lid on Water Reservoir. Add only cold water to MAX Fill Line. Press Lid onto Water Reservoir.
- Holding Water Reservoir with opening for Water Filter in front, lower Water Reservoir into place. Add Lid and press down to secure.
- Press and hold both Flavor + Filtered and Filtered Water buttons for at least 3 seconds. Indicator Light will flash when reset is complete and then will turn off.
- After installing Water Filter, place a large container on Cup Mat. Press and hold Filtered Water Button to drain all water from Water Reservoir to flush new Filter. Discard filtered water and repeat process by filling Water Reservoir a second time.
Hamilton Beach Limited Warranty
This warranty applies to products purchased and used in the U.S. and Canada. This is the only express warranty for this product and is in lieu of any other warranty or condition.
This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of original purchase in Canada and one (1) year from the date of original purchase in the U.S. During this period, your exclusive remedy is replacement of this product or any component found to be defective, at our option; however, you are responsible for all costs associated with our returning a product or component under this warranty to you. If the product or component is unavailable, we will replace with a similar one of equal or greater value.
This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse. This warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser or gift recipient. Keep the original sales receipt, as proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim. This warranty is void if the product is used for other than single-family household use or subjected to any voltage and waveform other than as specified on the rating label (e.g., 120 V \~ 60 Hz).
We exclude all claims for special, incidental, and consequential damages caused by breach of express or implied warranty. All liability is limited to the amount of the purchase price. Every implied warranty, including any statutory warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is disclaimed except to the extent prohibited by law, in which case such warranty or condition is limited to the duration of this written warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other legal rights that vary depending on where you live. Some states or provinces do not allow limitations on implied warranties or special, incidental, or consequential damages, so the foregoing limitations may not apply to you.
